Born to human parents in the Taldan village of Heldren, Tristan is afflicted by a witch's curse that twisted his body and granted him strange powers. Ostracized and feared by the other children, he often sought refuge at the local apothecary, where he would help Tessaria with her duties. A skilled brawler from frequent fistfights, his knowledge of anatomy from his studies has only enhanced his fighting ability.
Tristan is deeply suspicious of all manner of arcane magic, but bears a special grudge against witchcraft. Now approaching adulthood, he is more than ready to leave Heldren, he's just waiting for a reason.
