wait does that make me Leonard then, always trying to get a girl....
and would that make Lorelei penny, always turning me down, except when drunk.
funny side note. in real life i am called sheldon a fair amount, because of my height and huge nerddom
Ornotck Kalsor |
oh just get a noes plug and it will be fine, besides i am sure with his high int, he would know all the right places on almost any female form, after all Knowledge is int based. you could try for the gnome if your looking for something,
Lorelei |
I loved the episode where Sheldon had to help Penny out of her shower after she fell.
"Uhm, is that my elbow?"
I laughed so hard.
Now I still have to decide how Lorelei will feel about the next morning when she is sober....

I'm just going to casually mention that I have the endurance feat. Just throwing it in there, making a note of it. Ragnar likely won't be getting much play in that department, but just in case.
Ornotck Kalsor |
well there are rules for it, anyone ever heard or have book of erotic fantasy, it is a 3.0 book but can still work in pathfinder if the group wants to. even a chart on how long you can last, and how good it was, example duration is a con check, can use endurance feat, how good a perform check.
so this is just for my fun, con check1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
and perform check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
so 20 mins or less, and routine performance. curse you dice making me look bad...

Haha, I don't think I've ever actually seen those rules used in play before. I've been reminded of it recently as a couple of my players have had their characters shacking up regularly and I've threatened that there are rules for getting pregnant and I can look them up. I do have that PDF lying around somewhere, maybe I'll dig it up...
Ornotck Kalsor |
well lucky for you jediah, from the chart i found, it seems that half elfs and half orcs cant make baby's. but that is without magical help. Lorelei you still got one more casting of grease left? we can make sure you cant get preggers with that. wow so hard to even type that out, i was laughing to much
Lorelei |
Now I'm just trying to imagine Havok giving Fen "the Talk". Oh my.
As for Grease, right now it only lasts for one minute for me. Not really worth casting.
Though afterwards Prestidigitation will be great for cleaning up. :)

Ugh. Woke up super early this morning, realized it was super early, and closed my eyes again - didn't open them up until 15 minutes late for a team meeting. Rushed downstairs and called in remotely - luckily I can at least do that, but wasn't good to be late....guh. Wednesday.

Bluuuuuugh. I'm moving this weekend and I got an email this morning that our corner of the office may have bedbugs... and of course I have a second date with a lady tonight. So I'm trying to decide if I should cancel so I can vacuum the apartment, wash all of my clothes and sheets and lay poison for any possible vermin that have moved in or if I should wash the clothes I plan to wear as a precaution and then go ahead with my plans, doing all of that stuff tomorrow.
Fen Tova |
Chinese take out and a night together working on things in the apartment could be really fun actually. Won't work with every lady, but then again that tells you an awful lot about her.
As in the immortal words of Wayne Campbell: I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she's yours. If you spew and she bolts, it was never meant to be.
Ragnar Stolen-Voice |
I don't know. I haven't known her very long at all. I'd rather not have the second date start with "Hey, change of plans! Come on back to my place..." and end with,"... to sweep for bedbugs."
Lorelei |
Lorelei is Dagmar in that game.
Real life husband isn't currently in any PbP games. He just hasn't had the time to play any, when he did we'd try to end up in the same games. Except the rogue trader game, I had no interest in that one.
Ornotck Kalsor |
well i will say this, when recruiting the gm did say at least 2 posts a week, on the other hand it looks like this group can post about every day or so, and the question then is, if we want to ask our gm to post more often if possible, find a new gm, pick one of us who would be willing to be a new gm, or another option i have not thought of. if we pick to have a gm from our party, i am willing to take the role of gm as an option.
i am only laying out options and thoughts out at this time, what does everyone else think we should do.
DM Nerk |
Very sorry, all.
I think I have to bow out. I've really miscalculated the amount of time that running this kind of thing online would take in comparison to running it RL. I simply don't have the energy to devote to doing a good job here, and this group definitely deserves someone who can really keep track of everything and stay on top of it.
I am sorry, because it is a great group. I hope you'll find someone who can take the reins.

so umm, now what. look for a new dm, pick one of us ect. what are your guys thoughts. i am sorry that nerk has to leave though.
side note, i have four of the books for the path right now, will get more as we get to it, i am almost always on my computer except when working, so i can easily do a post a night. i have been a dm, but not in play by post before, that is the information about me if we pick from the group a dm. just so it is out there.
Fen Tova |
I have all the books, but really don't have the time to run an online campaign. Nerk is right, it takes a pretty large time investment. I'd love to keep this going though, since I think we have a great group. I think we'd have the best chance if one of us wants to take over since we're already invested in it.
Fen Tova |
Well, Ornotck has volunteered to pick it up - I'd be perfectly happy to have him run it. Several of us have enough experience with PbP DMing that we could certainly help with some of the finer points, so your inexperience shouldn't be an issue. You've certainly proved that you know how to RP well enough, and that's really what's most important.
If you do decide to pick this up, you could NPC Ornotck until he dies, we take on a new crew/ship, whatever. Or we could just keep him around as an NPC for that matter. I suppose it'd be up to you if you want to recruit a new player for your replacement at that point.
Ragnar Stolen-Voice |
Best wishes, Nerk. No hard feelings, I know how it is.
I've got the books, but I'm about to start Shattered Star as a pbp so I can't step in to DM. I'm fine with anything, easy like Sunday morning.
Ornotck Kalsor |
ok looks like we only have odiseo left for his thoughts,
i think we would be fine with a party of 5 rather then 6, and i know of a few ways we can deal with ornotck,
also ragnar any thoughts on telling us what you would be looking for in your shattered star game?
you guys just say when and i will keep the game going as best i can.
James Keegan |
I'm still going over the Shattered Star adventure, but the plan is to take my players from my Godsmouth Ossuary pbp and bring them into the campaign. There's four PCs at this point, considering if we want one or two more. Right now I'm thinking I'll give players in another game I ran that's fallen by the wayside a chance first and then if they pass I'll open it up.
