@Oxnard - Generally drawing a wand does not provoke. This is with the assumption that the wand is in easy reach (like a pocket) otherwise if the wand is not easily accessible it will provoke.
Rogarch takes the opportunity presented and strikes at Val.
On her turn Rogarch's wounds continue to knit (1 hit point healed) from Helping Hand healing glow.
She falls out of her rage positioning herself closer to Azaz (5' Step). She drops her large hammer to the floor. Flying out of her spring-loaded wrist sheath is a wand of Blade Lash. She elongates her spiked gauntlet and tries to trip Azaz.
Yeah- the RAW don't specify wands- drawing a "weapon" does not provoke "retrieving an item" does; every character I make has them in spring loaded wrist launchers, but it was unclear here where hers was, so I'm ruling she had to fumble around enough to open herself up for it

Since 4/6 have already done From Under Ice I'm going to look to replace that scenario later on.
Unfortunately we're at a tough spot because Hemmings isn't eligible for Mummy's Mask part 1 (it's level 1-2) and Nardic will lose eligibility with a single XP added I'm going to alter the order to accomodate as best as possible.
That means we are moving Mummy's Mask part 1 to be the first adventure in the shoot.
Hemmings- this character is too high level for the scenario, but we can have you play it on another character so you as a player don't miss out even if your character does.
Once everyone has checked in I will look to start out in a day or two.
Also, when you check in please "vote" whether you want to run the Adventure Path sections in campaign mode, or only complete the sanctioned sections-- I'm more than happy to do campaign mode especially since we are locking these characters pretty well anyways.
Once MM1 is complete we will have a low XP value of 4 and a high of 8, but I think this should work itself out and require minimal use of slow track to normalize everyone to the same level.
Hemmings player here. I understand about being out of subtier for MM1. If I need a first level character, I may have make a new one or use a pre-gen as my lowest PFS character is level 2.
It looks like the party could use a little beef or divine caster, so I could make a barbarian, druid or cleric to fill in.
If you think a pre-gen is better, I am happy to use one of those to fill the slot. Let me know your preference.
If it matters, I would vote for campaign mode. I have not played MM, but have always wanted to.

Hullo! That's a fascinating set of classes, hehe.
I wouldn't mind either campaign or sanctioned mode for Mummy's Mask, so if someone has strong feelings I'll defer to them. In general I like campaign mode.
I generally find that the pregens are poorly designed with very few exceptions so you're probably better off with a custom made 1st level if you don't mind.
Yes, correct- sorry if that wasn't clear! Any 1st or 2nd level character you want to bring is fine DoctorEvil!
Still waiting for Kuey/Galvius and Pirro to check in, and I apologize but since I wasn't expecting to start right at Mummy's Mask I need another few days to prep and then I will be putting up the intro--
Thanks for clarifying but my level 2 PFS character is a witch, and we already have one in the party. If ok with you, I will get bring a front-line fighter of some kind. Havent' had time to get to the concept but I will soon enough.
My first idea was this swashbuckler (rostland bravo). He is proficient with the Aldori sword and has the fiery temper and crass machismo of a street bravo. Eventually will add 2-weapon fighting feats to create a higher damage effect.

I need some help from the gathered hive mind.
I'm using HeroLab and I cannot figure out what bonuses and penalties are being added to my atlatl attacks. For my melee attack with the atlatl, HeroLab is imposing both an untyped -4 penalty. For my ranged attack with the same weapon, it is imposing both a -4 untyped penalty as well as a +4 untyped bonus.
I cannot figure out what they mean. The atlatl is a martial weapon with which I have proficiency. I cannot figure out what would give me a -4 penalty for melee attacks and a +4 bonus and -4 penalty for ranged attacks.
In my experience, Herolab doesn't make mistakes; I do.
I agree with that. I haven't yet found a bug in HL that wasn't my fault from a setting of one kind or another. It is an invaluable part of my gaming gear.
