Sayna Elantho |
Player/Forum Name: Evie/Hrothdane
Character's Name: Sayna Elantho
PFS# 99807-20
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day job Roll: She will take ten on perform (sing) for 30
Any abilities or mechanics the GM should be aware of:
Sayna is a sister-in-arms cavalier, so she has both order of the lion and order of the dragon and follows the edicts of one of her choosing (dragon in her case) in exchange for giving up the mount. She uses a Banner of the Scarlet Rose as her banner. She suffers from arcane spell failure chance, but all of her first level spells lack somatic components, so she can cast them without trouble. She is also a sunsoul ifrit with 45 applications of fire ink tattoos, enough that her uncovered head, hands, and feet each provide illumination as a torch. She also has a trait (fiery glare) that allows her to always take ten on intimidate checks.
Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as someone that has a brawler/master of many styles monk with a similar build re:style feats, I don't think that Dolamite can legally have pummeling charge at this point due to the Master of Many Styles errata. The MoMS bonus feats can only be style feats now, and only the initial feats in a style chain have the style descriptor. That also means pummeling bully can't be taken as a MoMS bonus feat. I only know cause I got hit by that errata myself. Thankfully, that errata allowed a limited rebuild iirc, so it's a doable fix, and we have plenty of time before starting
Dolamite |
I have looked at all the errata I can find and have not found what you are referring to. Can you provide a reference? Most of what I found was from 2015. Pummelling Bully is not big deal but the character was built on Pummeling Charge.
Sayna Elantho |
It’s the Ultimate Combat second to third printing errata. It’s here on the second page
It is indeed from 2015. It was right before I took a break from PFS for a while.
Sayna Elantho |
I also found the post from John Compton saying what your rebuild options are
As someone who just hit 11 not long ago on my MoMS pummeling/dragon style character, I can assure you it’s still worth it, even with the nerf. My character was also built around Feral Combat Training and the errata broke that for her, too, and she’s still great
Touchy |
Player/Forum Name: Aaron
Character's Name: Touchy
PFS#: 84637-9
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day job Roll: Touchy makes candy! 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 2 = 14 (though not overly well, apparently)
Any abilities or mechanics the GM should be aware of: Touchy is pretty much a sucky cleric. He technically channels negative energy, but doesn't have enough charisma to do even that. But he's fun to RP ... if entirely inappropriate sometimes. =)
Sayna Elantho |
I would like to formally request that he not be touchy or handsy with Sayna
Thoriel Liltamael |
Player/Forum Name: Greenclaw
Character's Name: Thoriel Liltamael
PFS#: 74677-1
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day job Roll: Perform (Dance): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Any abilities or mechanics the GM should be aware of: Thoriel, as a dex-based Spell Dancer magus, uses her arcane points to increase speed and mobility in combat.
I've played on a table with Touchy before and am comfortable with a bit of friendly inappropriateness between him and Thoriel, who is one of my more flirty toons as well. She's a former Calistrian 'priestess' and performs exotic dancing as a day job so is all-too familiar with the likes of the handsy dwarf.

Alright team, Gameday is fast approaching!
Looks like we are missing two players still {Lord Greymore/TDB & Gerald / Fahd Bin Stavain}. I have been in contact with Greymore, but I will send out a muster call just to be safe.
Feel free to start some in character role play in the GAMEPLAY tab. Also, please take a moment to add your information to the Slides. This would also be a good time to know if the link does not work.
Dolamite |
I still have to update my character with the changes that Sayna correctly pointed out. I'll do my best to do that this weekend. And I think I have a chronicle I need to add. When do we start?
Fahd Bin Stavain PFS |
Hey guys, will get my info updated.
Fahd Bin Stavain PFS |
Player/Forum Name: Gerald
Character's Name: Fahd Bin Stavain PFS
PFS#: 12445-11
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day job Roll: Profession Bouncer 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Any abilities or mechanics the GM should be aware of: Fahd drinks his Mutagen and punches thing really hard. That’s about the long and the short of it.
Serres "Fade" Vahl |
Finally making his way from the local drinking hole, Fade stumbles into the discussion thread...
Player: Greymore
Character: Serres "Fade" Vahl
PFS#: 133512-12
Faction: Dark Archive
Day Job: Slight of Hand: 1d20 + 24 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 24 + 2 = 34 (*Thieves' Guild offers +2 to steal things and use for day jobs/included in roll)
1)He is almost always invisible, as it makes things so much easier for him on a regular basis. Less running and hiding, more drinking and well... drinking. Since it doesn't take any burn to do, he just reactivates it when it would end. His TK invis is not full invis and only offers +10/+20 to stealth, but it also muffles sound so blindsight doesn't automatically work to find him.
2)He is always scanning for opportunity, as sharp eyes and ears bring home the best hauls. He takes 10 whenever he can for perception checks. Feel free to either roll for him or ask me to roll if you want.
3)He starts his day out with burn, bumping up his force ward, and then tries to remain free of further burn throughout the rest his day through various choices for actions. His current stats should reflect this.
