There was this little bit of information revealed in a Sense Motive earlier, about Ykris:
They also seem open to discussing the host-parasite relationship.
There's no pertinent skill attached, so you might try anything, I believe. Bilimi got a +6 Diplomacy, perhaps that can be used.
| GM Wolffauer |
Can I maybe use my profession; bodyguard as a skill check for knowledge about the assassin? Haha
Yes. Instead of taking time for a computers check, you can call some of your professional contacts and find out what they know.
| GM Wolffauer |
No sign of Bilimi. Would one of you like to bot him until he shows again? He has his full details on his profile.
DuQuesne
|
I might as well, since DuQuesne is almost done for this combat!
Bilimi "BeeSting"
|
Sorry everyone. Had a rough coupe of RL days.
| GM Wolffauer |
No worries - glad to have you back. Hope everything has settled down for you.
DuQuesne
|
At least you are not causing 1 point of nonlethal damage when you hit...
Nadia Tera
|
Anyone have any healing to get us downed people back up? Apparently I don't have any healing serums on this character right now.
DuQuesne
|
GM, can I reroll at least those last 2 medicine checks? It was the same result both on the skill and on the expertise dice, those are some lottery odds there.
Nadia Tera

Sorry I was out all weekend. Had some password issues that kept me out of a bunch of accounts.

I suggest we split up to search for the bombs and Triloteya:
- Dariox (engineering and perception) + Marbles (bruiser);
- Nadia (engineering) + Bilimi (perception);
- Duquesne (perception) takes the stage to make an unscheduled speech, delaying the main event and also trying to find Triloteya from up there.
This way we cover more ground while looking for the bombs and the assassin, while no one stays alone and gets ambushed.
DuQuesne
|
Just realized how easy it would be for someone to disguise themselves as Ykris.
DuQuesne
|
Quick, someone trip a busboy!
DuQuesne
|
Time for plan B: everyone (who survives) rushes Triloteya.
DuQuesne
|
The main damage dealers are far away from the villain, we still have two invisible bombs and she probably can blow all of them up in one go - perhaps it's time to parlay, at least buy Nadia some time to destroy the two bombs on the stage.
Bilimi "BeeSting"
|
Im guessing i cant move to the door. Open the door and fore in one round
DuQuesne
|
Considering that configuration, I suppose they are all on the stage.
Man, all those Perception checks we did everywhere else in the room...
DuQuesne
|
Was Nadia roll low enough to explode another bomb, even with the bonuses from the instructions we found? That DC is nuts
| GM Wolffauer |
Good catch. With the bonus the bomb will not go off. (DC 18 to disarm, DC 13 to not explode)
We are close to finishing up here, and I need to submit our game report by Monday. Time for some boon rolls!
Everyone roll a 1d20. If you get a 19 or 20 you have won a boon. Roll a 1d3 to determine which boon you will get - also send me your email address so the boon can be sent to you.
DuQuesne
|
Boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 5
Oh well.
| GM Wolffauer |
Oh dear. Maybe it will start to wrap around.
GM Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Nope!
If anyone is interested, I'm recruiting for my next game.
Historia-7 is recruiting a team for an undercover mission to the Arch Energy Consortium headquarters. There they must suborn the hedonist son of the CEO to gain access to the confidential files Historia-7 needs.
Do you have what it takes?

This is it. Unless she stops to detonate the explosives, she's leaving the map in this round.
And Marbles is the only one with a chance to get her (and shooting from a corner at that) before she skedaddles.
DuQuesne
|
Wow. At least I'm in range of only one of the bombs. XD
Dariox
|
Two questions:
1) Can the window looking down into the AV booth be opened?
2) Is the door that Triloteya next to open?
It might be a good idea for Bilimi and Marbles wait on their actions to know the answers to this.
| GM Wolffauer |
The window can be open. The doors to the access hall are closed, but just push open (like a swinging door to a restaurant kitchen), so would not delay someone moving through them.
Dariox
|
Alright. That means that they can't be shot thorough I'm guessing. Never mind on my first plan.
| GM Wolffauer |
Afraid so.
Marbles looks to have the best shot - instead of taking that second move, he could fire one last time (it's around the corner, but close enough for me). I don't think anyone else can get their in time.
DuQuesne
|
You could always give chase and try to convince her to blow us up before leaving, that might make her stick around - unless her detonator has a button.
Dariox
|
Unless she is exceptionally fast, I believe that it would take both of her move actions to get into the elevator, assuming that the doors are even open. And unless they close right behind her, which seems like it would be a health and safety hazard to me, some of us could potentially take the run action to get in there with her.
DuQuesne
|
A crit on the last round, that makes up for anything.
| GM Wolffauer |
Thanks for playing!
Chronicle sheets will be up tomorrow.
DuQuesne
|
This is my first Society game to conclude, do we need to do something now?
--//--
I found about campaign mode while this one was ongoing, so DuQuesne is getting all the xp and etc from my GMing Dead Suns up to book 4, and now can move up to level 2.
Dariox
|
Thanks for running, and that sure was rough. It really looked like we weren't going to make it there at the end.
| GM Wolffauer |
DuQuesne - Nope, nothing else needed. Download your chronicle sheet and let me know if there are any issues. If you are getting the XP from Books 1-4, you'll be on your way up pretty quickly! (Just need to hit the levels where you can apply the books).
