M'Shak's sonic pulse dissipates throughout the room while T'Kai's staff dents in the metal exterior.

The red scanners scan the life forms in the room once more before slamming into T'Kai and shooting M'Shak.

701's scope definitely does seem damaged as another shot misses. Perhaps the trusty old iron sights would fair better. Shrec manages to land another blow as the robot scoots past.

Dropping her doshko Shrec pulls out her autotarget rifle she pops a single round into the chassis of the second robot.

T'Kai batters it's head right off with his battlestaff.

With only one robot remaining M'Shak sends jolts through it's core and it begins to throw sparks as it seems quite susceptible to the electricity based attack.

T'Kai forms up a disc of pure force which slices the robots arm right off as it joins the debris with the others.Scanning 701 for any weaknesses the robot finds none and burns a hole into the wall near the terminal.

With the combined attacks the remaining robot collapses, rendering it inert once again.

With the robots no longer a threat you may be able to review their most recent activation logs. Computers or Engineering.

With a bit further examination it looks like you may be able to strip the armored plating off and even their corona lasers. This looks like it could take roughly 10 minutes per robot. Engineering to reduce time.

Shrec isn't specialized in engineering, so he will short rest while the others are taking the robots apart. Those specialized in engineering could take them apart while we all rest. Then the engineers can then take their rest. At most we've spent twenty minutes, if we all work on them together each taking apart one and then rest. At best, somewhere around twelve to fifteen, cause the engineers would probably get those things apart less than halfway through our ten minute rest.

With quite a bit of help T'Kai is able to access into the robots last activation logs. The last activation before you arrived was many years ago, and it depicts a harrowing battle between a feathered monstrosity wearing an ocular visor and a bloated, toadlike behemoth. Initially, the robots rushed to meet these aggressive creatures, but their scans identified them both as izalguuns, and so the robots returned to their security center without intervening.

Meanwhile 701 makes quick work of stripping the robots of their plating and weapons to bring back to the ship before departing. Reduced to 1 minute each. The polycarbonate plating functions as vesk overplate II.

Peering into the hidden chamber that the robots came from lies six serpentine cables that slither forth from a squat pillar in the center of this room. Tread marks and the stench of lubricants mar this otherwise pristine chamber.

With the mainframe repaired, this room hums with rhythmic droning. The pillar here operates as an immobile recharging station that can recharge 1 charge to a battery or power cell per minute.

All that lies between you and the passage further south is another hour of sifting through junk to clear out the magnetically secured doors.

701 easily recognizes the null space chamber and sets the console to unlock the door to the east.

A small landing ends at a 10-foot wide conveyor belt that leads east and slopes slightly downward. The belt leads to others, all descending into a bank of greasy black smoke 60 feet below. There is a gap in the railing that lines the landing, but only the top two rungs of a ladder remain; the rest of the ladder is missing, providing only a vertiginous drop. The wheezing and clanking of machinery echo up from somewhere within the smoke.
