It began as a dull day aboard the Clutch, Nakonechkin Salvage’s only ship and your home for the past year or so. Your boss, the vesk Nakonechkin, brought the ship out of Pact Words space and into some of the void beyond, looking for derelict space stations or the remains of forgotten starship battles to pick through.
Suddenly, with a buzzing chime, the ship’s computers registered a starship drifting in the region. Nakonechkin rushed to the captain’s console and initiated a scan. An image of the target ship appeared on screen: a large, ornate green starship with brass accents. It looked abandoned and ill-suited to be so far from the Pact Worlds.
Nakonechkin quickly pulled on his space suit and grabbed a set of all-purpose tools. This looks like an easy enough job. You lot stay here and keep an eye on the Clutch. Try not to ‘repair’ anything while I’m away. I should be back in a couple of nanoseconds. He nodded curtly and cycled the airlock to float over to the derelict ship.
Two hours have passed since Nakonechkin departed, and he isn’t responding to your communications. Something must have gone terribly wrong—and Nakonechkin might need help!

Gazigaz - Peff |

"Its been a lot more than nanoseconds and the boss hasn't checked in! Someone comm him one more time! Maybe he forgot to turn his on. Or maybe there's nufriends and we should go meet them too?"
Gazigaz spins in his chair absently hoping for a comm reply.

Dakoyo - Bigrin |

Dakoyo was in his room meditating when Gazigaz's voice came over the comms. Well, he called it meditating. A human might have called it "binge-watching vids on the box", but humans always got everything wrong. Dakoyo checked the time, and sure enough, Gaz was right. The priest of Ibra slung on his stethoscope and gathered his staff and equipment.
"This is Dakoyo, I am coming fasttime. We will go out into the unknown to rescue friend Nakonechkin and explore this new territory. I cannot wait! I don't know why he left us here, anyways. It's not our fault that the last salvage mission had to be scrubbed, just because Quonx pulled that lever! It was clearly marked with an alien text that absolutely said 'Please pull this lever'. I am sure that's what it said. Anyways, friend Nakonechkin needs our help, and help is what skittermanders do best."
"Speaking of help, Gazigaz, you should watch this ancient serial I was just meditating. It had a group of doctors that worked in a small room called an Eeyarr. They seemed to spend as much time in mating rituals as actually helping people. It was a neff ritual to give them power to heal, I think. Do you think I could convince Nako to try with me, so I could improve my healing powers?"

Gazigaz - Peff |

Gazigaz replies back over the comm "Drift...I'll watch it when we get back but ask Nako on the way! We've gotta give this allsix if friend Nakonechkin is in trouble!"

GM Ietsuna |

Just waiting of the other half of our adventuring team. In the mean time I will throw out a computers check to scan the vessel

Quonx, the Mechanic |
"Maybe he just made nufriends! Maybe the stuff over there is so drift that he just forgot about it! I want to see it!"
Quonx decides to scan the other ship.
Computers: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
She frowns. "There are 12 nufriends over there, but Nako is asleep! Maybe we should go wake him up and remind him he would be back in two nanoseconds! We should also remind him that coming back in two nanoseconds doesn't make any sense... he can't even leave in two nanoseconds!"
Open all the spoilers
"Let's go through the aft airlock, we might be able to force it open."

Nako - Art Burd |

"Nako isn't asleep. Nakonechkin may be asleep over there, but Nako is wide awake right here. Let's go wake him up, gree? And while we are there, we can try to make plenty of nufriends as well!" Carrying all her gear that she needs, Nako runs to wait for the others by the airlock of the Clutch, ready to go over to the Emerald Empyrean.

Gazigaz - Peff |

"Onward to nufriends!"
Gazigaz leaps out of his chair and heads to the airlock.

GM Ietsuna |

The airlock on the Clutch is open. You look across and see that the Emerald Empyrean is only a few hundred feet away. You could easily float from your ship to the other in just a few minutes.
A large golden rocket blasting out of a glass of sparkling wine adorns the side of the ship marking the air lock of the cruise ship. Beside the hatch is a small access panel.

GM Ietsuna |

You can float across. It is not strange at all. It is how Nakonechkin got across after all

Dakoyo - Bigrin |

"Time to suit up, friends! He who waits, loses, as grampa Queconix used to say!"
With a squeal of joy and excitement, Dakoyo launched himself towards the other ship's airlock.

Gazigaz - Peff |

Gazigaz hits the environmental protections on his suit and jumps out into the black, spinning slightly, all six arms pulled back for optimal aerodynamics that totally matter in space...
He puts two of his arms forward once they get close to the Emerald Empyrean to brace himself against its hull.

