Just picking out my feat and my spells... most stuff should sorted (well, except skills but that is mostly just increasing them by one... nbd).

I don't get inspire competence, but I instead get

Other than that and the above, I get 2 more rounds of bardic performance per day, another lvl 1 spell per day, and bonuses to attack and the save trio. Easy day. Should have the rest updated shortly.

I'm a fool and completely forgot about the 3rd level feat. I'll have to look through that and decide. I did have a list somewhere.

OK, finally finished.

Gained Lingering Performance for my feat (when I stop bardic performance, it continues for 2 rounds more unless I start a new one), Message, and Sleep for my two spells. Oh, and I picked up Celestial for my new language... so now I can translate the whole book in my spare time.

Hello, everyone. I'm sorry for not posting over the weekend: narrowly avoided catching my death on Friday night, and have been very much under the weather since. I'm finally starting to feel better, so I should be able to start posting properly again as of tomorrow.

GM, I don't think Detect Magic would reveal the page's contents. Concentrating for three rounds, (the max), shows the strength and location of each magical aura, and grants a K. Arcana check to determine the school of magic involved. It wouldn't affect the actual spell.

If the AP specifies otherwise that's fine, but I don't want to take advantage of a misunderstanding.

Sorry for not saying sooner, but Dorian just passed by me and work was shut down this past week because of it. We weren't really hit but I ended up spending the time off with family and didn't have a chance to post. Should be back to usual now.

Well, knocking on wood but it seems to have passed us with not too much damage. We got a decent amount of rain and the winds caused us to lose power for about 5 or 6 hours (not too bad restoral times under the circumstances) but we are back up and running again now. Thanks for the well wishes.

Heh, Pellius is rocking out here... and will keep doing so to keep you guys covered. Suffice to say that he is playing songs and taking requests while Adonara and anyone with her have their chat outside. I might post more about that if need be, but I am content to hold off posting long things for bit so that others can have the spotlight, ;)

Oh, please do post away. I'm not musical at all, so I get my kicks in that line vicariously, and I'm also quite enjoying the actual music you're finding to elaborate your descriptions of what Pellius is getting up to. :)

Once again, posting in all my games: Baby boy was born yesterday afternoon! 7 lbs 4 ozs. Mom and baby are doing fine, but won't be ready to come home until tomorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes!

I want to apologize for not being around. Someone has hacked a good number of my accounts and I've been dealing with getting fraud charges over turned this past week. I hope to have everything sorted by the start of next week.

Yikes! I can only begin to imagine! Like our fearless GM said, I hope everything works out with a minimum of further trouble and no other nasty surprises. My dad had something similar happen to him once, but luckily for him someone noticed it soon enough that it wasn't too frightful to sort out.

Right, since our rebellion won’t run itself, on that side of things. Getting the attrition out of the way, I realize my notes were out of date: I think we were at 15 followers, so should have gained a couple of ranks that we didn’t record (I forgot to include the rescued prisoners on top of our own efforts), but we can sort that after this bunch of rolls. I’ll use the lower numbers for now: Loyalty DC 10: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 Waverers lost: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Hmm. That leaves us with 12 followers and two rolls going forward, I think. I would suggest recruiting still more followers, and then a team of specialists. Since so far everyone’s been indulgent with Adonara’s penchant for sneaking around, while I know Lodoro at least might prefer something a bit more honourable, shall we try for some freedom fighters? We could give the tieflings more help to set up a neighbourhood watch that also doubles as additional agents of the Silver Ravens.

If that’s agreeable to everyone, would Pellius and Lodoro care to do the honours, as our golden boy chief recruiter and long-suffering sensible chap, respectively? Likewise, that would be a DC 11 check on 1d20+5 (if successful, rolling another 2d6+3 for the new followers), and DC 15 on 1d20+7 (which includes Adonara’s strategist bonus).

Once we sort out what we're doing, I'll make sure to update our rebellion notes properly this time.

@Pellius- no real plans to replace them. The AP is designed for 4 anyway and we seem to have a good mix. That said if people want I am willing to recruit 1 more player.

That is fine, and I am fine with it either way. That being said, if we were, say, tallying for a vote... my vote would be to get a fifth. Not jumping up and down insisting on that, mind you... just would be my vote if we were. ;)

What does everyone else think?

I’m fine with either: for what it’s worth, although it will take a while to really get going, Adonara should play as more of a rogue eventually, including getting past locked doors and the like. I could prioritize suitable gear for that as we continue – mainly a wand of Aram Zey’s focus and something to boost her skills until she can sort getting Disable Device as a class skill.

On a vaguely related note, though it will only come into play in several levels at the earliest, could I get a ruling, GM? If the Prestigious Spellcaster feat is on the table (big if), would it be too cheesy to let it work with the Evangelist prestige class, assuming I chose warpriest as my aligned class?

(Depending on the possibilities, the difference is splashing a level of swashbuckler among the rest of the mess of my character plans, at some point, as opposed to just another level of warpriest. I'm not clever enough to have stumbled upon anything that would horrifically unbalance our game, I don't think.)

Sorry for the delay, I was really sick the past couple days.

When I was creating Kira's backstory I was working from the Player's Guide, which briefly mentioned the Sacred Order of Archivists and the rumors that they had been disbanded. I thought it was a cool potential hook for an academic character, but didn't really expect the Order to be featured in the story.

Now that it has been, I'd just like to say that I'm fine with whatever fate the GM comes up with for Aethilwald Namfoodle. Killed in the initial takeover? Somehow alive and in hiding? No one ever knows and the mystery is never solved? It's all good as far as I'm concerned.

Just spent some time going through our gathered loot to see if we had any healing scrolls or potions. (We do: 6 potions of CLW and one scroll of CMW.) In the process I realized we have the following useful items which I don't believe anyone still in the party has claimed:

Cloak of Resistance +1
Cloak of Elvenkind
Daredevil Boots
Masterwork Thieves Tools

Any takers?

Hm... I wouldn't say no to the cloak of resistance... that said, willing to pass it on to someone else if they need it more.

I'll take the thieves' tools, if no one else has any training in Disable Device.

I think Baolo had originally opted for the cloak of elvenkind, but that's moot at this point. I would hardly turn my nose up at it, but Adonara's already got the other big-ticket item so far, so it would only be fair for someone else to get the sneaky cloak if that's something they'd be into.

My vote for how we move forward would be to disguise ourselves again as chelish citizen's group members and see if we can't bluff our way further. Pel being the "face" doing a lot of the talking, Kira being the "leader" in charge of us, Adonara being the vocal muscle, and Lodaro (you are still here, right) being the not as vocal muscle.
