So, I assume Trev is for the axe, yeah? Anyone want the quarterstaff?
The coins and jewlery we hang on to, but the armor and weapons we can trade to bentknee for whatever is of his cargo that can help the village (foodstuffs, etc) and then we give this to the village.
With the cheapness of basic goods and the expense of armor and weapons, we should be able to buy Bentknee out, and that will save us the trouble of carrying 10+ axes and chain shirts.
I’m happy to let anyone else use the battleaxe if they wish.

Still travelling for another week.

Finnigan Calhoun |

Hey guys sorry I have not been able to post.
Quite amazing that you were able to win! I am reading right now and trying to contribute but I am falling badly behind in every area of my life and having lot of anxiety keeping up with my summer schedule.

I just now see that we've no one that so much as uses a shield.
Trev, have you any interest in swinging the axe and using a shield? With the +1 you'd actually be slightly more effective in combat than your current loadout, and the armor+shield might be a nice change from the BUTTNEKKID that you recently were using. ^_^

Open Question:
There were reavers (3 I think) accompanying the slaves that we passed on the way to town. Did they join the fight and return the now-former slaves? Or are they still out there?
cheers

Ibrox Redcap |

Ibrox, there are still reavers somewhere up in the hills. They did not join the fight in the barn or on the beach, nor have the villagers they held returned.
Thanks. So, that's the next step...
cheers

XP reward for the Battle of Nargenthal: 950XP each.
Treasure:
Trollkin Shaman: Quarterstaff +1, Hide Armor (Needs repairing due to substantial fire damage), Silver Symbol of Ouroboros.
Gronar: Battleaxe +1, Chain Shirt, 3 javelins, 10GP, 55SP
Trollkin Warrior: 2 Short swords, Hide Armor, Ivory Beartooth Necklace, 25SP, Silver Serpent Ring
Bronar: Battleaxe, 3 javelins, dagger, chain shirt, set of loaded dice, Copper Symbol of Ouroboros, 5GP, 40SP plus Trevor and Finnigan's coin.
Other Reavers (9): Each carries Battleaxe, 3 javelins, dagger, chain shirt, 5SP
A variety of heavy clothing and gear, and one burnt, but repairable reaver ship.
Great Jabba the Hutt people stop being so nice! We need some people to start grabbing this phat lewts or we're never gonna get to spend it!
How are we even doing our loot log anyway? I'm going to assume that the DM is keeping track, unless and until he gets sick of it and tells one of us to do it. ^_^
Vrindel, please take the +1 Quarterstaff. No one else is interested.
Trev, please take the battleaxe. Ditto.
If either of the two above don't want it, we'll put that into our Loot Log and trade it later. Magic items being so rare we'll probably use it to trade for another magic item.
I haven't heard anyone have any avarice for MOAR LEWTZ so we'll just take the coin and jewelry leave the gear for the villagers. Haggling's a pain in the buttocks anyway.
So we get 15 gp and 55+40+25+45 = 165 sp
Zove, the good news is you can have all of the gems. The bad news is that that'll leave you out of the coin share. Seems fair, and that way we only have to divide by 5. Win Win!
Everyone not named Zove gets 3 GP and 33 SP.
We are left with a Silver and copper Symbol of Ouroboros, Ivory Beartooth Necklace, Silver Serpent Ring, set of loaded dice for the Loot Log to be traded out later.
Any other thoughts?

I just re-read what Zove wanted, and she only wanted the pearl.
Hence, the other gems can go in the Loot Log to be divided evenly when sold.
Okay, that seems better.

Vrindel |

Still wondering if the +1 from the Q-Staff stacks with the Shillelagh? Anybody know? I've tried to google search it with mixed answers.

![]() |

Seeing as how Shillelagh doesn't actually affect the +'s of the weapon--it just lets you kill people with WISDOM!--I don't see how it could not stack. Same thing with the d8 damage--since it doesn't directly interface with the +1 of the magic weapon, I can't see how the two would interfere with each other.
It's not like Magic Weapon that specifically makes it +1.
(I'd say just roll with it. =-)

Zove |
Yeah, the pearl is a non-consumed material component for identify. So once a wizard gets one they can use it until its stolen/lost/incinerated-by-enemy-wizard.
I didn't verify its 100gp value, but assumed. Also the purple sapphire is not listed in the normal gem tables so not sure of its value.
Vrindel, id say that 'becoming magical' and 'becoming +1' arent the same, but im not DMing! I think its just up to Tareth on that one.

DM - Tareth |

Regarding the +1 Staff with Shillelagh, I'd agree with others on this and say it will stack making it a +2 weapon if the spell is active.
For the gemstones, let's make things simple change the sapphire to an Amethyst. That'll keep things in the same price range.
I've tried to keep track of most of the treasure up to this point in the Info tab, but I haven't added the most recent stuff yet. I will try to get to that sometime soon.

Ibrox Redcap |

i would suggest not making Zove pay to for material component that he’ll use to identify stuff for us. So let him carry it as party loot.
Cheers

Ugh. If someone can work with math-numbers enough to divide by 6, go ahead.

Zove |
Thanks Jub, don't have the spell yet but hopefully will be worth it soon.
An extra 10 gp from the carriage lockbox, so...191.5 gp total.
Battle of Nargenstal + Carriage Booty
31.92 gp
or 31 gp, 9 sp, and 2 cp
to each 6 members.
3 unclaimed potions from that as well. Greater Healing (4d4+4), Hill Giant Strength (21 strength for 1 hour), and Acid Resistance (1 hour).

Trevor the Yellow |

I picked up the battleaxe :)
Can Trevor find a shield lying around?

Finnigan Calhoun |

Hey guys just want to let you know I haven't been MIA without communication, I have chatted with DM-T about my work situation. I might have to look for an exit strategy for Fin, which I guess I should have mentioned before treasure division took place but I wasn't entirely sure yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Trevor the Yellow |

Sorry to hear you have to leave us. I hope you guys can figure out something that works for you both. Be well!

Are we saying that Zone is carrying the potions, unless someone claims them?

Ibrox Redcap |

I've week long business trip arriving home Saturday afternoon. I may have some access, but please bot me as necessary.
cheers

Trevor the Yellow |

Thanks for the heads up.

GM Infinity |

Zove here. Im thinking I have enough forum's time to run something again. Check What should I run? if game.

Trevor the Yellow |

To be clear, I see Trevor as immune to the effect of fear, but he stills feels fear nevertheless. Does that work?

![]() |

Oh absolutely.
But none of that will prevent Aterro from making fun of him for it. XD

Trevor the Yellow |

Makes complete sense ;)

Finnigan Calhoun |

Hey guys, how is the game going? My summer madness is finally winding down so I'll probably read the last 50 posts for entertainment.

Finnigan Calhoun |

Tareth thanks for the offer! I didn't see this earlier as I was only reading the gameplay for entertainment. Tempted but I better sit this one out. Cheers.

Trevor the Yellow |

Everyone gets Inspiration
That can't be good...

If we ever learn how to make wondrous items, we should totally enchant that brassiere lockpick with the knock spell.
And the ability to transmute into an actual brazier or back again at will. :)
Oh boy... Brassiere of legerdemain... "Honi soit qui mal y pense."
