Aralah moves into the room searching it for signs of the trouble. She sweeps the room with her torch and sees nothing suspicious or dangerous, waving the others to join her.
The group moves up into the room and Aralah continues north into the archway when the sound of glass shattering to her left draws her attention. Two stained glass angels leap from their place on the wall, turning towards the party with their glass body shimmering against Aralah's torch. Luckily for the party, all of them are able to react quickly enough before the glass angels hit the ground.

If those glass angels had their bearings, Aralah's shot would have likely been dodges. Since she is able to react so quickly however, she nicks the edge of one of the creatures with her first shot but misses with the second. When the first shot strikes the glass however, the pane is thick and sturdy and the inquisitor didn't pull the bow back far enough to get enough force to break the pane.
Mithralline's lance arcs towards the creature as she calls out, but her trajectory is slightly off and she is going to miss it ...

Sarela uses her misfortune hex on the angel closest to Laurel, starting her gigcle (tm) aftewards.
Sam's spell is the boost that Mithralline needed to close the gap between the glass angel and her lance. Shifting the slightest bit she's able to bury her lance through a large blue pane of glass, shattering it in the process. After the strike she takes note of the strength of the glass and even though she injured it, it is slightly less than she expected due to the hardness of the thick glass.
The angel that Mithralline didn't hit turns to face Laurel, slashing at him with two red glass claws. The first claw comes dangerously close to his face, but luckily his magical protection and Sarela's misfortune shield him from the blow and it misses. The second claw also fails to break his magical protection, leaving him unharmed. The angel then steps up to Laurel, closing the distance.
The second angel moves down closer to Mithralline and swipes at her twice, missing both attacks.

Moving into the next room, Aralah finds a wide stair that ascends to the north, splitting into two graceful arches leading to a balcony that rings this room. The banisters are all made of elegant wrought iron, with teeth jutting from the ironwork and affixed to the railing. Three hanging lanterns of cut crystal illuminate the room. An elaborate fountain bubbles merrily in the center of the room, spilling water down a series of stylized flowers into a wide basin below. Teeth have been scattered in this fountain, partially obscuring a colorful mosaic in the basin. Two archways open into a room to the south.

The feet to continue to the second floor is ONE tooth per TRAVELER!"
They all hold out their pliers, ready to snatch a tooth. Already being down a tooth, Aralah has flashbacks from yesterday's pain and bleeding from the traumatic experience.
