A wild Plantman appears. Plantman uses Babble
@Afrazar.
Consider Oracle.
Legalistic and Wolf scarred both have advantages, specifically though both flame sight and water sight are options to select.
Find a way to activate a smoke bomb as a swift action or get one of your caster friends to prep fog spells.
Laugh as you get easy concealment/sneak attack along with handy defenses.
Wolfscarred is just a free natural attack
Legalistic required a bit more dancing but as long as you avoid making promises you ought to be fine.
though you could always go for the classic cop-out and take tongues.
@Bantamweight
On that topic Muscle wizard
@Dragon
So Ghoran don't appear to have age categories. I assume this would be due to the fact that they can generate healthy clone bodies once the one they are in starts breaking down.
Would you like to add one? I think the point if moot for me as I wanted my plant person to be fairly young. Escaped child of other enslaved Ghorans.
I stumbled across the Green Mother, one of the first world eldest.
A Neutral evil deity of Carnivorous plants and disguises. So I'm just going to roll with this because that is damned perfect for this characters concept.
Would there be an issue with me re flavoring the trait Mother's teeth (religion trait tied to Lamashtu) and sticking it on as a trait for this deity instead?
I'm imagining Artis's face opening into a spiral shaped maw of tiny flensing teeth underneath the normal petal covered visage.
I can't select a wildblooded sorcerer line with the VMC so no Sanguine for blood drinking with bonuses. As such I plan on selecting the Daemon bloodline for my Sorcerer VMC. The Daemons Wasting ray causes starvation, would there be any added interaction with Artis here being Delicious?

The Dragon |

I like reflavoring stuff, and in this case the result is really sweet - go right ahead on that one.
As for Age categories, let's just say they live about as long as kobolds. Makes sense for something you'd grow for consumption that they don't live very long. As for how it interacts with the clone thing, fluffwise the copied version is a lot better than the cell copies humans make, but still not perfect, so the clone-of-a-clone-of-a-clone thing means they eventually get cancer-analogues, bad teeth, lose their head-growths and vision and so forth.
In short, they age like everyone else. It won't really come up and be an issue for the campaign though, so no worries.
Deliciousness won't interact with your wasting ray.

Artis Telmin |

Hey how does archetype interactions work if all conflicts happen after the E6' level cut-off?
id been planning on comboing some archetypes for flavorful stuff but two of them conflict at L8.
I just saw the blood summoner and blood sacrifice is all sorts of cool, if it could get reworked towork for my plants that would be best but even as written that would mean I can feed my Eidolon blood.
Well I was still coming to feed it blood regardless but blood based superpowers for the carnivorous devil tree is amusing.
It does start conflicting with stuff until L8. Which for this instance does not actually exist.

Yeah, overlapping archetypes are cool, if the overlap happens after 6th level.

Another question...Elves can swap out Elven Immunities for Elemental Resistance, basically a +5 Resistance to one element. Can Half-Elves swap out there Elven Immunities for the same? I'd essentially like to take Fire Ink tattoos, but ran out of Traits, so I'll take loosing immunity to sleep magic and take the Fire Resistance...if it's allowed. If not, then it's simply a case of non-glowing tattoos and a Light as a orison.

Not in this case no, sorry.

Hey Dragon, Bantamweight here. I've completed my statblock and a character background; the fluff is a little rough but it should give you a bit of an idea as to what I am going for. Let me know if there is anything which needs fixing, or if you want to know more about anything to do with the character. I've gone Brawler/Barbarian, there are some nice synergies and I think it should work well with the E6 rules.

Looks very good. It looks like you haven't figured your favored class bonus into the sheet yet, and the barbarian multiclass benefits only give you con+1/lvl rage rounds per day, but otherwise it looks good. Backstory is rather fitting, I think.
Sounds good, which time zone do you go by?
I was going by GMT +2. In practice though, most of you are on american time, so I figured I'd just check in on the thread around noon saturday, to make up for that. If you submit your sheet friday before midnight whereever you are, it'll be fine.

The Dragon |

True, I did forget favoured class. I've added 1 hp and amended the rage to 4 rounds per day. Thanks for the quick feedback!
I'm in Australia mate, and if you're happy with the character sheet then count this as my formal submission
Well, I'd like you to write out your personality first.

Calgaron |

Newbonomicon here! Sorry for not getting this in sooner, I ended up working on too many things at once.
Calgaron once thought he'd never throw his lot in with thieves and smugglers, but that was a lifetime ago. Now, he hides his face, but the stench of decay betrays the rotting corpse he inhabits. For, you see, death refuses to take Calgaron, and so his soul remains in this world, neither living nor dead.
His first death was a suicide, and to this day he wears the noose around his neck as a reminder that there is no escape. He has not tested his luck since then, too frightened of what might await the man who died twice. On principle, he hasn't told a soul how he found himself condemned to live this wretched half-life, but it must have been truly horrible.

The Dragon |

Let me know what you think of him mechanically! Sadly, Reincarnated isn't compatible with Blight Druid, but I think I did pretty well.
Well, he looks pretty good. You don't have stealth, which might be bad. Otherwise, I don't spot anything beyond the lack of indepth fluff and buying all your gear.
Optimization wise, you're guarding a lot against death effects. Fear might well come up quite a bit, but the only death effect likely to happen is probably phantasmal killer.
Anyway, glad to see you took survival. That one will probably be coming up a bit, but it's not an entirely intuitive skill for people to take for a game like this.

