Shoot! The chronicle questions got me thinking. I'm running my first SFS game via PbP now and was planning to credit it to Tofana. Is that going to mess this game and chronicle up? I have a couple other PCs that I could use instead to keep the paperwork clean. Or could I credit that game to a different character? In any case I'm in at level 1.

This is my 2nd go at GMing society so I'm not an expert exactly. I'm fairly confident though that GM credit chronicles are a little different. I believe you can hold off on applying it until after this chronicle if you want as long as this doesn't push you out of the right tier.

Bad news everyone. I just received this email.
Hey Everyone,
I have some unfortunate news. I regret to inform you all that we will have to postpone Gameday VIII by 2 weeks.
This would place our new dates for Gameday at: 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.
HOW DO I NOTIFY MY PLAYERS?
Go ahead and post the news to your tables. Feel free to copy this email if you wish. We will be posting notices in all the PBP lodges as well as the Gameday VIII Announcement page.
I know this is not what we hoped to do, and I’m sorry. Thank you for understanding that we’re scrambling to fix this.

Hiya, sorry, but I'm not able to see the maps, they look blank to me, so not sure how far away the snipers are, where the cover is etc. I'm guessing that Yi would try and run closer, and get to cover where he could, throwing himself t othe grouund (and getting back up as a free action, moxie anyone?) beofre continuing to do so until he could shoot.

Yes this map is a monster. Keep in mind each square is 30 feet. If you get close enough to engage in melee I'll probably switch to a close up.
As long as you are to the right of the little ruins pictures you can get cover anytime by using a move action. Otherwise the only other cover is the big red rocks in the middle or if you get really close to the rises by the snipers.
Besides those options, you just have to run and take your chances. Or shoot from really far away if possible. You guys ate lucky to have two snipers, when I played this we had no choice but to run over.
If you guys haven't guessed this is the final fight. So we might as well roll to see if anyone wins a boon. Roll a straight d20 please, like so:

It seems about the right time for Kal'rin to Stay in The Fight with resolve and bust the last one's head!
On that note, sorry about how parts of this scenario have gone. Seems like its probably been pretty bland for some of you. Maybe this isn't a great one for pbp.
You're right, Egg. The end is kind of weird. I like it much better when the party votes for a resolution. The fractured reality doesn't make sense.
Errestan, I'm also sorry things didn't go well for Kal'rin. That sniper scenario was designed to either minimize melee combatants or beat them up during the long approach. I thought the final fight was going to be a place for him to shine, but you had bad luck with those enemy rolls. I felt bad about not stepping up beside you, but Tofana was already hurt and she's not built for melee. Her AC is too low and her melee damage output is miniscule.
On the other hand, it was nice that Tofana and Sully had a chance to do the sniper thing. That's a rare opportunity.
