2. Can they cross the bridge as is, or does it need more work?
3. What’s enexplored in the mill?
4. What’s closer to the mill: the stockade, town or shack?
5. Was Ibrox able to collect his one crossbow bolt, or should we not pay attention to ammunition once it’s bought, or under extraordinary circumstances?

Ibrox here's answers to your questions:

1. Sometime during this same day. The party ran ahead, but Bentknee should arrive today or the following at the latest.

2. The party left warnings, but currently the wagons cannot cross the bridge.

3. You don't really know, but no one has been down to the south end of the mill.

4. The remains of the town are inside the stockade. It is back down the valley along the road. The shack is a little ways further west near the beach. The town is closer to the mill.

5. Even Usable / Odd Broken: 1d6 ⇒ 1 Odd - The bolt was lost or broken. While we are in the wilds and away from the wagons, ammunition should be tracked.

Ok so it looks like my Vampire Slayer archetype from MHH doesn't effect anything until level 3.

So I should be able to just level up normally inside dndbeyond.

I have a question, and I admit that this is borne out through too many editions of too many games, and a few too many house-rules thrown in.

How are we handling leveling? Some options:

1) Video game: At the moment of experience, we all are bathed in a white light, not only gaining the new abilities, but also fully heal and gain all spells.

2) New on top of old: At the moment of leveling, we get the capabilities, but are not fully healed, and must take care of the damage normally.

3) New Morning: We don't get the new level until we've had a Long Rest, thus we might go to sleep hurt, but we wake up at greater ability.

Page 15 of the PHB gives no data, so I just wanted to be sure.


Let's just go with number one for now. Since this is PbP and it is already a slow enough format, I don't think there's any need to slow things down just for leveling purposes. If folks disagree, please feel free to say so as I really don't have strong feelings either way.