Calgaron |

I wanted to be protected from death effects just in case, because the reincarnation ability he gets at level five doesn't work against them. As for stealth, it's not a class skill, and I only had four skill points to work with, so it was tricky.
As for buying equipment, I assume you're thinking along the lines of rope, torches, bedrolls, et cetera?

The Dragon |

So far we have:
Jevan T'soryn, drow preservationist alchemist - hasn't got much fluff yet.
Abbo Lyrio, Anti-paladin. - hasn't got much fluff yet.
Rahdon Aldgard, dhampir slayer - hasn't got much fluff yet.
Artis Telmin, plant and summoner of plants.
Gallus Durandas, Muscle Wizard and working man.
Calgaron, creepy, creepy druid - hasn't got much fluff yet, but what's there I like.
Also, a bunch of interested people.

I did say everyone got a free class skill somewhere upthread.
It wasn't all that visible though, so maybe I should say it again here:
Yes, was thinking of that stuff. I do know that you're in a city, so it's not as important as on dungeon crawls, so maybe just write down how much gold you've got left?
Everyone gets a free bonus class skill! I recommend using it to be able to stealth.

I was thinking of taking rogue as my multiclass, but I was wondering what would happen with getting sneak attack from two different sources? Also for skill points, do you count a negative modifier to total skill points? Finally, I am PMing, you the fluff and personality in a second.

Movin |
@Calgaron
A quick search of Death effects show that:
Bloatbomb (L4)
Create soul gem (L3) *
Curse of unexpected death (L4)
Death Knell (L2)*
Death Candle (L2)*
Death Knell Aura (L4)*
Enemy's Heart (L2)*
Stricken Heart (L2)
*All Kill your enemy in a evil way for benefits spells.
Are all the (Death) subtype effects that can be expected in this level range.
Stricken Heart and Bloatbomb seem to be the only ones that would be cast on you without prior knowledge of your reincarnation abilities.
If they know you can reincarnate then they will likely just imprison you or cripple you instead.
Calcific touch would turn you into a rock without making you die.
@ Rhadon
Assuming you go that route you might consider trading one of those low modifier for the 16 in your Charisma. Slayers do very little with that ability score and your racial bonus should still net you a 10 or 11.
I'd suggest Int just so you can have all the skills.
Though that Racial penalty to Con is going to hurt if you intend to be a melee range attacker.
If you want to have good social skills then I'd suggest the Student of Philosophy trait or the Clever wordplay trait if you still want to be a talk-y person.
Regardless is will be nice to have someone in the party with trap finding. I built my characters Eidolon as a radar dish for the short term but he/it can't disable a trap to save their life.
@Azariah
Welp, still blows my submission out of the water. Also the profile image you found is perfect.
Though the image you have in there sends me to a blank page and I'm fairly certain that the Greatsword does 2d6 rather than a D12. Damage is pretty much the same for those two dice set-ups though.

The Dragon |

This is Jon's Warpriest. Sorry for the delay, I've been unwell the last few days and it's slowed down my fluff. Still not happy with it, but I'll try and tweak it if I get the chance and energy.
That's... You know, that's really cool.
By the way, I can't open your visual image right now. Maybe the link is broken, or something?

JonGarrett |

Thanks for the head's up. Fixed greatsword damage (I was originally thinking Rovagug and the Greataxe, but it didn't quite fit) and the image should work now, but can be seen here.

Movin |
@Rhadon is there a reason your character is L7?
Looks like you have the stat array of a ranged focused switch hitter. get weapon finesse and use the Ranger style tree to grab the important combat feats that you could not normally access.
I'd suggest Ranged because Improved precise shot as a L6 ability is ridiculous.
@Calgaron
You might consider replacing the second feat in the tomb tainted line with the Vermin heart feat. Vermin and crawlies are traditionally more associated with death than animals, also you can get away with some ridiculous shenanigans when you make the traditionally domination immune Vermin able to be targeted by Charm animal, Speak with animal and Call animal.
You could become an absolutely terrifying spymaster in a city and many vermin have incredibly nasty poisons for their level.
Aquatic vermin in particular have great venoms.
A shame the combination takes so many feats to get rolling but the 3.5 feat Lord of the Uttercold [make cold spells deal 1/2 negative energy damage] could be utterly brutal in your hands.
Though if 3.5 feats are open you could also go for Searing spell to get the unique opportunity of burning a fire elemental to death.
Hrmmm... Searing spell flame blade with Dervish dance and a dex focused druid would actually be really cool.
Amusingly one could then use this combo to turn into a teeny tiny songbird with a big honkin' flaming sword and murder the heck out of people as a dervish of feathers and fire.
@Jon
great picture.

Movin |
Ah, that would explain it. Looked at it now, solid crunch.
Also do you plan to have Disable device? I know that the GM gave us a freebie skill, if you don't already have it used for something you might consider that.
@Gallus: GM had said a final submisison time of friday, So I'd assume set up will occur over the weekend and we get rolling some time in the next few days after.
He'd also said in the first post that he was looking for a total of eight players for this campaign.

The Dragon |

For story related reasons, I really need a bunch of players for this game. I don't think I'll end up running it after all.
Maybe some time in the future, when I can polish it more and make it look inviting, but right now we just don't have enough people to do it, for spoilery reasons.
Sorry to have put up a 'false' app.
