"There are supposed to be four corporeal undead dwarves as prisoners in the cells. Possible allies."
Kush the Kish
"Why allies? They are Undead just like the others. Maybe they just got drunk and are locked up for a couple days for that."
Robotic Droid Series-2
“Their loyalty was marked as unknown and they were imprisoned for approximately six months. They might want revenge on those who put them here.”
Kush the Kish
"Six months... not long in a life of never ending un-death, but not short.
Maybe, yes, they can make some havoc here, that will help us.
Shall we contact them?"
Botamo
"Dwarven ancestors who are dead but not with the other deadies? Shore go ahead and contact em' eh?"
Botamo
Botamo heads towards the cabinet, looking back towards Kush, "Can you communicate with Dwarven ancestors Kush? How different can it be from our own ancestors right? I mean you did just successfully communicate with some of the most well known Kish ancestors, how hard can some dwarves be?" he says.
"Now let's see what's in this cabinet eh? Maybe a key to these cells?"
"hmm a serum of some sort, some metal rope, a gun?, ooh a pile of ruby's, and.... oh well what have we here... these hosers found something good!"
Kush the Kish

Kush smiles at his captain: "Yes, sir! I will, sir!"
Then he will head over to the first cell.
Kush will shake the bars: "HEY, DWARF! DWARF? COME OUT AND TALK!"
GM Nefreet
Try as he might, Kush just doesn't seem to be able to speak with this kind of ancestor.
Next?
Kush the Kish
»Sorry, captain. The dwarves are too stupid to communicate. »
Kush is ready to follow the captain to the next room.
GM Nefreet
This room is dark. Only a few lit buttons and displays pierce the blackness, illuminating no more than the rough shape of the area. Panels of computer screens, bundled data cables, and digital readout displays line the walls, with more than a dozen chairs arrayed in front of them. The constant chatter of beeps and clicks accompanies the data streaming across every readout.
In each of the 16 chairs sits a cybernetic zombie, each wired into the control panels in the same manner as the cybernetic zombies overwatching the hangar bay. Unlike those undead, these zombies are active—constantly receiving commands through the cables from the consoles in the control panels, tapping on their displays, and sending information back through the same links.

The room is a confusing jumble of wires, noises, bodies and flashing lights, but Thrym and Kush spot a curious hatch in the center of the room. Opening it reveals a removable humanoid fingerbone with a miniature datajack on one end and a loop of nylon on the other.
Kush the Kish

Kush looks at the finger-bone: "If no one wants to use this, I would be happy to use it.
Would be very nice for cleaning one's ears...
...and picking one's nose, if one does that, for I do not do that."
Robotic Droid Series-2
That is not the intended use of this item. This is a datajack, it helps interface with computers.

"What is its intended use? It looks like it is designed to be worn as a necklace, or possibly a charm bracelet..."
Thrym floats on to the next area.
A4?
Kush the Kish
Kush smiles at Thrym, and decorates Botamo with the nice necklace.
»Here, captain! »
He then follows Thrym.
GM Nefreet
RD-S2 easily hacks the next door and the party lines up...
The ceiling, walls, and floor of this room are covered in heavy armored plates that show scratches and signs of scoring. Many of the plates seem newer and appear to have been bolted directly over damaged plates without removing the old coverings. Twisted, wrecked pieces of junk are piled up in the corners and where the walls meet the floor. Several pipes run through the room near the ceiling, with numerous valves along their lengths.
Oozing out of the wreckage are two very familiar creatures: Scavenger Slimes! These oozes used to prowl the underbelly of Istamak, and you are very familiar with them, but these seem to be more advanced... somehow.

We established this would happen, so...
Thrym tries firing the Assault Fighter's main gun, and curses when he realises that it is out of ammunition.
"Worthless unholy artefact!"
There is a chiming noise, and a hologram of Osteth appears from the unit mounted at Thrym's wrist.
+++You just don't understand how their technology works; I have tried telling you that you should understand what you use, rather than simply 'having faith', although I appreciate that may be difficult given the current technological level of the descendants of the Kishalee. Fortunately, I believe some of the stockpiles your group acquired upon the controller moon should be compatible with the weaponry of this vehicle+++
Thrym sighs, and bows his head.
"Yes, Ancestor."
He then starts rummaging around for heavy rounds, trying to work out how, precisely he is supposed to reload...
GM Nefreet
That caused a very much needed laugh ^_^
After some consternation, and divine guidance, Thrym is able to instill the miniature iron cloud with steel lightning once again!

As RD-S2 hacks the door open, AIR rushes into the corridor, jostling the flyer and nearly knocking you all prone. The air continues to rush out for several seconds before both the room and the corridor return to their vacuum-like state.
A metal podium with numerous controls on it stands in the center of this room. Padded, vertical beds with numerous straps and restraints fill the room, most with numerous stains and small tears in their padding. Each bed sits beneath a bright spotlight from the ceiling, which illuminates the room brightly. Four large vents are visible in the ceiling.

Kush uses the telepathic link that joins us all together: ++There is something trying to remain silent in the ceiling vents++
Kush will wait till Botamo moves on, and, if he does, Kush will move in just to the left of the door.
Botamo
Botamo steps inside and hears something above. He ignites his weapon in fire and says aloud, "For Petesake we can hear ye banging around like a hoser in there, come out before I cut you out myself eh?"
Botamo waves his hand and says "you want to come down and tell us what you are doing and who you are."
Botamo uses Hypnotic glow DC 20 will: .
As a standard action, you can convince one living creature that you are to be trusted. This functions as charm person (see page 342), but with a duration of 1 round per solarian level you have. When the effect ends, if you are out of line of sight and the target is not engaged in an activity it wouldn’t have begun without being charmed, the target does not realize it was charmed or has acted unusually unless someone else points it out. You can’t use this revelation again while you currently have a creature charmed via this ability, and once you’ve attempted to charm a creature, whether or not the attempt was successful, you can’t charm the same creature again for 24 hours. Your influence over the creature ends once the duration has expired, and at that time the target likely ceases doing anything you’ve requested of it. At 9th level, hypnotic glow functions as charm monster (see page 342).

It just occurred to me that hearing anything should actually be impossible everywhere on this ship, due to the vacuum. Details, details.
