Fronar Gossamar |
I've got a wand of CLW also, but can't use it w/o a UMD check (which would probably fail). I'm glad to pass this wand to anyone who can use it, and let them use in for the entire party, as needed.
when it comes to wands, if the spell is on your class's spell list, then you can use the wand w/o a UMD check.
Nguyen An |
"Well, yeah I guess so. Me and my friend August, well we were the Kings of a carnival once and got to meet a Stinks!! She was beautiful, but the people all said she killed some people, but August and I did not believe it! So we proved them wrongs, and then it turns out that the Stinks was not real...umm..are you real?? Its just, umm..well you dont look like anyone I have meet before."
An looks about bashfully, like maybe he had said too much.
Alanya the eidolon |
She shows a cheeky smile.
"I am as real as your nose, just from another plane. My 'mother' had made a pact with my brash half-elf friend several years ago and since then he's called on me whenever he gets these exciting adventures. Sadly there hasn't been a way to invite others over to my home plane to share its sights."

Chyras LeBlanc |
"Still let's keep caution, non? If dese tins are as oatsworn as told, dey will likely want to get de drop on anyone followin' dem."
Adeah Silversong |
"Agreed." She pushes a cartridge into the barrel of her musket. "And if they do, it won't be pretty."
Fronar Gossamar |
"Shall we see if our fate will be the same as those lifeless bodies? I always prefer the element of surprise."
Fronar will try and utilize stealth and sneak into the building. Hoping to scout for possible hazards and enemies.
stealth: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 4 = 15 -4 = Armor check penalty
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Bukko |
"Deception! Old and valued tactic. I shall bravely and quietly follow you."
Bukko follows right behind An.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Perception (low light vision): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Black feathers and dark clothes naturally help him to remain unseen, but he seems to be rather swept by this new whole adventure thing to be noticing much.
Chyras LeBlanc |
I do believe the GM has set it as 'editable', we can move our own tokens to where we want to be standing.
Chyras is sticking a bit outside for the time being, remembering the crossbow bolts earlier.
Adeah Silversong |
Survival: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Mia Kusanagi |
after all day of not working, my right click on my mouse, finally, well works. I couldn't even copy paste among other things.
when you entered, you saw 3 dead bodies just outside the door and trails of blood from those dead bodies if you wish to track those trails of blood.
Ctrl+c for copy, Ctrl+v for paste and Ctrl+x for cut. These'll help if you get stuck again like that. Also, my computer is going downhill as well, but I hope to have it replaced soon.
Mia will move up to Nguyen, maintaining her stance as she begins to search around the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Adeah Silversong |
Musket drawn and at the ready, Adeah looks around for the source of the blood.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
DoubleGold |
by rights, I think combat would have started as soon as someone got to the entrance of the room, but I'm not going to fix that now, I just don't put enemies ahead of time on the map or it could give away locations. I doesn't state exact squares, except 2 of them but I have an idea where I want them.
The blood Bukko can determine is fresh, not even a day old.
init: 1 + 1d20 ⇒ 1 + (14) = 15 black echleon operatives
init: 1 + 1d20 ⇒ 1 + (14) = 15 Chyras
init: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (18) = 22 fronar
init: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (2) = 6 mia
init: 2 + 1d20 ⇒ 2 + (18) = 20 adeah
init: 5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (12) = 17 Nyguyen
init: 5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (10) = 15 bukku
everyone except mia is up blue squares for enemies
Adeah Silversong |
Not that it makes a difference, but my initiative should be +6 not +2.
She backs up a step from the one in front of her, turns around, and fires at the one in the northwest corner.
Musket shot (flat-footed touch): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Damage: 1d12 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
Nice, almost max damage.
Fronar Gossamar |
Fronar steps up to flank with Nguyen, and swipes twice with his kukris
1st attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26
1st damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (5) + 1 = 13
2nd attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27
2nd damage: 1d4 + 4 + 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + (7) + 1 = 13
confirm 1st: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 2 = 24
1st crit damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
confirm 2nd: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 = 26
2nd crit damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
hit+confirm on 1st = 13+8 (21) damage
hit+confirm on 2nd = 13+8 (21) damage
total = 42 damage on enemy
WOW! Double crit, double confirm! Can't ask for much more!

some of you would reconsider their targets if you knew the other person killed one, anyway, among 4 of you, you managed to hit 5 times and kill them all in one hit
after killing the enemy, you find they all have sickles on them. And you find rat gutter poison.
Act 3: of course you can read up yourself, but better if I tell you, though stop before you get to the Devil Dial if reading the stuff yourself and don't want is spoiled.
okay Desperate to find Nessian, Yargos takes the PCs into the
sewer maze of the Puddle District, a waterlogged labyrinth
of dangerously flooded tunnels known as the Siphons.
There the PCs find the receiving room of Grandmaster
Torch, one of Absalom’s most notorious information
brokers. Yargos warns the PCs that Grandmaster Torch
has powerful friends and bodyguards and that they would
be wise to keep their weapons sheathed.
okay, go ahead and roll a social check versus grandmaster torch, after that. He is also interested in the poison.
Does anyone have disable device as a skill? And does any have perform as a skill?
Fronar Gossamar |
disable device: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
no perform, but if a performance is needed, Fronar can put on an acrobatic display in it's place, or do some sleight of hand for a "street magic" show.
acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
sleight of hand: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
use these if you determine they would be a suitable substitute for perform, otherwise, disregard them.
Adeah Silversong |
Don't have either of those, but here's my untrained Diplomacy.
Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Chyras LeBlanc |
"Dat poison looks awful, imagine what would 'ave 'appened if dey 'ad succeeded. Dey'd have killed off any who'd eat it."
Over at Torch's place.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
I'm the diplomat in Kingmaker ^^
DoubleGold |
okay, you manage to convince the Grandmaster torch to tell you where the stuff is instead of having to pay him 6000 gp.
You have 5 safes to open and you have to open 3.
First you start on the Devil Dial you need disable device to do this one as it is a trained only skill, but there is no penalty for failure and you can try again as many times as necessary, so as long as someone has disable device, this is guaranteed. The dc was 18, so as long as the modifier is -2 or better you will eventually get it And after about several minutes worth or work heroes get it open.
Safe 2: Box of Golden Faces: You need a barbarian or a rage spell for this. Or make a perception check dc 8, followed by one of the following: a will save, intimidate check, use magic device or perform check dc 12.
Safe 3: I'll give you the handout for this, you need to speak a word in a riddle. If you do just look up the answer since the scenario is right there, at least give reasoning behind your answer so it, so that we at least think you tried to legitimately figure out the answer.
Safe 4: Make a will save dc 14 to see through the illusion.
Safe 5: Holed Safe: need a bard or someone with perform. Or decipher script, but there is no skill equivalent in pathfinder, I don't think there is.
Handout: Though different now sounds my name, the spelling
still remains the same.
Once prior leap of might, now becomes bird of white
Adeah Silversong |
"Once prior leap of might, now becomes bird of white... A dove!"
Haven't looked to see if that's the right answer, I just thought about 'bird of white' homonyms.
Chyras LeBlanc |
Alright, let's have a shot at it.
Chyras takes a look at the manuscript, trying to match the languages he knows to translate it.
Linguistics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