4)He can heal with kinetic healer, but he always passes the burn on to the person he heals. For those that don't know, 1 burn = 1 NL damage per HD of the person healed, and it can't be healed until the person rests for the day. So if Fade heals a 9th level char it will cause them 9 NL dmg, but heal them for the same amount as his blast. It's a good trade off under the right conditions.
5)Fade loves to just take things. He is almost like a kender at times, if you know the reference, and almost absentmindedly picks pockets. Other times he fleeces people intentionally, via dice games and cheating or an outright TK pickpocket, but if someone is really down on their luck he is willing to throw a game or reverse pick pocket some change into their pouches. He has exceptional slight of hand and uses it at a range of 45 feet(short range) via TK Finesse so it's hard to catch him.
6)In combat he will usually stand in one place(preferably from behind some cover or out of reach of a melee attack at least), using gather power as a move action and attacking with an empowered blast as a standard action, using no burn for the attack. He usually plays it smart and looks to maximize his position, but there have been moments where he has acted as a distraction/target to save a friend, though that is not his preferred course of action. If the situation really calls for it, such as very tough fight that needs a swift ending, he will use burn to empower and maximize his attack.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Hey Everyone,
I have some unfortunate news. I regret to inform you all that we will have to postpone Gameday VIII by 2 weeks.
This would place our new dates for Gameday at: 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.
HOW DO I NOTIFY MY PLAYERS?
Go ahead and post the news to your tables. Feel free to copy this email if you wish. We will be posting notices in all the PBP lodges as well as the Gameday VIII Announcement page.
I know this is not what we hoped to do, and I’m sorry. Thank you for understanding that we’re scrambling to fix this.
If you have any other questions please don’t be afraid to ask.
-Tyranius
We are in a holding pattern as far as our official start. However, character introductions and interactions are welcomed and encouraged.
Sayna Elantho |
Sorry to say i’m going to need to drop out of this one. I’m going to need Sayna for some f2f games coming up and i dont have a suitable replacement. Good luck everyone!
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Sorry to see you go. Marked you as 'inactive'.
Good Luck!
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Dolamite 8
Fade 9
Fahd 9
Mykel 5
Thoriel 9
Touchy 7
Sub-tier calculator: 8 + 9 + 9 + 5 + 9 + 7 = 47/6=7.83
Looks like we are playing high tier.
Please go to the slides and update your information before you make your first post.
Serres "Fade" Vahl |
Under my last post I spoilered some notes/bot me instructions, but I figured I should add some things for the group since it was a while ago.
Once things start moving, Fade will tag everyone with message so the group can still talk quietly at range. I figure this might be really helpful when searching around town and talking with people.
Fade is not a diplomatic character in the least, but he often interacts with people despite that.
From a tactical standpoint, he usually scouts at range from his group when appropriate, using his TK invisibility to spy over shoulders or gain access to more secure areas(using TK finesse to pick locks or pilfer items)in an effort to uncover information the more diplomatic characters might use in their interactions with the locals.
He can't use his Tk invis on others, as is often asked, but he can use it as often as he wants on himself.
I didn't put him at the front of the marching order, but he would like to take 10 on perception checks(then modify for distance) whenever they are called for. If the group comes upon a door, or the beginning of a hallway, the middle of a hallway, the end of a hallway, or before/when turning around a corner in any sort of dungeon or other obvious danger zone, he will also take 10 but actively search at those times.
Just wanted to get that out of the way.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Dolamite, can you please update your information on Slide #2 when you get a chance?
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
As I stole borrowed them from someone else, I do not mind at all.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
No word from Fade, so we will move ahead. Encounters will have the four player adjustment added.
In case you were wondering, the adjustment would not have made a difference with the rolls in the information gathering section.
Dolamite |
I wanted to mention that I have been off line twice over two weeks for a couple days. This is unusual and resulting from my need to care for a aging parent. I think I have that all worked out now. Sorry for my lack of daily posts.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Sorry, life hammering me a bit at the moment. Will have a post up within the next 24 hours (or less).
Dolamite |
My family issues are finally resolved and I'll be able to post more regularly, at least until October 29, when I leave for a 2 week trip. I'll have an ipad with me and will post then as time allows. Sorry for my absence.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
I am so sorry. Work and flu have made for a rough week.
Incoming post.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
Happy Halloween everyone!
It's kind of a big deal at my house. So, more than likely, I won't be posting until Friday.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
So, we are about done. With Gameday wrapping up, I thought I might roll for some boons. Good luck everyone.
Dolamite: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Fahd: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Thoriel: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Touchy: 1d20 ⇒ 20 Which one?: 1d3 ⇒ 2
GM Doom 'n Gloom: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Congrats Touchy! Just need your email address for reporting purposes.
GM Doom 'n Gloom |

You can find your chronicles here.
Please let me know if there are any errors or corrections to be made.
Fahd Bin Stavain PFS |
Thank you, GM. Was a very good run. Greatly appreciate you taking the time to guide us through. Had a great time, everyone!
GM Doom 'n Gloom |
It looks like everyone has their sheet, so I will close this in the next 24 hours or so.
