@GM - yes, thank you. I only used 1 round the previous fight and am now on the 3rd round for this fight, so 4 rounds used total. This is probably the last round I will use for this fight, save the last 2 for another possible fight.
@Yagajimoro - you probably don't provoke from the whip-user unless he has Advanced Whip Mastery and therefore BAB +5.
@Lunevi - Inspire Courage is still active and adds +1 to hit and damage.

The Balrog continues Inspire Courage and hacks at the elemental, but in his zeal his strike goes wide.
Attack, Bless, IC: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 8
Damage, IC: 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12

He will not continue IC after this round so only add it to this round's attacks.

The Dragon's Demand

Nirion provoked the attack of opportunity from the elemental with his movement, so Yagajimoro won't be facing any.

The man with the whip reels backwards as Salvadore's missile darts around his hostage and strikes him in the side.

As Nirion moves towards the middle aged man with the whip, the small creature made of rocks swings it's hard little fists at the cleric's legs. There is an unsettling crack as the creature connects, but despite the pain shooting up his legs he continues to bound towards his opponent.

Slam: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 - 1 = 22
Bludgeoning damage: 1d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 1 = 10 10 damage to Nirion

Nirion's blade slices into the older spellcaster's slide. The man reels backwards in pain as he finds himself boxed in on both sides by swordsmen.

The Balrog's sword slides off rocky monster's stony hide harmlessly. Kala and her wolverine team up to take down the summoned creature. The huntress knocks a chunk of stone off its body with a nasty back swing. Stinky's claws, perfect for digging through dirt, manage to burrow a small hole into the earth monster. Lunevi follows up with a powerful blow from her quarterstaff, but the elemental remains standing and attempts to retaliate against Kala, punching her in the abdomen with two very small, but very hard fists.

Slam: 1d20 + 6 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 1 - 1 = 22
Bludgeoning damage: 1d6 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 + 1 = 11 11 damage for Kala

The older spellcaster steps back against the wall and tosses his whip to the ground. Ducking under Yagajimoro's sword, he attempts to cast a spell. A three foot long blade of red flame forms in his hand, which he waves around wildly at the his approaching foes.

Kala and Stinky finish off the summoned monster, which shortly afterwards melts back into the stone.

When his scarf is pulled down, the yellow eyed man is revealed to have sickly looking green skin and a mouth full of jagged teeth. He appears to be some type of tiefling. He has on him a potion of cure light wounds and a suit of masterwork studded leather.

The tall Vudrani woman also has a potion of cure light wounds in a bandolier and is wearing a masterwork chain shirt. There is also an antitoxin and 4 sunrods stuffed into that bandolier.

The older man is wearing [/i]+1 studded leather armor[/i] under his heavy robes. His whip is masterwork quality and he also a scroll and a tanglefoot bag tucked into his belt.

Each of the agents has a bronze Aspis badge and a few coins in their pockets, along with some mundane items.

To the east, the mountain shaped dome rises.

In addition to the man being used as a human shield, there are three more slaves who are working away at the iceberg with picks. None of these individuals are dressed well enough for this kind of work, but they are all covered in sweat. As they see you approach, they drop their picks. One of them points to an open door leading into the domed room.

You should be able to stabilize any of these Aspis agents you want to. No one was so badly injured that you wouldn't be able to save them.

There are four individuals, all young human males. Three of them look like they are Varisians, while the fourth appears to be Shoanti. The most confident of them, a short, good looking youth with violet eyes, introduces himself as Payter.

"The last one's in there. She's kinda spooky, like she's a witch or something but we saw you cut your way through Graestos and his cat and Vivendi so I'm not worried you won't be able to take her. If that does not work, we will be in the right place to get the best minds of the Pathfinder Society to work on figuring out how to bring you back to our world. The newly liberated men pick up some of the weapons you didn't claim from the fallen Aspis agents. One of them thinks to pull of an Aspis agent's boots, and the begin to follow suit, taking gloves, scarves, and coats off their former captives until they are all more suitably dressed for the cold weather.

A row of columns lines the inside of this tall, thin dome, each decorated with intricate carvings. The walls are completely covered in flowing script, etched into the red-brown stone with the delicacy of fine calligraphy. In the room’s center, amassive mountain of bronze rises nearly thirty feet. Several crates are visible on the south side of the stylized mountain, opposite the stepped entryway. The flicker of an unseen flame illuminates the room in dim light, the shadows shifting as if
something were moving in front of its source.

Out of the shadows steps a middle half elf woman with dark skin. In each of her hands she is holding a crumpled sheath of papers.

In a thick Vuldrani accent the woman sighs and begins speaking. "You look like you're the intruders. Would you all be kind and die quickly please? I have a lot of work I need to get back to."

I think I heard someone say a quill is mightier than a sword, but that always sounded stupid. But now, paper is mightier than a sword?
Yagaji shakes off his confusion and swiftly lays a hand upon his wounds, before clambering over the crate to get at the scroll-wielding caster.

Lunevi flinches at the particularly vicious looking wound - who would've thought paper could do such damage? She moves swiftly, dropping her crossbow in favor of her spells. She places a hand on the nearest part of Yagajimoro and murmurs, "կարող ալիքները մաքրում է եւ բուժել ձեզ."

It might not be immediately relevant, but given the paper surprise, she doesn't want to take any unnecessary risks.

The woman attempts to block Nirion's blow with her other scroll, which stiffens like a metal sheet, but his blade cuts through it, slicing the scrollmaster's arm. The woman takes a stab at Nirion with her paper sword in retaliation, slicing into his side. The scroll in her hands crumbles apart and as she steps backwards she draws another from her bandolier.

Stinky scuttles in close to the half-elven woman, within licking distance of her ankles. Aww! She's up against the wall. Sorry, Kala, I can't flank her. But I can still bite her! Salvadore's magic missile strikes the scroll master, but only seems to irritate her. Facing Yagajimoro, she tries to block his sword with her scroll shield, but his blade cleaves through the parchments, shredding the scroll and delivering a long slash to her torso. With a cry she falls to the ground, clutching her bleeding wound.

"You will all suffer...for this..." she mutters as she slips into unconsciousness.

In interior of the sanctum out brass mountain is filled with crates of religious artifacts and piles of palm frond books and scrolls. The southern portion of the room is brightly lit with two everburing torches and an oil burning lantern sitting on a desk that is piled high with papers. It appears that the artifacts that have been looted from the fortress have been gathered here to be appraised and packaged for moving.

Carved onto walls are legendary scenes, filled with heroes, maidens and six armed fiends. In the center of the room is an elaborately decorated brass mountain. The mountain is hollow, with a narrow ten foot tall archway. The desk has been pushed in front of the archway but you can see that the inside of the brass mountain is covered with a gem encrusted mosiac pattern. In the center of the hollow mountain is an eight foot tall statue of Ragadayn, the monkey god.

), silver Aspis badge.

Yagaji will make certain the woman is stabilized before moving on to searching the area. He grabs one of the everburning torches, and when he feels no heat coming from it, he waves a hand over it, before clasping the burning end and laughing with delight. Then, anyone who's watching sees an idea come into his head and he places the everburning torch under his chin.

"Look! I'm on fire!" Then he quickly removes it and reassures the party he wasn't actually on fire. Of course, he's completely forgotten about searching the temple.

Sardonically, Kala mutters: "Yeah, I'm sure we will," as she crouches to touch the woman and cast Stabilize. It then occurs to her that she left her pack in the other room. After retrieving it, she pulls out her rope and hog ties the scroll master, casting Stabilize again once she's finished, just in case.
