Athrax please.

Athrax the Bomber |

And this is he!
I'm mildly annoyed I can't find his image in the system, but it looks like at least a few of the kobolds are in there. Ah well, this seems to fit well enough!

Varanog, Sorcerer Supreme! |

Got my guy. Even got a hat, but it will be a Total Party Kill trying to take it from him.
What is the actual tier for this adventure? Is it 4 only? If so I might change.
Player Name: Great Green God
Character Name: Natula Icosagon Thako
PFS #: 139009-4
Day Job: craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

Thanks for the invite. Let me go with Pethjun, the fighter then. I'm assuming we can apply the credit to a 3-5 character?
Player Name: kuey

Day Job: Profession (fortune-teller): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16
By the way, you can get the BB versions of the pregens here.

DebugAMP |

Dibs on the Bard!
Player Name: DebugAMP
Character Name: Unknown new character

I'm on business travel this week, but I'll kick into high gear once I get back into a normal routine.

Alright; gonna let ToZ get his character set up. Also, I might have a couple busy days ahead >.>. I'll put up an update tomorrow though.

Engashez, Sewer Dragon Diplomat |

Boarding my flight home. Will post tonight!

Engashez, Sewer Dragon Diplomat |

Been sick, will catch up tomorrow

Engashez, Sewer Dragon Diplomat |

Sick again. Please bot

![]() |

I've been fairly busy at work lately, so my posting rate will be hampered for a couple weeks or so. I'll try my best to make daily posts, but do not be surprised if I miss a day or two. Or five. I haven't abandoned a PbP yet, and I don't intend to.

![]() |

In case you had not noticed, I'm experiencing a bit of a slowdown. Not because I'm getting tired of Pathfinder, but because I am getting home rather late and posting from work is proving to be a little difficult.
I am currently employed by a biotech company that is involved in medical diagnostic devices. As such, the protocols I must follow are rather strict. The product I am working on at this stage requires that I run a test in the AM and then the same test at least two hours later. This test has run about three hours between prep and actual testing. And then I have been dragged into meetings about the next phase of the project, other people's projects, etc... All that to say that I have not forgotten about you, and indeed I want to continue/finish our game. But at times things might be a bit slow.
Thank you for your understanding.

Athrax the Bomber |

I totally get it, most of my posting is during gaps at work and can heavily depend on workload as well. Thanks for the update!

Varanog, Sorcerer Supreme! |

Pethjun can also lay a 10x10 sheet of ice, which becomes difficult terrain and acrobatics check to charge across. Not very game changing though, so not sure what's a good location.
Well, that would slow folks down, bottle them up in one place, and then boom! CL 7 fireball.
Caster level 7 fireball in a trap? I won't dissuade you, but if these guys are mooks, that might be wasted. Is this inspired by Explosive Runes?
Er, you did (or maybe it was the module?) above (see alarm trap). Killing 20 mooks in one big room all at once seems like a good investment and Varanog has scorching ray to fall back on.
Anyone have any better plans for the scroll?
If not, the alarm trap takes 2 turns to set up and the collapsing scaffold (see below) takes one. After Varanog is finished with those he sets his remaining blast runes. Anyone one have any ideas for placement (of the fireball and the blast runes) or aid in setting up (scaffold)? Somehow we will want to make sure that there are a lot people at ground zero for the fireball.
Collapsing the scafold? Certainly! One phase and if a medium-sized creature gets on they immediately fall down, taking 2d6 damage and ending prone. Of course they would get a perception check against that, but it would be a check opposed by the trap-maker's Craft (Traps) check. Anyone around the base when the ladder collapses will take 1d6 from falling debris.

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

I'll be going for a short vacation from Fri to Sun. I'll likely only be able to check my games intermittently so please bot where necessary, and sorry for any inconvenience caused...

Engashez, Sewer Dragon Diplomat |

With Outpost kicking off and no real end in sight here, I'm going to be dropping from this table. If this picks up in the throws of Outpost I'll be way oversubscribed.

![]() |

I'm sorry to see you go, especially now that my schedule has partially cleared up. But perhaps this is a sentiment shared by others? Would you like me to look for another GM for you to finish this?

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

I'm good to continue as is as I'm in no rush. However, can I have this chronicle applied onto a different character? I had signed up my original one for an Outpost game.

Athrax the Bomber |

I’m fine to continue at whatever pace, the character I had this assigned to is still good to go.

![]() |

Depends.... Broadly, what were you looking at as a time frame?
I'm hoping to have this done in the next three to four months.

Skyrahk the Destroyer |

I'm on no schedule for this. I'm good at keeping you as the GM.

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

I'll be away this weekend on a hiking trip and will have little to no internet access. Please bot where necessary. Thanks.

Athrax the Bomber |

Athrax is fine with falling back behind some of the traps. I think we were all taking advantage of the first few traps hitting to get in some good shots. But, if Pethjun stays up front Athrax will probably still keep lobbing bombs around. If he falls back, Athrax sure won't stick around.

Hello everyone. As you might have noticed, I haven't been posting in this thread for quite some time. This is due to a combination of things: no more time at work to post, too many games to handle in addition to real-life issues, and severe burnout.
I have made the decision to call on VC Hmm for some help. Thankfully, she has been able to enlist the aid of GM Tyranius, who will be taking over this thread following PaizoCon.
What does this mean for you? Well, you should be moving through all this more expediently than you have been thus far. And GM Tyranius offers some of the better games I have seen posted around here.
In the meantime, I will try to keep things going; but to be candid, it is very difficult for me right now.
I apologize for the trouble and grief this might cause you.

Athrax the Bomber |

I completely understand, it is a thing that happens. I am very thankful that you put in the effort to get a replacement GM so we can finish this out. I also appreciate you running the game itself and wish you the best with handling all the things you have to deal with, good luck!

Varanog, Sorcerer Supreme! |

Likewise to all the above (except PaizoCon--Grrr), and good luck on getting some time back to for yourself.

![]() |

/waves
Hello everyone. Paizocon is going to take a small bit out of me but at least the plane ride and few days there should give me enough time to get familiarized with the scenario as well as reading through your thread.
Thanks for the kind words GM Upaynao and I hope you find the time you need. :)

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

Thanks so much, Tyranius, for stepping in! Have fun at Paizocon!

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

I'll be travelling from Mon to Thu. Should still be able to put up a post a day but timing might be off from usual. Please bot if necessary.

![]() |

I have just sent your new GM some info regarding where you are at. If there are any questions, send me a message. I may not answer rapidly, but I will answer.

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

Thought to just have a quick discussion. So seems we need to hunt down the Onyx Alliance over here. Other than to start roughing some people up, I can't think of anything else. Pethjun has quite bad social skills though. Can assist in intimidate (+3) but that's about it.

Athrax the Bomber |

I concur, though Athrax is fine with the group trying to actually talk to people and find a lead too instead of menacing them. He was just trying to be tough with his 'stab people if they don't answer' post.

_Pethjun the Muscle_ |

Sorry but I would be on vacation from tomorrow for a week until the following Sunday. Please bot where necessary. I have botting instructions on Pethjun's profile page.

Varanog, Sorcerer Supreme! |

Quick note: Dragon whelps often have uber-powerful named rulers of shadowy otherworld cities.... That, and kobolds are more likely to work for true true-bloods (dragons) than go against them and none of our alignments are exactly saintly.

Varanog, Sorcerer Supreme! |

Sure, sure, but all this "we will turn this wayward wyrmling back to the light-side of the force" is not really Varanog's bag. At this point he is just as likely to attack or betray this bug guy who seems to know too much.
