Nadia cut her teeth in the jungles of Ukulam retrofitting old military bases and equipment for use by zoological and archeological research. She gained a repulation as a no-nonsense problem solver and jack-of-all-trades when it came to mechanical and electrical equipment. She met an Starfinder archeologist named Arkady while stationed at the Waklohar's Expeditions encampment. They fell in love and it was him that convinced her to join the Starfinders. He disapeared during the scoured stars event and she has been desparate to find out what happened to him.