Nako - Art Burd |

Nako follows across the void, landing above the airlock doors and latching on with all of her eight limbs. She waits, ready to open the door by force when given the go ahead by the others.

GM Ietsuna |

The four of you variously glide, swim, spin and generally move across towards the target ship. It is as you are between the two ships that a micro-meteorite shower strikes and thousands of tiny pebbles rains down on you
Make a DC 13 Reflex save or take Rocks Fall: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 2) = 5 non-lethal damage

Gazigaz - Peff |

Just before he reaches the safety of the other ships hull, Gazigaz's spin sees him looking directly at the swarm of micro-meteorites!
He tries to tuck during his spin to avoid being struck...
Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
and manages instead to head right for them!

Dakoyo - Bigrin |

Dakoya saw the micrometeorites coming from the corner of his eye and spun in space, twisting and flailing to get out of the path of the deadly swarm.
reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

GM Ietsuna |

The four of you make it, mostly unharmed, to the outside of the Emerald Empyrean. You are at the large access door. A small computer access panel sits off to the side.
The micro-shower seems to have gone as quickly as it came.

Quonx, the Mechanic |
engineering: 10 + 12 = 22
"Yup, boss came this way. Probably. I'll get this right open."
Quonx sets to the panel. +9 engineering, +12 computers. Take 10 if possible.
my busy week starts today. Feel free to bot me as soon as everyone else acts, it's tactically convenient, or my PC can address the check at hand.

Gazigaz - Peff |

"Is it open!? Can we get in?" Gazigaz waves 2 of his arms, excited to get in and get away from the inclement space weather.

GM Ietsuna |

I am sure I posted. Sorry all
You enter the airlock and regather yourselves. Map is up. See link at the top

Gazigaz - Peff |

"Another door! Friend Nankoneckin isn't here either!" Gazigaz moves and checks if this door is open, maybe he's behind this one!
Gazigaz will open the next door and take a peek inside if its unlocked.

GM Ietsuna |

This square chamber has little in the way of furnishings, and the walls and ceiling are a clean white, while the floor is a silvery metal. Four cages are stacked in the two forward corners of the room. A heavy door leads into the airlock to the port, while a flickering holographic sign reading “Welcome Guests” floats over the door to the starboard.
Three robots hover here. As soon as you enter a robotic voice emanates from one. Error! Pets must be placed in approved carriers before boarding the Emerald Empyrean. Initiating containment protocols.

Gazigaz - Peff |

"Uh...nufriends we're not pets! We're here for our other friend, Nakonechkin! Have you seen him?"
Quietly to the others, "Be careful, these seem like they might not be nufriends...If they come, get that one!"

Nako - Art Burd |

"Hello! I hope that we can be nufriends, but if not I will have to bonk you." While she says this, she walks up towards the robot Gagigaz indicated, drawing her doshko as she goes. She then readies herself to hit it if it engages in any hostile actions.
Move Action: move down two squares, drawing doshko as part of the movement; Standard Action: ready action to attack the white robot if it attacks herself or any of the others.
Ready Action attack vs EAC (+Get'Em): 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 1 = 12
Damage (Fire): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Quonx, the Mechanic |
Quonx shakes her head. "I do not think these are nufriends." She draws her laser rifle and points it at the one Nako told her about.
"Don't come any closer or I will shoot you. Unless you show me you really are a nufriend! Then maybe we can help you and you can help us!"
readied attack, azimuth laser rifle, get em: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12
fire: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

GM Ietsuna |

White makes a grab for Nako, as it makes a grab for her she fires at it but the shot does not penetrate its armour. Gazigaz also fires at White and misses. Quonx likewise misses the robot.

Damage (fire): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
She then takes a careful step to the side, before swinging her weapon at the white robot. Taking a guarded step down-left, adjacent to both white and black.
Flame Diablo APP vs EAC: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 1 = 9

GM Ietsuna |

Nako swings at the yellow bot as it goes past, striking it hard.
Quonx, Dakoyo and Gazigaz all attack the bots but cannot land a shot. Nor can Nako with her follow up swing to White.
Black fires its pistol at Dakoyo

Dakoyo - Bigrin |

White is down Dakoyo. Did you want to move the harrying fire or revise your action?
I would move it, but I missed the DC so it doesn't matter. Just call me Cyril for now ("suppressing fire!!!!")
Dakoyo pointed his weapon at the yellow robot this time, closed his eyes and began sending little flechettes at the creature's legs, trying to distract it and open the way for the others to actually incapacitate it and free Quonx.
