Scram bounces off of the fence hearing it creek and groan, then rebounds back with only a slightly bruised ego.
The zombie pounds on the fence again breaking through like a battering ram. The rotting wood crumbles to the ground as the little zombie lumbers through the wreckage to face Raiden. It reals back and hits Raiden in the side leaving a nasty welt. (16 damage to Raiden)
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 1d6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 4 + (6, 4) = 15
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 1d6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 4 + (5, 3) = 16
Anton charges the zombie.
Zayless fires two more bolts of energy at it, one of which seems to have an effect.
[oon]Im assuming you want to attack Anton. Just need to know if a Kai is spent or not. [/ooc]

Anton darts forward and brings the blade down on the pint-sized zombie. He reverses the sword into another slice and flips into a flying kick, ending with a punch to the top of the skull.

Yes, I’ll spend Ki on a flurry of blows.

Don't forget! Protection from evil and good! Undead should have disadvantage! ;)
Greycastle
Sorry, I forgot. The first attack was him destroying the wall.
Dadv: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
That seems still pretty effective.

end of round happened. The fence was still between you and the bad guy and everyone was separated. The necrotic tendrils affected no one. I had actions banked from everyone else so we flew through the first part of the next round. It is Ravv, Raiden, Sashah, and Uriah’s turn again. Just clarifying.
Ravvek the Avenger
No, I understand, but the tendrils take place at the end of the turn or end of the round?
Ravvek stays back and lets a pair of quick shots at the now-exposed undead abomination!
+1 longbow shot 1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

end of round and it happened. No one was affected. Technically Sashah is on a platform in the barricade so he doesn’t qualify for the tendrils and until the fence was broken they didn’t seem to be coming from the other side.
Ravvek the Avenger
I was more worried with Raiden being next to the abomination...
Scramsax
Hearing the fence finally splinter and give way, Scram dashes inside to chop down his half-cousin...Dash into flank

Dmg+Sneak: 1d8 + 3 + 3d6 ⇒ (3) + 3 + (2, 3, 6) = 17

Raiden was unaffected at the beginning of the round since the fence was still up. The abomination broke through and smacked him this round in spite of your protection spell. At the end of this round, you should be concerned about tendrils if next to the abomination.
Ravvek the Avenger
My hope is that the spell will protect Raiden. Worst case, he gets advantage on the check. Hopefully.
Greycastle
Uriah swishes and swooshes his rapier too and fro while making disparaging comments about the zombies small stature. The zombie seems to strangely be sad and a tear forms at imthe corner of it’s eye.
Sashah furiously takes notes while Raiden and Ravvek land multiple strikes onto the the creature. Still standing the tendrils reach out for those nearby one another. end of round

i just looked over the spell and I don’t interpret it to grant any bonus versus the necrotic energies. Sorry Ravv. The undead creature will be d/adv to attack Raiden though so that is good.

New Round
Scram darts in and stabs at the badly damaged animated corps but his blade is turned away by the creatures hardened skin.
The zombies reals back and swings it heavy fists at Anton and then a second swing at Raiden. Anton is clipped in the shoulder but holy energy seems to block the second blow at Raiden.
@Anton d/adv: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20 for Bludg/Necrotic: 1d6 + 4 + 2d6 ⇒ (5) + 4 + (4, 3) = 16 16 Damage @Anton
@Raiden d/adv: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 191d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Anton - Zayless - Ravv - Raiden - Sashah - Uriah are up.

