Awesome, I'm glad to be aboard! Thanks for the pick Jack Daniels! Pretty good drink by the way :P
I believe my character is completely ready for review. I always welcome questions and feedback (from anybody)!
Skalv will be a dedicated brute-force frontliner. He is here to take hits and give them back in an up close and personal manner. He Is also a pretty good face and has a decent sprinkling of skills from his ranger half that will help keep him useful outside of combat.
But above all else he is here to kill some freaking demons.

I am also in EST. I am available to post frequently during the work day (9-5) Monday-Friday, and am sporadically available in the evenings and on weekends.
I have no preference for knowing people beforehand, but I think Skalv hasn't had time to get to know anybody in town yet. So I vote we don't know each other, but I have no problem with the alternative.
When I get to my laptop I'll check other traits. I do remember I was debating another trait, but can't recall what it was right now.

Ah the other trait was stolen fury, which actually fits Skalv's background perfectly. Unfortunately the mechanical bonus would probably be worthless since I don't plan on taking combat maneuver feats.
Exposed to awfulness also works rather nicely.
Thoughts? I haven't checked the traits of the others yet.

I am also on EST (in NYC). While Touched by Divinity fits UU like a glove, I could switch that to Exposed to Awfulness, if need be, with only some tweaks to her background. The others I don't think really fit her. If I'm not mistaken, 'Mel' and Angahaar have locked up Riftwarden Orphan and Child of the Crusades, so those are off the list.
Skalv, let me know if you are willing to change or I should.
I vote for the characters meeting for the first time at Defender's Heart. I always enjoy first meetings. :)

Touched by Divinity seems to fit your character better than mine. I will switch. I'll see if the GM has any thoughts before deciding to go with Stolen Fury or Exposed to Awfulness. While both work seamlessly with Skalv's background, Stolen Fury fits a little better...I just wish the bonus weren't so useless.
Melchesiech your header is definitely out of date. I really hope you don't have 8 hp at level 3 :P

I’m in PST. Given that Angahaar has been in Kenabres his entire life, he’d probably know people that weren’t new to the town. I’d be open to having known people before but meeting at Defender’s Heart is fine too.

Yeah, I only updated part of the header. Since I don't expect to be in melee anytime soon that was a lower priority.
I'm in CST (greater Chicago area). Meeting everyone for the first time at Defender's Heart sounds good to me as well, although some of us may have seen each other in the post-attack chaos.

Makes sense. In my story, UU doesn't make it to Defender's Heart until some time the next morning after the attack. She comes in with a returning crusader patrol. She would be either memorable or unrecognizable - stinking and covered in filth from hiding in a sewer, and sporting a number of non-life-threatening wounds.

I think Exposed to Awfulness' bonus save is tough to beat. My opinion.

I've updated my header, but still have to buy gear and take care of a few other odds and ends. GM JD, do you have the Gameplay thread set up yet?
ETA: one other question--per Table 12-4, we start out with 3000 gold?

Yes I believe we start with 3000 gp.
GM, Angahaar and I were trying to figure out the formula for hp when you take favored class bonus into account. Could you assist? I think with a d10 hit die and a con of 14, it should look like this:
3d10 (levels) +6 (con) = 36
36*75% = 27 hp
3d10 (levels) +6 (con) +3 (favored class) = 39
36*75% = 29.25 hp (round down to 29)
Does that seem accurate or am I missing something?

            Ohhhhhh
Ok. I got it now.
Actually Anghaar your math is still off. You actually have 1 more hp than currently, it should be 34. I think you rounded down on 75% of your hit die at both levels 2 and 3, but according to JD above you get to add up all your HD after level 1 before taking 75%
1st level 10 (hd) +2 (con) +1 (favored class) = 13 hp
2nd/3rd level 15 (hd) +4 (con) +2 (favored class) = 21 hp
Total = 34 hp
Skalv's calculations are exactly the same except for the lack of flavored class bonus, leaving him at 31. Which is 4 lower than I had it.
Udaya your hp looks correct assuming you're not putting your FCB into it.
Melchesiech your health seems lower than it should be.
1st level 8 (hd) +1 (con) = 9 hp
2nd/3rd level 12 (hd) +2 (con) = 14 hp
Total = 23 hp (FCB bumps this up to 26 hp)
