Eli misses his mark, and the goblin squeals at the appearance of the white-robed man. He looks quite pleased to find what he feels to be a softer enemy.

No office Eli, just...the robes...


The archer goblin, seeing the room now completely cramped, drops his bow. He laughs maniacally as he takes the only attack he can think of, and lunges forward to try and yank down Madir's pants.

With a grown, Gruhx climbs up onto the landing, trying to squeeze into the small space.

Rope in hand, he hunches over to look into the room. "Yas do gud in 'dere?"

So...does the walkway hold? Or does it collapse under Gruhx?

In a desperate attempt to help his companions, the massive man twirls the rope around and sends it across the room towards the goblin in the far corner.

As the goblin tugs on Madir's trousers, the much taller Fetchling swats down with his blade, managing to cut the majority of the little creature's head clean off. It falls back with a wet smack as its brains spill out.


With only one goblin remaining, and that one well and truly surrounded, he throws down his blade and puts his hands up over his head.

Goblin:
No hurts! Me give up, give up!

Gruhx, you can revise your action if you like; Madir's AOO would have gone before your action and taken your target out.

Clamping his eyes closed and covering his ears, Gruhx shrieks "CAREFUL!!! BEASTY CASTS SPELL!"

Oren keeps the pick ready, though he lowers it somewhat. Should have had Shale teach me some goblin. Burnin' things are hard to understand at the best of times.

"Hey," he says to the goblin, trying to get his attention. "Do you speak common?"

If the creature doesn't, then Oren will pull out some rope and tie the creature up to the best of his ability.


The goblin jabbers on nonsensically...even to those who speak goblin. He seems traumatized by the combat now, of course, but also from something else...he was scared even when you got here. He allows himself to be tied up with no complaints.

Elsewhere within the village, you hear more goblin shrieks and warcries...quite a few of them.

I feel it's important to note that by the time the gang is ready to move further, Madir will have fixed his entagled situation. :P

Madir moves out of the building through the north door and has Black scout the vicinity one more time, telling him to return immediately if he sees goblins, to ascertain where exactly they could be.

Finishing with the goblin, Oren turns to follow Madir. "What is going on around here? Did someone attack before us? Keep your eyes and ears sharp."

Slowly lowering his hands and opening his eyes, Gruhx smiles. "Ok na-ow, yes?"

Hopping down from the platform, he stows the ladder and wanders along next to it. "You know where are?"


Black returns and conveys some ill news. There are two more groups of goblins approaching - one from the south and another from the east. Both groups are coming armed.

Madir conveys this news to the rest of the group and points out the walkways they can expect company from.
"Whatever happened here, there are more coming now. Get ready." Madir sticks close to Gruhx. and if possible, behind Gruhx so he doesn't have to risk his 2 HPs on the frontline

Make sure that you mention the need for healing early and often. It's hard to tell what information is accurate, especially when it's later on after a fight.

Pick still in hand, Oren makes his way onto the crowded walkway (hallway?) to get a look at the on-coming threat.


Oren ventures out, and makes note of where the enemies will come from. They will be in view momentarily, if Black's reckoning of distance is akin to a humanoid's.

You figure you have one round to prepare before we go to new initiative. Anything you'd like to do? Eli, maybe a heal for Madir?

Tallvar uses his odd magics, seeming to draw from the spirit world in order to mend Madir's wounds.

Upon hearing about the advancing Goblins, Eli will move to the corner where the action will converge and look to see which threat is most eminent.

I blocked out the areas that have roofs - these are actual small buildings with shoddy roofs.

Tallvar moves up, not willing to leave his allies alone against the rushing groups. A few seconds is all you have to prepare before the goblins rush, shrieking, out of the buildings and along the walkways. These goblins don't seem to be as worried as the last ones were.

With a quick twirl over his head with the rope, Gruhx sends it hurdling towards the lead goblin (Red).

Eli steps up behind Madir and tries to aid his defenses.

Tallvar draws a bead on one of the southern goblins, and puts it down with a well aimed shot to its chest. The goblins behind it seem furious, and deliver blows to the now dead body before hurling it over the walkway, frustrated for it getting in their way.

Gruhx's whip lashes out and takes the same goblin, forcing it back to slam its head off of the wooden building behind it. Blood flows as its skull cracks from the blow.

Eli follows behind and tries to distract the goblin facing them.

Madir and Black lead an assault on the now staggered goblin to the east, but to no avail. The goblin stands and swings nearly blindly at the closest thing to it - Madir. It hits, slashing along Madir's upper arm.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

The other goblins move into place - the two from the south moving up to attack Tallvar, while those to the east push their staggered friend aside to move in. In so doing, they knock him off of the walkway. The one in the lead swipes at Madir, but Madir is able to parry away the rusty blade

2 Damage to Madir. Two goblins down, and the rest moved up, some with double moves to get there.

Seeing the duo of goblins trying to flank the group, Gruhx steps back and twirls the rope around again...smacking another goblin across the mouth.

Madir shifts his stance somewhat, prioritizing safety over offense, and both him and his bird attack again!

Eli calls upon his god to heal Madir, their front line defense.

Oren blasts away, but is off target as the goblins rush their front lines, and he misses

Seeing that Madir is facing the onrushing foes, Tallvar uses his odd power on the lead goblin in line, forcing a connection that clouds the little creature's thoughts.

Gruhx heaves his big rope over his head and lashes out, taking down another goblin with the heavy end of it. The creature flies over the side of the walkway and lands in mud, face down, neck probably broken.

As Eli heals him back to ful!, Madir and Black assault the goblin before them, but the little creature darts around the attacks with luck, not skill.


The goblin to the south rushes at Tallvar, swinging his rusty little dogslicer.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

The one facing Madir slices again, this time trying to hit Black. As he does, he casts a fearful gaze over at Tallvar.

The goblin who was stuck in the room decides he's had enough waiting and moves back to gain a line of sight on the group. He then rummages through his belt and pulls out a foot-long wooden tube. Anyone who has seen the Sandpoint celebrations before recognizes this as a skyrocket...it flies straight and makes a boom!

As you survey the field, a wild looking goblin in armor appears atop one of the roofed huts. He sets up by dropping arrows at his feet and dropping to a knee. As he sets an arrow to string, you get the idea he knows what he's doing.

Eli helps Madir in his attack against the gobo in front of him.

Oren blasts the closest goblin, trying to help free Tallvar from danger.

Oren adjusts his aim to keep from blasting Tallvar, and unfortunately that adjustment forces his attack wide, leaving the goblin glancing around confused.

Madir swings at the goblin and, with Eli distracting it and Tallvar hexing it, the blow hits! The goblin stands, staggered, and barely standing. It tries to focus on Madir, but seems to be having trouble with that.

Tallvar steps back, hopping off of the walkway as he moves away from the goblin.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

He pulls off the move deftly enough, and reloads his crossbow once he lands on the ground.

Tallvar is now down and off the walkway.

Gruhx sweeps his rope at the goblin, but the little creature ducks under the whip, squeaking as it nearly takes off its head.