Zsave just to be sure: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 nope, not a nat 20
Scram being so proficient at quickly stabbing things, uses the eopportunity to... stab something. The abomination becomes rigid, staggers slightly, and then collapses to the ground.
Everyone holds for thier breath a moment and then let out a collective sigh when it is clear that the zombie will not again come to it’s feet.
end of combat
Scramsax
Wiping the nasty, oozing, gnome scuzz from his blade "Next we burn it, right? To make the ashes again? I'll start the fire..." fumbling around for his flint box.
Myastan Zayless
Zayless looks about and continues to keep a distance from the others so as to not trigger more exhaustion blasts.
Ravvek the Avenger
Ravvek picks up the ladder and puts it up for Sashah and calls out to Raiden as he holds it for the sage, Is it down? We must reduce it to ash once again, right?
If we have time, Rav will put his hand of Raiden's shoulder and Lay on Hands for 10 hp.
EDIT: Anton, are you injured at all?
Sashah
"Zank you Ravvek," Sashah says after he has come down from his ledge. He then wanders over and begins inspecting the body and taking notes.
Greycastle
still working on the map
As Ravvek cautiously helps Sashah down the ladder a raven lands upon the railing nearby and caws loudly. Those in the pen look up at the bird curiously while those outside the walls see a group of large muscles men block both exits from the alley. They are all bare chested in some fashion and seem to have the same symbol branded on their chest. The majority of the men have a raven perched on their shoulders. One of them, not the brightest one by the looks of him, going as far as having a clearly stuffed raven atop his shoulder.
Doleful stumbles back away from the large men into the ally wit the rest of the party and gasps with surprised confusion.
another post coming but initial reactions are fine to take.
The symbol on thier chest is the same symbol on the Urn your party is carrying. It is the personal crest of Tick Tarry Tanner
Rasheman barbarians, yoi’re sure of it. Why are they here of all places.

OK I guess Raiden did not help Sashah down then and so would not have moved over.

Did I make the DC? There isn't one for the Emerald Enclave one...
EDIT: Ravvek is aware of keeping too close to anyone for too long, and moves away after helping Sashah down. He will wait for Sashah to make it down completely before moving away. Will make a Con save if needed.
Greycastle
appologies. The DC is 10 so you made the DC with your adv. Just remember you are in the pen and may not be able to see them just yet to utilize the information.
Ravvek the Avenger
Sounds good. Rav is helping Sashah down and then moving to the body to help reduce it to ash.
Ravvek moves to the body, careful about his spacing in regard to everyone else. As he crouches over the body, he looks to Soleil, Is there a proper way to do this?
It's about then that he notices the surrounding folk, and recognizing Tanner's mark, he calls out, Greetings, from the grove of the hunter, Icy Dale to the Bladed Coast. We are here to take Tanner home and lay him to rest.

Constitution saving throw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Making some assumptions that there are several bunched together...
Anton looks at the group of newcomers, briefly sizing them up. Suddenly he launches into a flying kick at the dumb thug. Using the momentum of the kick, Anton flips over dummy, hoping to knock him off balance, and chops at another bruiser next to him.
Flurry of Blows and a Stunning Strike.
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 bludgeoning, and a Stunning Strike (DC 14 Con save or he is stunned until the end of my next turn).
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 bludgeoning
Without looking, he thrusts his sword into one behind him two-handed, then whirls around driving his blade into the neck of another.

Ravvek is stunned for a moment, Anton! What in the hells?!?

Glancing at the men with ravens perched on their shoulders "...what are ya, some kind of arctic pirates, or..." after Anton annihilates all of them "...I guess some things are better left unanswered." drawing his rapier and joining the fray.
Stepping up into melee to engage. I will just take dodge action for now, but if they attack I might take a sentinel strike with my reaction.

Raiden Bartok
It's a legitimate reaction, we were just being attacked, I know Raiden missed that DC for sure. Plus I see that Rav and Anton posted about the same time. So I tried playing it off like Raiden hears Rav extend the greeting as Anton jumps in and gives 'em the beat down, so Raiden's just like wha....
Ravvek the Avenger
I'll buy that... plus, Anton was outside the pen first.

to keep down on the readied actions, I assumed that all four attacks were on the same two barbarians.
Anton’s foot hits the dull looking barbarian and he watches in a bit of a confused look as the monk leaps over him to attack a nearby ally. He jumps back as the blade jabs in though and his axe follows with a large overhand chop. Anton’s blade sinks deep into the allied barbarian causing a gout of blood to spew forth. The alliy barbarian looks at the gash and fury takes over as he reals back his maul at the man in front of him.
Anton takes 17 points of damage from the two counter attacks.
