Seems like a pretty good time for a reroll.
Will Save: 1d20 ⇒ 14
For a moment, it seems that Ylosani is going to succumb to the magical flash. Then, his beak squares his eyes blink and then narrow dangerously.
"If you would do harm serpent, harm me! Leave my companions be!" he says, challenging the mechanical snake.
Yet, when he steps up to strike, it is at the individual who did magic.

Seeing the spray begin to affect Courage he uses their bond to shunt off the effects.
(Share Will) Will 14: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 2 = 18 Courage passes his check through Altovin (assuming that was Color-Spray which is mind affecting).
After focusing back on reality he looks towards the fight.
"Stay with Yanda, Courage!" he calls out before moving up.
Courage will stay on Yanda's shoulder providing Guidance each turn.
Wanting to leave room for Dasus to Altovin begins to call for guidance from another plane. Wisps of energy begin to rotate around him.
Begin casting Summon Monster 1.

I again find myself at a loss for the rules of how pulling Dasus back would work.
I suspect anything you did that actually moved him from his square would provoke an AoO but you could knock him down (with a trip) and then someone could stand over him in the same square.

Was worried about that. At least stunned isn't helpless so they can't Coup De Grace him and I can just keep whacking him with heals.

Altovin's eagle appears and unleashes a dizzying array of attacks on the poor blue fellow, all of which strike home, leaving him badly bloodied. @Altovin, do you have any shenanigans that extend the duration of the summons? Otherwise, I think the eagle only lasts for a single round? Then the gnome moves back and draws a wand.
Regarding the question of how you would move Dasus, it would be a reposition maneuver, which would automatically succeed (presuming that he doesn't resist), but the movement would indeed provoke an AoO.

Summon Monster duration is based on caster level not spell level. Is Altovin a 1st level caster?

Tarrin Dars (Red) moves up slightly and waves her hands. "For Norgorber! For our fallen comrades!" A blast of sound, centered just behind Dasus, catches all the pathfinders but Romulus, as well as the metal snake.

The spell does only minor damage, however, and most of the Pathfinders shake off the stunning effect easily. Altovin and his bird are not so fortunate, and are both stunned. Altovin, you drop anything you were holding. The snake appears modestly damaged by the noise, but does not seem like something that can be stunned.

But this bolt skitters away uselessly.
Yanda now reawakens from the stupor that had absorbed her.
Altovin and Courage, however, stand still in stunned silence, while Altovin's celestial eagle returns to its home plane. Altovin's lifelink, however, continues to function, giving Dasus some badly needed healing.

Ylosani watches as Yanda's bomb lands...somewhere clearly other than where she was aiming. He glances back at her and cocks his head to the side significantly, remembering the conflagration they had to fight and fight through previously.
Yet, he moves towards those flames, slipping further into the room. He finds himself on the opposite side of the metal serpent than Dasus but the other man is in no condition to distract it or provide aid. Nor has the snake attacked anyone but Ylosani, himself so his oath to protect others does not provide him any additional strength of arm.
He lashes out with his sword at the snake, nonetheless.

The target of your challenge (the cyan snake) did attack someone else, but not until after your turn. So your bonus will apply when/if you get un-held. And the added inspire bonus is not *quite* enough to have hit.

The metal snake advances into the hall to attack...
Altovin 1, Romulus 2: 1d2 ⇒ 2
bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
... but his bite cannot pierce Romulus' armor.
Dasus remains blinded and stunned.
Purple swings at the reinvigorated Ylosani.
shortsword, flank: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15
... but these pathfinders are too heavily armored for this band of bandits.
Orange also attempts to stab the tengu warrior.
shortsword, flank: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 2 = 19
... and the Splinters begin to ponder the meaning of futility.

Romulus is up!

Romulus yelps as the snake bites at him and back pedals.
Niiice snake... good boy...
After stepping back he takes a shot at the thing...

knowledge arcana: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 to understand the snake. Looking for energy resistances or other weird defenses. Yanda moves to the center of the room drawing AoO from red and orange, then smashes a bomb on the floor at her feet splashing all the enemies except the cobra.
To hit floor: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27; DC 15 reflex ST for half, take 8 damage.
Didn't want to take a chance that I would miss - and 40 points of damage is nothing to sneeze at. :)
Ylosani
|
Ylosani flinches as Yanda fills the room with fire, yet it somehow misses him. He gives her a nod of approval at her control over her art before taking a step toward her.
It should help keep his opponents from being able to attack him from both sides but still give him the opportunity to attack them.
He slashes at orange to keep his attention on him and not on Dasus.

Yanda is certain that the metal snake is an Iron Cobra, typically a small neutral construct. The iron cobra is a simple construct that resembles a hooded cobra made out of metal. The iron cobra is typically used as a bodyguard or guardian of treasure. She recalls that they are resistant to all weapons (DR /-), have spell resistance, and have the usual traits of constructs.
Red AoO vs Yanda: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Orange AoO vs Yanda: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
The brazen alchemist runs around the battlefield as if no one could possibly hit her and then smashes one of her bombs right at her feet. Somehow, it does not affect her or her friends at all.

Tarrin Dars twists and turns and manages to avoid any harm from the splash, but the others are all wounded by it.
Meanwhile, Ylosani deals a grievous blow to Orange, who reels from the blow.
Altovin is up!
Altovin Prynn

"Wow, that is amazing Yanda." Altovin marvels as the flames spread perfectly around their allies.
He steps back heals himself while Courage now flies to the closer Romulus and provides him with guidance.

Altovin's magical link with Dasus heals him again. Now he has barely a scratch!
Romulus, Yanda, Altovin, Ylosani are up!
Ylosani
|
Ylosani does not like the fact that one of their opponents has disappeared. There's not much he can do about it, though. He doesn't really like the fact that two of his opponents are flanking Yanda, now, either.
He CAN do something about that, and takes a cut at the yellow brigand with his sword.

Romulus Arrowsong

Romulus gulps and backs up... this is not good... He makes a full withdraw between him and snake... maybe he can at least draw it after him? He keeps up his performance!

Yanda takes a couple of steps back (route shown with line), carelessly drawing AoOs and then tries to plaster Purple, hoping the caster is not right there.

Romulus seems to dislike snakes even more than casters; the drum playing archer moves to the back.
Yanda changes position and throws another bomb. (Yanda, as noted in Conditions, you'll need to make a Climb or Acrobatics check to cross the pews. However, since Yellow is down there's no reason you can't just move through his square, which I'll assume is what you did.)
Green AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Hapless Green flails at Yanda as she moves away but she is unperturbed.
Her bomb hits Purple squarely in the face, knocking him to the floor. (Can't bombs crit? If so, you've got a confirmation roll waiting for you)
Green Reflex DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Orange Reflex DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
The splash from her bomb knocks two more of the Splinters to the ground. Things are not looking good for the gang - the only member still visible on the battlefield is the iron cobra.
Yanda takes a moment to look and see if there's any sign of Tarrin Dars, but with all the noise and smoke and heat from her own bombs, she's not able to spot her.
Altovin is up! Remember that you dropped your weapon earlier when you were stunned and I don't think you ever retrieved it or drew another one.
Altovin Prynn
|
Yeah, I forgot to pick up the weapon but grabbed the wand. it was in another square, I forget which one.
Altovin begins to wish his weapon was still with him but quickly jumps back from the snake before healing himself with the wand. Minimum 5.
"Get that contraption away from me. Dasus have you come back to yet, I could use your help." he calls out his voice wavering but Guidance stays with him giving him Guidance.
