Old Willow |
Willow looks at Gyness with a sour expression on her face. She purses her lips, scowls and even stretch her jaws before saying. She clears her throat and spits a vilainous glob of phlegm on the ground.
They wont need your "God's" healing. If they need any, they'll have mine
There is something about the way she said the god word, so very filled with scorn.
Kowus Orc-Hunter |
At the first sign of orcs Kowus raises his bow aiming for their heads waiting for just the right opportunity to release the arrow. At Willows suggestion he grimessed and very reluctantly put his weapon down. Reason ?! With them? That is proposterous ! YOU CANNOT DO THAT! For future cases I will just go on and show you. If I see anyone try to get huggy huggy with them , you will feal the taste of my glaive.
He throws his backpack on the ground and goes towards them angrily with his glaive prepared. Throw your weapons down . We got you surrounded. They will not harm you if you do so... Maybe. he says in orcish.

Master of Dungeons |
Upon hearing their native tongue, the orcs perk up and listen to Kowus.
[spoiler=Orc (spoken)]Your threats are pointless, death is coming for us as it is. We won't have some human priest or, worse yet, an elf hag giving us aid. You will see what's in here in due time. Only death awaits.[/spoiler
As the orc finishes his last sentence, the other two laugh at the response, the smallest one stifling a cough. They cross their arms and turn away, looking your direction only occasionally, trying indicate a lack of cooperation.
Check the map for A2, let me know if you would like to be moved to a different position. Tried following the descriptions as best I could.
Kowus Orc-Hunter |
Kowus disregards Thalrik completely and continues in orchish My senses had trully mislead me. I thought I heard orcs but the only thing I see are some scared rabbits. Have you seen your own shadows and ran back to the entrance ? You are not even worth to get my weapon dirty. If you give us the answers we seek we can give you a warrior's death. If not ... you'll have to explain to your god how good you hide under a rock. He switches to Common . What is the creature you ran from? Where is your master?
Thalrik Korun |
Thalrik produced an annoyed snort when Kowus ignored him.
I dont have much sense for etiquette, but thats just rude.
He turned away, bringing out the papers to continue reading.
Kowus Orc-Hunter |
Hearing another question related to what they have dscussed, Kowus turned back to the others and replied. These rabbits refused your healing offer. They got content with dieing. Oh, and in case you haven't noticed by now they CAN understand you, but just don't go on and blabber about our escape route, I don't want them fleeing out and terrorizing that village.
C12 please
Kowus Orc-Hunter |
Kowus draws closer to the witch to avoid the keen hearing of the orcs.
I guess he would be in D10 now.
Master of Dungeons |
The orcs notice Willow reaching for her bow, and catch Maggie approaching in a defensive stance. They all seem to turn towards each other, slowly reaching for their weapons. They whisper something in orcish.
Kowus Orc-Hunter |
Seams they are in mood of a fight. Stop them from getting their weapons! He rushes for the weapon of the closest orc and hits it hard with his glaive on the side throwing it hard away from the orc in Gyness's direction.
You might want to arm yourself. he says to the Maggie in a calm voice. They seam to like you.
So you finally decided to make your move. Picking on the defenseless, as usual. Should have killed you the moment I set my eyes on your wretched faces. Let's see how you handle one of your own size.

Thalrik Korun |
And so the inevitable happened finally Thalrik thought to himself, moving away from the ensuing melee and lobbing a small orb of acid at the nearest unengaged enemy.
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
Move to a position where he can cast Acid Splash without melee and cover penalties, while staying at a safe distance. Staying safe is a priority, so he will take the penalties if he has to. Wont specify where he move, since initiative order may mess with that. DM please just move me where you think fits best with my description.
Evandrik Zale |
Evandrik smiles when they reach for their weapons, and he surges forward to stop them with his massive axe. Try to keep one alive!
free action to drop saddlebags from shoulder. Charge nearest standing orc if it moves closer than the dwarf, if possible on my init. If no line to charge, regular attack, flanking if possible. If none move past paladin by my init, I hold next to Thalrik (total defense).
Init 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Greataxe 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 +2 if charging or flanking; damage 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4, 2) + 6 = 17
Magnitofera Skeller |
Magnitofera stands before the middle orc and tries to hit him with all her might!
Attack modified with Hatred Racial Feat and Power Attack Feat
Initiative 1d20 ⇒ 12
Warhammer [power attack] 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Damage 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Old Willow |
To be clear I only rolled my attack and damage because i knew i'd be away most of the day. I didnt want my absence to lag the game. Its a readied action vs first orc that rises with weapon in hand. If they dont do that there wont be an attack. Thank you for compiling the damage for me, i have a DM that only counts the bonuses but I think its a house rule. Also total damage would then be 5 (6+1+1-3=5) or 7 if you count the str penalty only once

Evandrik feels like an eternity passes in the space of a moment. Adrenaline courses as the uncertainty solidifies into a course of action. Will the orcs lose spirit? Get lucky and end our quest before it starts? Die needlessly over Kowus' words? Such thoughts flood Evandrik's mind in a flash, and are instantly gone, replaced by the calm of battle and the resolve of protecting Thalrik.
