Blixa gives a slight jump when Raz pats her back. "whoa what the hell? More of those things? Oh. Oh! it is just you, Raz!" Blixa pokes Raz just to make sure he's not a hallucination. "Thanks! Who knew you can see the sound waves when you pull the trigger? Cooooool. Right?"

Raz offered Jaru the junk laser if he wanted as he covered the party's backs, but the thing seemed just as likely to blow off his hand as effectively shoot anyone. Granted, Jaru had a few to spare.

Raz shrugged and tossed the junk laser aside. There was little point in carrying the thing. He stacked up with Tony and swept his rifle down one corridor and then the other before crossing this intersection for the cockpit.

Raz tries to sight down the barrel of his rifle again but seeing Tony crumple. He breaks off to reach out and grab the ysoki’s tiny form and haul him back towards the others. He could feel the build of forces within himself as he stepped forward. The ghostly blue light of his powers seemed to star leaking from his uncountable scars.
“You may all wish to fall back to the other side of the intersection,” Raz said with an eerily detached calm. He was reaching for that truth that had so altered him. Tony and Jaru has had the unique privilege of being present for this twice already and now Blixa too would get a taste of just what she was traveling with.

"Finally," Raz breathed, wisps of ghostly light slipping out from between his lips and slipping out of his helmet. He rolled his shoulders and he stared down the trio of slavering monsters. The light leaking from his scars grew in intensity until it was blinding. In the silence of vacuum, heat washed off of his body and over everything around him as he persuaded the universe that, on a cosmic scale, there was very little to differentiate his skin from the surface of a star.
The rush of fire washes over the three creatures. But as the wave dissipates, the three lions are still standing, only singed at the tip of their manes. They lick their chops in sync, and advance on Rasalhague.

Spotting a spent bullet from the first fight Jaru gathers it up in waves of telekinetic force and sends it flying at the creature in front of Raz before dragging Tony back towards the airlock.
