Male Oread Arctic Druid 2

Jeydavu charges the nearest bandit and swings his scimitar. attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 +2 if allowed to charge , damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

female Sylph rogue 2

Sahsara will shoot another bandit while they are still flat footed
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (3) = 8
She will then stow her bow.

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Still outside the archway, Gaelin turns on the figure on the stairs. His greatsword still in hand, he swings at one of the skeletons.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

I should have a map up by tomorrow

Male Half-elf Monk 1

Standard attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Unarmed damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Tristan considers the skeletons momentarily, before coming to some kind of internal conclusion and offering a grim smile. He steps forward and with quick, precise motions shatters several relatively fragile bones.

Round 2

Armitron again channels energy to bring down the skeletal foes.

Channel Positive Energy - Harm Undead 1d6 ⇒ 1

Channel 1/6 for the day remaining.

Even 6 months later the dice roller hates this character!

Bribes always welcome

WT ACTUAL F? I had the bandits and Rokhar's posts up here! ARRRGH! I'll be reposting about two hours from now >:(

OK. I am working on this. I'm sorry but I picked up a lot of extra hours at work. Here is the redone map as she stands.

>Lodge Fight<

Two bandits and a skeleton are down.

Bribes always welcome

The bandit leader on the landing looks at the party below him and points a finger. A wave of enervation falls on the party

Channel negative energy. DC 13 Will save for 1/2 damage. Everyone seems to be in the 30' radius

negative energy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10

bandit saves: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 41d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16

Ecaterina: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Bribes always welcome

The remaining skeleton swats at Tristan with frosty clawed hands

claw1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 2 + (1) = 5 1d6 is frost damage

crit confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 41d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

claw2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d4 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + (3) = 6 1d6 is frost damage

OK that should be it. ROUND 2!

M Shadow's Status | Human Cleric 2 | HP 9/25 | Channels 1/8 | AC = 16 | F+4|R+3|W+4 | Per +6 |Init +4

Round 2

Will save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Athromar succumbs to the burst of negative energy.

I should have dealt 2 not 1 damage to the Skeleton last round for the Sun Domain, need to keep that in mind for next time assuming I don't die here!

HP = -1/9

female Sylph rogue 2

Will Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Sahsara goes unconscious the moment the channel hits her and collapses to the floor.

Male Oread Arctic Druid 2

will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

The negative energy strikes Jeydavu wracking his body with pain. Fortunately, he is able to resist some it. He strikes at the bandit next to the table with his scimitar.

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12, damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

He then takes a step back to prevent the bandits from surrounding him.

hp: 9/14

Bribes always welcome

Jeydavu strikes the final bandit to the floor

Male Half-elf Monk 1

Will save 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Tristan falls under the skeleton's claws, wracked by cold and unholy energies.

Stabilization: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

Well that was lucky. Hp -11, CON...12.

Bribes always welcome

Yikes. This is evolving into a TPK. Durn modules..

The man on the platform howls out a derisive laugh.

"You think to best ME? FOOLS!"

Bribes always welcome

Initiatives (Bandit brawl)
Rokhar: 20 (neg energy)
Ten Penny: 14 (crossbow-hit)
Ecaterina: 13 (down)

Sahsara: 11 (down)
Skeleton 11 (humpty dumpty)

Gaelin 9 (pending)
Jeydavu: 9 (atk-kill)
Bandits all dead

Tama aims her bow at the man on the landing

Atk1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 231d8 ⇒ 2

Atk2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 101d8 ⇒ 7

Ten Penny does the same with a wicked-looking crossbow

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d8 ⇒ 1

One arrow and the crossbow bolt hit home, the man wincing at the strikes

The final skeleton walks over the prone form of Tristan and strikes at Gaelin

atk with frost dam: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (2) = 4

fumble confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d4 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (5) = 9

The skeleton's bony foot slips on Tristan's prone body and pitches off the stairs

falling dam: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11

The frosted bones blow apart under the force of the fall, scattering over the floor

Time for Gaelin!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The open stairway is more dangerous than my character LOL.

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Will save: 1d20 ⇒ 1

Gaelin endures the full brunt of the negative energy and is still standing, but the subsequent assault by the skeleton is too much and he collapses.

10 damage from the channel, plus 8 from the skeleton (after factoring cold resistance) drops Gaelin to -3.

I don't think the skele got you, Gaelin...

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Doh! You're right. I was looking at the post that said Tristan. In that case...

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Seeing his companions stricken down, the normally well-mannered Taldane warrior lets out a bestial roar and pursues the evil cleric with singular purpose.

Raging. I think I can reach him in a move.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Bringing the hurt: 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 4) + 12 = 19

Bribes always welcome

Gaelin's mighty sword stabs the cleric in mid-gloat. He gurgles and falls off the landing, sprawling among the bones of his undead minion

Congrats all. That was close

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Gaelin surveys his stricken companions.

Who is down and needs to be stabilized, and who is up?

female Sylph rogue 2

Stabilize: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Sahsara mumbles something that sounds like "funky pulpits". She looks stable but still unconscious.

"Well, that's done then"

Tama goes to see what she can do for the stricken

Tama will use her sacred touch ability to automatically stabilize everyone

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

While his allies tend their wounds, Gaelin approaches the orc woman. "You fought beside us, for which I am grateful. Are there any other bandits still here? Are they all accounted for?"

Ten Penny nods

"I am grateful you have released me from my captivity. There might be a few sick ones, but I think you have killed all the ones able to fight. There is though.."

Ten Penny looks about and lowers her voice

"Rokhar had meetings with some sort of creature. If I had to guess, some sort of winter fey. They had an alliance of mutual convenience. It lives somewhere nearby, but rarely came here except to give Rokhar orders."

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

"We should keep the sick bandits under guard - or lock and key if we find a spot for it," Gaelin suggests to his companions. "We are too wounded to go out hunting this fey creature, but this lodge should be defensible. We will have to take it in turn to act as lookouts in case any of these dark creatures should think to pay a visit."

Ten Penny speaks up

"They also have a prisoner held in a chamber under the floor. I can show you. Some aristo woman. I think they were going to ransom her"

Male Oread Arctic Druid 2

Jeydavu goes over to the cleric's body and rummages around for anything of value that may help his allies. "Maybe the leader has a potion of healing on him.

perception to search the cleric's body: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Male Human (Ulfen) Urban Barbarian 2 [HP 36/36; AC 17]

Gaelin nods at Jeydavu. "Yes, we should see if there is anything we can use here."

"The prisoner could be Lady Argentea. We should locate her at once. Can you take me to the chamber where she is being held?" he asks Ten Penny.

Bribes always welcome

I don't have the module on me, so I'm going to have to wait to get you the loot totals, possibly Monday

Ten Penny nods

"the cell is under a rug in the front foyer. There's a padlock, but Rokhar should have the key"
