Tristan Vaughan |

Standard attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Unarmed damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Tristan considers the skeletons momentarily, before coming to some kind of internal conclusion and offering a grim smile. He steps forward and with quick, precise motions shatters several relatively fragile bones.

Athromar Karthis |

Round 2
Armitron again channels energy to bring down the skeletal foes.
Channel Positive Energy - Harm Undead 1d6 ⇒ 1
Channel 1/6 for the day remaining.
Even 6 months later the dice roller hates this character!

Dungeon Monkey |

The bandit leader on the landing looks at the party below him and points a finger. A wave of enervation falls on the party
Channel negative energy. DC 13 Will save for 1/2 damage. Everyone seems to be in the 30' radius
negative energy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10
bandit saves: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 41d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
One bandit crumples to the floor. The other looks stricken

Dungeon Monkey |

The remaining skeleton swats at Tristan with frosty clawed hands
claw1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (1) = 5 1d6 is frost damage
crit confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 41d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
claw2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (3) = 6 1d6 is frost damage

Athromar Karthis |

Round 2
Will save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Athromar succumbs to the burst of negative energy.
I should have dealt 2 not 1 damage to the Skeleton last round for the Sun Domain, need to keep that in mind for next time assuming I don't die here!
HP = -1/9

Jeydavu of Hellirinn |

will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
The negative energy strikes Jeydavu wracking his body with pain. Fortunately, he is able to resist some it. He strikes at the bandit next to the table with his scimitar.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
He then takes a step back to prevent the bandits from surrounding him.
hp: 9/14

Atk1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d8 ⇒ 2
Atk2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 101d8 ⇒ 7
Ten Penny does the same with a wicked-looking crossbow
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d8 ⇒ 1
One arrow and the crossbow bolt hit home, the man wincing at the strikes
The final skeleton walks over the prone form of Tristan and strikes at Gaelin
atk with frost dam: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (2) = 4
fumble confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (5) = 9
The skeleton's bony foot slips on Tristan's prone body and pitches off the stairs
falling dam: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11
The frosted bones blow apart under the force of the fall, scattering over the floor
Time for Gaelin!

Athromar Karthis |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

The open stairway is more dangerous than my character LOL.

Gaelin Northvein |

Will save: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Gaelin endures the full brunt of the negative energy and is still standing, but the subsequent assault by the skeleton is too much and he collapses.
10 damage from the channel, plus 8 from the skeleton (after factoring cold resistance) drops Gaelin to -3.

I don't think the skele got you, Gaelin...

Gaelin Northvein |

Seeing his companions stricken down, the normally well-mannered Taldane warrior lets out a bestial roar and pursues the evil cleric with singular purpose.
Raging. I think I can reach him in a move.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

While his allies tend their wounds, Gaelin approaches the orc woman. "You fought beside us, for which I am grateful. Are there any other bandits still here? Are they all accounted for?"
Ten Penny nods
"I am grateful you have released me from my captivity. There might be a few sick ones, but I think you have killed all the ones able to fight. There is though.."
Ten Penny looks about and lowers her voice
"Rokhar had meetings with some sort of creature. If I had to guess, some sort of winter fey. They had an alliance of mutual convenience. It lives somewhere nearby, but rarely came here except to give Rokhar orders."

Gaelin Northvein |

"We should keep the sick bandits under guard - or lock and key if we find a spot for it," Gaelin suggests to his companions. "We are too wounded to go out hunting this fey creature, but this lodge should be defensible. We will have to take it in turn to act as lookouts in case any of these dark creatures should think to pay a visit."
