Gil seems to not have noticed their was a fight at all.


Gabbi the player seems to be caught up with life. I have to assume she will use the wand I gave her to Heal Gur.

I want to get our dwarf into the game so this may be a little rocky.

Clobbridin (sp?):
All of the events I told you about in the PM have happened. Now that the monster is in chains you have ventured back out to bury your comrades. Unfortunately you can not find their bodies. The following that I describe will be where you come in. Just try to pick up where I leave off.

Gur, Talon, Gabbi, and Gil continue to ride/walk the road. Gur is awakened by the sound of crying and howling.

Ahead you can see what looks like a traveling carnival troupe. The various members of the troupe are milling aimlessly around a stopped caravan. Two young women are crying loudly, this in turn is causing the a male child of the age of 10 who seems to be wearing furs all over his body to howl inconsolably. A female? human? who stands nearly as tall as Gur (7 feet) is trying to console the 2 young ladies its seems. Oh and you soon notice she has a fine beard that hangs to her waist. Their is also another figure with what looks like 4 arms trying to console as well. 7 other interesting figures are speaking with a normal looking dwarf. By the way everyone is standing it is easy to see this dwarf is not part of the carnival.

Clobbridin:
You are of course the dwarf. You are either accusing these carnies of taking your comrades bodies or asking them if they have seen the bodies. Or anything else you come up with your choice.


Names and descriptions of the people you are going to meet:

Hap Tarvin, the Flea Man:
A short, hunched man with a distorted appearance, Hap
performs with his flea circus, the Magnificent Carnival
of Miniature Wonders.

Kaleb Hesse, the Ringmaster Clobbridin this is the primary person you are speaking too.
An albino man with red eyes and long, white hair that
hangs below his knees, Kaleb wears a tall red top hat, a
long red coat with gold buckles, and striped trousers. He
is the de facto leader of the Crooked Kin. The name of the carnival troupe.

Lidia Gerod, the Bearded Lady:
Standing nearly 7 feet tall and possessed
of a fine beard down to her waist, Lidia acts as a sort of
“mother hen” to the other members of the troupe.

The Pinheads: (2 of the Young Women crying) Lettie, and Poppy Sisters all whom have microcephaly.

Prince Zar, the Human Caterpillar
This Mwangi man has no arms or legs. He is
billed as an exiled prince of the “Lost
Cities of Darkest Garund.”

S’jeer, the Vudrani Princess:
Born with four arms, S’jeer dresses in exotic silks and
speaks with a thick accent.

The Swarm of Clowns: These three men, Gerik, Josef,
and Tam, each have an extra limb (Josef has three legs, the others have three arms).

Trollblood, the Giant Man:
A shockingly ugly Ulfen man nearly 8 feet tall, Trollblood
entertains the crowds with fire-breathing and his feats
of strength.

The Wolf Child
Supposedly raised by wolves in the Shudderwood, this
10-year-old boy is covered in hair. He is unfortunately
insane you soon find out. Meaning he can not communicate as a person and acts fully like an animal.

Clob. seems to be discussing something with the Carnies. He has not yet raised his voice, but he does appear to be irritated.

Hearing a coach approach he turns around to get a good look at the occupants. With a smile on his face he waves and says. Good evenin to ye.

Strictly speaking Gabbi can't use the wand, but I'll pick up a rank of use magic device next level and pertend in the mean time if that is ok.

Gabbi is quiet frustrated by the time she gets the wand to work enough times but eventually she heals Gur and they move on.

She slows down the wagon as they get close to the trope and smiles to dwarf in response to the Dwarf's greeting. "Eveneing to you too."
then looking around "Is there a problem that friendly travelers could be assistance in?"

It's a second level spell for a Ranger. the UMD skill says, "Normally, to use a wand, you must have the wand's spell on your class spell list". He can't cast second level spells yet but it's on his class list so he should be able to use a wand of cure light wounds. Right?"

Only if ye have seen a bunch of corpses belongin to my kin. I came back from town after getting some supplies so I could perform the last rights on my fallen comrades. They were just off the road here, but for the life of me I can't find em.

Kinda hard to misplace 12 corpses, not like they would just get up and wander off.


The wand works it doesn't matter how. LOL. Clob will take it over once he is part of the party. As Gabbi said it took too of you fooling with it for a few hours for it to finally activate. That will not be good in most cases.

Why I was just about to beg for your assistance. Alie the sister of Letti and Poppy has gone missing into the fens. (The area you are in has near by swamps) We are entertainers not fighters you see. Please find what happened to her?

Of course...but it would be just as easy for you to look for yourself. The three girls were triplets you see.

All with the tiny heads of course. Truly there is not much detail on what the girls look like but that will be enough for your character to go off of.

Also Gabbi is in work hell so he (the player) will be slow posting for a few weeks possibly.

Gur wakes up from his nap. Still sore from the previous beating he received, Getting up out of the wagon he sees the current situation and walks out to see what is going on.

Read a big giant orc is walking out towards the carnival and doesn't have the oh the professor talked about this guy all the time defense any more.

"What is going on now?" He asks in a rough voice like an avalanche having a nightmare.

The girls cry more. The larger men and women try to look as if they will fight if they must.

As for dead kin, if we find them we will return them to the rest they deserve." The orc does not seem phased by the reception, this was more the norm for reactions he was used to getting. Having to return coin purses to people who threw them on the ground to avoid death got very tiresome very quick.

He ponders on the events as if struggling to find the last missing piece in a puzzle.

Aleece’s tracks are fresh, and may be found with a DC 10 Survival check. The tracks run for about half a mile as they head down into a boggy river valley, and then into a densely vegetated, midge-infested marsh. The marsh is a shallow bog (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 427), with high reeds between 6 and 8 feet high that affect abilities and movement in the same way as heavy undergrowth in dense forest (Core Rulebook 426). Aleece’s tracks soon all but vanish under water (DC 20 Survival check to follow)

I remember attacking a bunch of bandits, then being set upon by a large beast. the bandits were all but defeated before that thing came out. It was a monster, and all of us fought to the end. I took a nasty blow to the head, and when I woke; they were all dead.

Clobbidrin will follow the group tellin stories of when he was a boy, trying to break the ice with the new group. When he sees the different terrain types he begins a new story that it has reminded him of.


Talon follows the tracks for another hundred yards or so to a cramped clearing filled with dismal-looking gray flowers.

You all hear the voice of a girl calling out straight ahead of you.

Luckily dwarves are not known for their speed and Clobbidrin did not get far enough away to get lost.

You all huddle together as the mist seems to get thicker. (no game effect at the moment)

The cry's for help come from all directions now.

Since Gur is MIA currently...

You both detect magic just as a Large spider-like monster with an eerie, humanoid face surrounded by a shaggy mane of fur appears behind Gur and sinks its fangs into the orc and tosses him into the Mud!

Gur if you come back we will get you back into the fight. Otherwise Gur is in the mud fighting for his life vs the poison. Oh and its a Phase Spider if you did not figure it out.

If no one objects Ill run this combat with no map 1 Creature should not be hard to keep up with.

Gabbi also runs in to touch the creature Fort Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 The Spider resists the effect of the spell.


If Gur makes his save he can act in round 2 normally.

The spider pops out of existence again only to appear behind Talon!

This is how the Poison works except for the one I hit Gur with.
