I think the facts in Rose's post are right- the basics of what's going on at the prison. Her opinons, and what the group should so, may not be right.
You could kill everyone. That's certainly an option, and it could be a sucessful one. Or you could try to use stealth to get out of here, and do something like jump off the bridge and try to swim to safety. This is also an option. Or you can try to dig around for more information before escaping.
If you wanted to look for more information, my suggestion would be to look in the wizard's tower. There may be something of use there.

I really don't want the game to die either, guys! I just wasn't sure if I should respond to your plans in such a way, because I didn't want to give you knowledge you haven't already been given. But if it's more helpful for the group for me to do that, then I will.

I think we're kind of flummoxed on how to proceed - it looks like from the map we have that the only way into the wizard's tower is via the walls, which means we still have to get into the guardhouse, as the tower is separate from the keep. or am I misreading the map - I thought we had searched the entirety of the keep already - leaving only the guardhouse and the tower left to search.

Ah... well maybe we should go there? Personally I was kinda hoping to just deal with the guardhouse next, but if everyone else is hot to go to the wizard's tower next, we can certainly do that... either way, we have to get across one part of the courtyard or another, which is gonna require stealth, yes?

I'll probably end up following the group wherever they decide to go.

I think the main issue is that we aren't exactly sure of our options.

Yeah, okay, either some recruitment or some scaling down of the adventure is probably a good idea. I'm sort of for keeping the game smallish - it moves things along in a PbP a good bit faster, in my experience. But four players usually isn't too bad.

To make recruitment easier, though, we don't necessarily need a dedicated healer. I will actually grab full ranks in UMD first chance I get, and thus we just need to keep me stocked in CLW wands for in-between fight healing. Another off-healer, a druid or inquisitor or alchemist or whatever, should serve us just fine.

Sholano's gonna go for the obvious play, here, one that if I recall correctly we even did before, dressing up as a guard and luring at least a few out to be murdered.

Speaking of which, it's my understanding you can use Handle Animal untrained when trying to handle domestic animals. If I'm wrong, then obviously my latest action isn't gonna work very well.

I certainly wouldn't mind having another character around. We're almost out of the prison now though, so unless you want to take over one of the other characters you'd probably have to wait a bit before we introduce you.

Sorry for not having posted sooner: I had unexpected guests who I had to entertain, and there was no time for myself to get on the computer.
I think an additional member of the group would be nice! I would definitly have to introduce you when we got to the meeting place, but that will be soon enough. I'll send you a PM in the next day or so involving details of getting you in.
Would you guys still want a healer? If so, I can also try and find one of them. If not, someone can just get a wand of Infernal Healing or CLW or something and hope for the best .

I think a wand would be fine. Rose has an impressive UMD, so non-combat healing will work fine.

In combat, well, whatever. We're the bad guys. We shouldn't be wasting time trying to heal each other anyway. We can make due with potions.

Putting aside all the viability of in combat healing. :) While an Asmodain cleric might be willing to heal allies, being turned into a healbot would be offensive no doubt. ;)

I don't know, an Asmodian would probably be willing, so long as there was a contract written out detailing compensation for each curative spell cast during each coming mission.

I don't know, but I am pretty sure that they are dead. Perhaps they died in the escape attempt, or were eaten by some beasts while on the moors. And if they hadn't died then, they would have died or been sent to the salt mines to die when the prison guards found them. Only you guys and Grumblejack are here.
