"Honest work for honest pay, Karen," Hannet lightly scolds her. "I'm as anxious as you are to cut down some baddies, but these errands have been pretty straight-forward."

And you leave the seamstress behind and head to the last spot on this boring quest. Nitvar sees you coming, watches you gesture at the tents, and immedietely get to work. The little goblin is honestly fast and efficient, but it takes another half hour as he carefully waxes the entire thing. When hes done, he says, there! It will keep you safe in the rain. THats some solid work if I do say so myself He hands you tent and looks puzzled as to why you're so exhausted by just watching him work for an hour.
In addition to two four-person tent, the PCs also collect 8 bedrolls, 10 additional blankets, a dozen pitons, 100 feet of rope, a cookware set, flint and steel, 10 matchsticks, 2 bars of soap, a climbing kit, and a healer’s kit.
SOlid work done! It's been four hours of your life, but you can now head to the last job on the list-FOOD! You load up the cart and head to the east of town to find the gnome druid Andristi. It's a short 10 minute walk outside town, and you find a simple wooden lodge with no front door. Instead, a curtain of large palm leaves serves as the only separation between the cabin and the outside.
What do you do next?

"Hello? Andristi, are you here?" Peat calls out.
| Karen Langway |
In the time Nitvar waxed the tents, Karen had found a nice shady spot to sit and took a quick nap.
"Huh? Whuuzat? You're done? Oh good. Now, we can get some food." Karen blearily mumbles as she is woken up.
She lets Peat do the talking. 'Druids like Leshies, and so if Peat makes the first impression maybe Andristi will throw in a bonus.' is what Karen thinks.

A woman yells out, Come in! I'm busy at the moment! Inside, you see the gnome standing over a large cauldron. She says, Welcome! I'm Andristi! I'm in the middle of brewing some important potions and antidotes for the upcoming hunting season. Unfortunately, my work requires me to tend to the cauldron at all times as even a single minute away could lead to bad antidotes that would need even stronger antidotes just to fix....
My garden clearing a is bit deeper in the jungle and all of the produce there is meant for Inizkar. There is a lot growing in the garden and suggests that the entire expedition crew get together to pick from the garden, as it would otherwise it would take a whole full moon to for me finish it up. Just follow the trail and where you see all the veggies, go grab them.
Without another option, you leave the gnome to here work. A thin path leads beyond Andristi’s lodge to the garden a few hundred feet away. As you find the guarden and get close, you immediately see two shapes hissing at you!

You heal up and load up. After the fight, you take a moment to breath. The list is FINALLY done and you can get s move on! Off to your boss to tell her about the person wanting to use her tower while you're away?
Blueberry Peat

She was the one who put that person on the list. Did she not know what they were asking about when she said "sort out arrangements"?
Blueberry Peat
|
Peat takes the inventory of supplies to Inizkat, and tells her about the arrangements made with Tlaytin.
"In addition, I have some ... feedback to provide on the professionalism of local merchants and tradespersons. Would there happen to be a local Chamber of Commerce or something, where one could leave some suggestions? I can drop them a letter before we leave town."
fine_young_misanthrope

Basically she knew he wanted to, but you were supposed to find out why. You did-he wants to use her observatory to measure the tower and it's growth. You're not using it anyway, so it can't hurt. It's a bit of social time to learn a bit more.
You can easily leave a letter with the local chamber before you depart. Anyone else have any last minute things before you head back to the boss?
| Karen Langway |
Karen attempts to write a scathing letter.
'To whom it may concern;
We represent a company of adventurers and interested parties who entered into a contract with various merchants around town. We expected that when we arrived, the merchants would have been prepared with all of our belongings. We certainly did not expect to not only have to traipse around town to retrieve all of our belongings, but also to be attacked by wild animals.
The actions (or lack thereof) of your merchants reflects badly on your town. Please look into this immediately.
Sincerely,
Karen Langway.'
She hands the draft to the rest of the party for them to add on or sign the letter.
Gog Bloodfist
|
Having watched the fight go down without his help, Gog again lights his pipe while loading cargo. Gog watches Karen wave the draft around to the party. He then takes the letter from Karen and looks it over. Satisfied, he then takes his fist and plants it into the bloody rat mush and imprints it onto the bottom of the draft.
"Maybe that will allow them to deduce my view of this island and its ways!"
He then raises his hand and waves it back and forth to show he is ready to head back to meet the boss.

Off to the boss! You head back to base and there is the boss. She awaits your retelling. [ooc]Assuming you tell here everything, ill move forward.[/b]
She thanks you all profusely! And then she says, I have one more list... NOT TASKS! She says the last thing with a smile [/b]Here is an ingredient list. Are you allergic to anything on this list? and I have a surprise for you![b/]
She hand each of you a list. The list is of local fish, spices, and herbs. Nothing is extremely worrying, but the other thing she hands you is a small bag. Each bag has 25gp, so each of you get 25 gold!
I want to thank you! This is the remainder of my grant. I was able to get things a bit cheapper, so I feel I should pass this on to each of you. Tomorrow I will make a big feast and we can set out the day after morning.
You can all rest up, and you get a full day off to shop and do anything else you want. What do you want to do or say?
