Tiff thoroughly examines the contents of the ship while reassuring her companions, "Magitech infused with intelligence will constantly fight you if your go against its defined directives. But my control should be sufficient for a search of the hold. Intimidation tactics work but must have the proper force of will to back it up."

Tiff conceeds the point, "Certainly possible."

She comments on Rose's intimidation efforts, "Threats of gonadal dismemberment are more likely to confuse the boat than anything. But good effort."

Violet throws her arms up in (mock) frustration. ”I said ‘please.’ Can a smart boat not appreciate manners?”

The ship does not seem to understand or show any visible reaction to the party's words.

Tiff searches the Bloodwind, with the remaining sailors giving her a wide berth after she eviscerated one of them, finding a whole lot of provisions, barrels and barrels of water and a red-brown chest, which she determines is not trapped. On opening she finds a spellbook containing the following spells:

Grease, shocking grasp, vanish, acid splash, detect magic, disrupt undead, mage hand.

Sorry he was a low level magus and really didn't have much in name of spells

Tiff smiles at her prize and says without context, "Tomorrow we're going to science the feces out of this." With a cheery salute to the remaining sailors she wakes up.

Just wanted shocking grasp so it's all good, even if it's judt a dream of it. :D

Once they’re back to consciousness and the real boat Tiff wanders over to Skywin and remarks, ”Dearest captain, since I have taken over mercantile duties for many of the passengers, I would enquire when we are to expect to encounter a port so that we may off load many of the treasures that they have been acquired? And to use those proceeds to fund various projects that said passengers might need to engage in?”

After the conversation about business, Tiff chooses a book at random, 1d18 ⇒ 6, Manual of Silence. She stares at her old nemesis, a book that had eluded her understanding for a whole three days, armed with translation notes from Violet Tiff dives in, confident that she has mastered the language of death since then.

Tiff finds out according to a folio regarding extraplanar undead, the ghouls of the Dreamlands are far more social— though no less wicked—than their bestial kin in the waking world. They have rich histories and large communities led by royalty.

She starts perusing the other books, the codex of the three prescriptions and the unified manual of understanding.

She finds out a discourse on the dread Plateau of Leng explains that a more powerful form of ghoul inhabits regions where the Dreamlands connects to Leng. These Leng ghouls are shrewder than their lesser kin.

She eventually figures out the proper phrase that allows them to use the Dreamlands excursion occult ritual to reach the plateau of Leng.

Tiff meeps triumphantly as she pieces together phrase that will allow them to travel to the Plateau of Leng. There was something tickling her memory about Leng, something recent, it would come to her if it was truly important.

She explains to her companions, "Right so vivus cadaver devorare, more commonly known as a ghoul, are highly intelligent but here on Golarion do not typically form complex societies. Not so for Dreamlands ghouls who have culture, history, art, and so on. The pressure to form societies more than likely stems from vivus cadaver leng, or Leng ghoul. A different species of ghoul who surely inflicts monarchical social structures on their kindred. We should be able to obtain a royal ghoul skull, oh! perhaps we shall kill a monarch. Again."

Vadrack’s longship is made of dark wood with distinctive red-colored sails. Can modify the Dreamlands Ritual to arrive near the Bloodwind.

Strange Aeons Grp 2 |

As the party researches more into the codex of the three prescriptions, the manual of silence and the unified manual of understanding as well as the Falling Silk, the party realizes that they have bigger troubles on hand. Rose visibly cringes at the sight of any of the books, and Piotr begins to sink down into dumps. Realizing that their memories are not the price of their party members sanity, Winter works on trying to heal both Rose's and Pitor's shattered minds, and urges the party to abandon their research.

Dying in the dreamlands will result in a lesser madness in the waking world. I had already rolled earlier for Rose and Pitor's lesser madness quite some time back

You may open up GM notes. Each 1d9 is to designate what lesser madness you get

Winter eventually manages to heal both Rose and Piotr, as the Sellen Starling reaches Cassomir. The party decides to start their lives anew, on a blank slate in Cassomir, letting their past remain forgotten. Ignorance, afterall, was bliss, as their taste of knowledge was a bitter one.

Winter finds a temple of Pharasma in Cassomir, and offers to take Piotr in as an acolyte.

Most people remember their time of madness as a Dark Time, but not Piotr Tataru. No, this lug will tell any that will listen that it was the best thing to happen to him.

Those days under the care of a particular Pharamsian cleric were a turning point. He realized what he wanted then.

Her. Simple, and wonderfully, Just Her.

Now, it would be great to say that the moment he was cured he dropped down to his knee to profess how much his chest felt like it would burst around her, or the rush of warmth to his face when he realized she was looking at him, or anything like that. But Piotr isn't good with words, and he still had his sister to consider.

Ann. She loved her brother, though she might stab you before admitting it. Growing up it was them against all. Now, he had another, and she knew she was in the way. He would never give up trying to save her.

So, one night, after she figured it all out (all the reading she had been doing had nothing to do with finding this great prize or memories. It was all about freedom). She wrote him a note (and another for Winter) and then... was gone.

Winter's said, 'Please take care of him'
Piotr's had more but its two main points were that Ann will always love her big brother and that he had BETTER take care of Winter.

He looked for her, cause what big brother wouldn't? But she was like a ghost (pun intended). But, eventually, he accepted their parting. He wrapped his big hand in Winter's and started a nice quiet life with the love of his.

Soon after they arrived in Cassomir, Garrosh announced he was leaving - there were many holes in his memories, but a recurrent dream would not let him have peace. The death of his father.

He realized how close he had grown to his companions when it was time to leave, Ann's absence took a bigger toll on him than he would ever expect, and Piotr had become akin to a brother. Yet he could not rest until he returned to the mountains to set things right.

There was no real plan, just a rage festering behind his eyes which he needed to vent and see through, otherwise it would consume him.

The farewells were uncomfortable and awkward, as if they were not supposed to really say what they felt about each other. And so they didn't. And thus he left.
