I still have no idea how one of my posts came up as my base ID instead of as Carina. I know I've been setting that before even typing new posts.

So, that simple "hammer board over hole" task? I had this vision of the three of us up there, comically slipping over the roof and missing the nail. It was quite amusing in my head.

Well, given how poor those rolls were, maybe they won't even notice the arrow being fired.

Are we handling combat by having everyone go and sorting it out, or following initiative order? This is something I always say I'll ask at the beginning of the game and then never do.

I my honest opinion, I think that the GM handling the Initiative rolls, and dividing the combat in groups is way better in play by post.

I actually would like an answer to that question as well, before I post my action, seeing as I am at the bottom of the initiative order.

I apologize for the absence. Between the festive weekend, horrible weather Monday, and spending a large amount of time at the doctors Tuesday (I'm fine, but now on several meds), I found my energy for games those days, well, sapped. Catching up now, will post ASAP.

At level two, I'll take a dip in sorcerer.
Talking about numbers and battle abilities, it's one of the worst choices, but it really comes packed with flavor for role play and social situations.

So, before that actually happen, I just want to run down with you some things, to see if there’s any issue with them:

I’ll be choosing Bloodline Arcana, and from bloodline power a familiar, which I plan to take a Scorpion, Greensting. Seems fitting for the campaign and the familiar bonus is a good one for the character, being a battle controller and all.

I’ll get four (4) 0th level spells and two(2) 1st level.
Which I plan to take:

0th Level;
Prestidigitation (Best spell ever!)
Mage Hand
Open/Close
Ghost Sound

1st Level;
Charm Person
Memory Lapse

Do you see any issue with those choices?

No. Those seem like good chooses based on how you have described your character. A bit scary as for those you will use them against.

Due to circumstances beyond my control relating to various aspects of my life (family, work, and health) I am afraid that, for the time being, I must leave the games for now. I apologize for not posting sooner, but, as stated, things have gotten beyond hectic in my life.

I am sorry for any troubles this may pose in the games. I wish you all the best in both life and games, and who knows? Maybe in the near future I will be able to play with you all once again in a different game.

Hi all and thanks to GM Calvus for extending the invitation.

From a glance at the gameplay thread, I can see that you're just wrapping up the trading post's bandit fight (which is great since I've done that encounter like 3 times on other failed Kingmaker campaigns). I'll try to skim the rest when I get a chance to, to catch up.

@Calvus: Since you gave like a million starting gold, I built Weyland with a manservant(expert hireling). Pons is there to help Weyland in and out of his armour, tend the animals, set up camp. He cooks and plays the lute, all that fun stuff. He has stats but is intended only for RP purposes. Anywho let me know if you are ok with that.
