Sparks buffets the Exile in a shower of shooting stars.

Jord suspects the exile possesses mystic spell powers, he also observes slight electrical current around the Exiles maul, which might imply a breath attack, and it appears the Exile may be suffering from the same diseases as the other locals. After quickly processing the info; Jord's laser riffle blasts a big whole in one of the archons, which explodes and dissipates.

Caldar backs up under cover and fires another enegry ray hitting the remaining archon. Moments later Uli somersaults by the archon and drops it with his sword cane's slash, the archon vanishes. Dr. Buse arrives and provides much need healing for Drogo with her mystic arts.

With his security gone, the Exile leaps from behind his cover, moving near Jord, an arc of electricity flies from his mouth in a cone shape. It covers Jord, Drogo, and Dr. Buse and it has a strange pungent smell about it.

Jord and Dr. Buse escape the worst of the electric breath, although Dr. Buse feels a bit of nausea, it seems to pass. Drogo however catches the full brunt of electricity. Sparks looks up at the ceiling, to where Drogo fired his laser, trying to see what threat the Vesk spotted that she did not.

After the fight, if Drogo takes a few minutes to catch his breath, Sparks will offer to heal his wounds.

@Drogo: if you take a 10 minute break to replenish your SP (or even if you do not, actually) I can offer to use my daily Healing Touch and cure 5 HP. It is just that I need 10 minutes to do so.

But, now, as the Exile falls to the ground, Sparks casts a spell, to Stabilize the enemy, preventing him from dying if he is not so already...

Sparks goes up to the Exile, and looks him over, to see if he is carrying anything special.

"What are you hiding, you bad lizard?"

And she checks to makes sure he will probably remain stabilized.
Asking her companions: "Does anyone have anything to tie him up? And maybe help me pull him up against the wall, to keep him safe but out of the way..."

Sparks glances over the computer screens and databanks that line the inner walls.

Jord doesn't hear anything.

Sparks examines the Exile, and finds he wears a graphite carbonskin, has an azimuth laser pistol with 1 battery (14 charges), a survival knife, and a credstick (800 credits).

Several of the computers seem broken down, but about half of the terminals are still functioning. Most of them are focused on surveillance of the outpost. But a couple seem to be viewing the planet's atmosphere, and a couple seem to display some data.

Jord actually finds it quite easy to retrieve information. This area was the control center of the outpost and the computers grant full access to the outpost's records. The video logs tell a tragic tale, a rogue strain of the Stardust Plague swept through the colony, wiping it out in days. The logs show the panic of the situation and that things got ugly as the disease ravaged the outpost. The Exile's own work can be found on the station logs, it details that he arrived at the outpost, cleaned it up by removing the remains of the deceased outpost crew, learned to access the systems, eventually learned reprogrammed the summoned security archons. Learned common, and had spent much of his time studying the Great Wawamba, attempting to uncover the secrets of how to be reborn as a Besmaran whelp himself. And that he hoped this knowledge and enlightenment would help him cure his people. The log also discloses his own struggles with the disease and his belief that his people's own original exposure to it was the fault of the Knights of Golarion.

Drogo believes it's possible the disease could morph and it might also be possible for you to contract. But as Dr. Buse stated it is curable now.

Sparks and Dr. Buse cast detect affliction on everyone and much to there surprise find that Dr. Buse detects for a latent disease, early onset. Although he still feels fine.

The Exile also has a disease as well.

Moving on with your search of the outpost to exit the southeastern door, and then into first the room on the left.

A medical bed stands in the center of this room. A plastic shelving unit that curves around the southern wall of the circular chamber contains an assortment of vials and random tools. Specifically, four mk 1 serums of healing, two basic medkits, and four medpatches are on the shelves. While a locked cabinet near the bottom shelf contains an advanced medkit, a spell gem of remove condition, and a spell gem of lesser restoration.

The room across the hall was the sleeping quarters of the former colonists. The room is mostly empty except for some bunk-bed units and remnants of personal items from the original residents.

The room at the end of the hall contains panels of electronics that wrap around this thirty-foot-wide circular room. The steady hum of energized computers gently drones, while lights rhythmically flash on and off. Monitor screens display live images of various rooms throughout the outpost. Most of which you recognize. The controls are an older form of hybrid technology and magical defenses; the hybridization was intended to allow easier access to the chamber
for colonists that were proficient in one or the other.

In the final room, rows of greenery line the southern and northern spaces of this fifty-foot-wide circular chamber. Curved plastic walls lead up to a transparent ceiling, partially obscured by chunks of random debris atop it but still clear enough to admit sunlight. Many of the plants contain fruits and vegetables and are still sustainable.

Sparks is very distraught about Dr. Buse being ill.

"We must take all the medical supplies with us, and use them if the disease starts harming you, doctor. Let us see if we can somehow bolster your immune system and help you fight this until we can get it cured."

The spell gems (remove condition & lesser restoration) will not cure the disease but can help if there is ability loss. The advanced medkit should at least help us with the Medecine checks to give Dr. Buse a +4 bonus to all her saving throws vs. disease.

"Otherwise, I feel we should take the Exile back to the tribe, and explain what is going on here, and tell them we can go get help for them, now that we know what is going on. And then return to Absalom Station to report and see about sending medical aid."

"The medkit should help stave it off. We should only use the other supplies if the worse comes to pass," Buse agrees in reply. She seems a bit more brusque than usual, likely because of the diagnosis and the fact that she is the one being given the doctor's treatment.

Upon returning to the village, she asks as many affected by the Wasting as possible to gather around her. "If you are okay with it. I will ease the pain until better help arrives." She then releases a wave of positive energy, then repeats the process with another willing group.

Using Healing Channel twice on the natives, which was said to help the pain a little. Beyond that I don't have any more actions here.

Assuming Dr. Buse makes a recovery you arrive back at Absalom Station, and provide your report to Guidance. Welcome back, Starfinders. The Knights of Golarion are eager to review the data you have recovered. I’ve prepared a list of subsequent missions that might appeal to you,
once you’re properly debriefed. There are a multitude of other lost outposts in Near Space, and with your experience, we hope you will take these assignments into consideration. Now, what have you to report?

Dr. Buse can give you the details but we ran into some disease, stardust plague?, on that outpost and she's sick. We need to get her to the medic and have her looked at, make sure she's not too contagious. Afraid the debrief might need to wait a sec.

Let's try and make sure our team is back to normal and we're not contagious to the station. Then we can mention getting some medical help back for the outpost. Ok?

Fortitude, Medkit: 1d20 + 1 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 4 = 21

Buse doesn't do so well dealing with the Plague, but (hopefully) recovers enough to allow for treatment by a real doctor. "This is why I take great pains to avoid sickness," she grouses a bit, but seems slightly happier to be back on Absalom Station.

"No need to die of illness if that was my wish," the kasatha says in a moment of levity. "Now, we can debrief and get help to the natives. They have lived with the Wasting for some time, but have done so long enough."

You make your report to Guidance, who immediately agrees to organize a medical mission to Colony-753. You find out later that the Knights of Golarion agreed to fund the medical mission after learning it was likely from there outpost that the disease effect the local populous.

Both the Knights and Guidance are please with the outcome and your outstanding commitment to uphold those things that the Starfinder Society stands for. Well Done!

Not yet one for field work, Buse takes a brief vacation afterwards. She brings a few friends to a fancy restaurant, stays away from hospitals for a bit. Despite the occasional pain and constant lunacy, the kasatha looks back on the mission fondly. It's only some time after that she realizes a question that had been nagging her subconsciously. Why wasn't that ysoki wearing clothes?
