It looks like you have a little time while we wait for the others. Whoever you bring can have played one or two other scenarios but should be level 1.

Okay, so we're still waiting on one more player that had signed up, and we have room for one more recruit aside. I'll ping the expected member and planning on starting in earnest tomorrow some time with a first gameplay post, and perhaps RP'ing character intros through the weekend.

I think PBP is a great learning enviroment. You have plenty of time to look up rules and others can point you to the ones that you may or may not be aware of.
And CORE is awesome place to start. Only one source of information.
Okay folks, I hate to do this but can everybody PM me with your email addresses. We've been told to report OSP games early, and we don't roll for boons here. They will do the randomizing after I report it and email you if you've won a boon. Try to get this to me asap so that I can report the game quickly!

Per this post (and others like it) Paizo is doing some maintenance tomorrow and so we'll likely be unable to post for a good chunk of the day. My usual expectation is one post per weekday, but if some folks miss tomorrow due to the outage it's fine.
Hi! Just a heads up, I'll be away this weekend on a camping trip from Saturday early morning until mid-day Sunday (US/Pacific time). I'll be unable to post while I'm out there, but able to resume Sunday afternoon (so really only 1.5d away). This should be the only absence of your GM during this scenario :)
Not at all. I like the extra flavor your character brings. It's okay for a bit of silliness from a drunken character, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Nope, Erica is great too. I love all of the characters here and I'm not finding too much of anything. :) It's so much better when everyone tries to keep a character theme going and this group is doing great.

Hello folks, with gameday announced and a start-date of August 26th, know that I'll do my best to ensure this game ends by then, freeing up your characters for any signups there!
I ran this scenario for the last gameday, so I have a good idea about its timing. Currently, I think we're on a decent pace for this to be reasonable. If the posts slow down and I think the pace is in danger, I'll let all of you know ;)
Hey Theron, I'm not familiar with the re-roll boon you're referring to. Give me a bit of info on it and it's possibly okay.
Though I will say, you're all working ahead of this trog leader pretty well and if your boon is a one-time usage this may not be the tightest spot in Theron's career to spend it on :)

I would like to soon'ish, but I haven't had time to prep anything. You'll see something from me on the recruiting thread of the flaxseed lodge probably within the month (though I don't believe I'm running anything specifically for gameday, because I simply haven't had time to target that start date).
If you'd rather not wait for me, don't hesitate to check out the still-open tables for Gameday VIII!
