The incredible sound of the battle disrupts Monia's concentration and the Ork she was trying to set in flame continues its wild charge.
Leni and Celephix both fire at the same Ork, Cel missing by a few inches, Leni's bolt striking home with precision, leaving a clearly visible hole in the left leg of one of the shooting Orks, slowing its advance significantly.
Simmins stubber continues to cause havoc in the lines of the Orks at the trenches. One Ork topples over from two heavy hits, to not rise again in the near future. Two more stray shots hit another Ork who is pushed back from the force of impacts but rises again a few seconds later.
Finally, Thud'dr - bleeding from several bullet holes - bellows a War cry of considerable force and charges towards the closest Ork, who is lit in witchfire and clubbing at a poor, young Private. The thunderous charge of the Ogryn batters two guardsmen out of his way before he hits the unsuspecting Ork with the full force of his enormous body and the blade of his ripper gun. The swing connects and rips an arm long part of the Orks chest open, splattering blood all over the young private and sends the Ork to the ground from the force of the impact.
Halfway to the ground, a high-powered lasbolt from Ashora rips through the opened wound, cooking the Orks intestines with lasfire, leaving a well-done Ork to Thud'drs feet.

Ork Round 8:
One of the Ork who witnessed the Ohryns thunderous charge, yells joyfully and ignores the guardsmen he was fighting moments before to get to the Ogryn faster. "Oiiahhhrg! Ta big hummi knows how Ta fight! Boys leave me Ta big 'un, eh!" Several gutteral voices answer with laughter and screams of "Harhar, not a chance!"

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin…:

Shooty-Wire 25: 3d100 ⇒ (9, 62, 41) = 112

Despite their overwhelming numbers the Ork make only small progress in pushing back the few guardsmen holding the line, slowly pushing them back but not able to keep up their momentum now that they are caught in the joy of melee.
The Ork who engaged Thud'dr so eagerly manages a hit on the big Ogryn but it misses the deadly force the Ogryn just displayed and the hit only manages to rattle the big bones.
The Orks walking beside the trenches keep pouring fire into the defenders in the back. Showering them with another volley of gunfire.

Monia: 8, Simmins: 6

The fire from those Orks from the razor wire falls mostly short, a few shots landing at Simmins cover, but don't penetrate it. Three of the remaining Orks have crossed the wire now and start their charge towards the line – leaving two of their number behind.

The top hatch of Doombringer opens and Ren'Shaw helmeted head appears. He readies the top mounted heavy Stubber and starts to send a barrage of well-aimed shells at the Orks walking beside the trenches.
The force of the burst throws one of the Orks down into the trenchline, where he lands face first in the dirt a few feet behind the Ogryn.
Two lasbolts from guardsmen find their mark at another charging Ork, slowing his movement to a crawl and leaving pitch-black holes in it's chest.

Celephix evaluates the battlefield, Thrud'r and Monia seem to be under heaviest fire, Celephix makes her way towards her, switching up to semi-auto to try and attract some fire. Sending some flashy las-bolts vaguely in the direction of the Orcs.

BS(36+10?): 1d100 ⇒ 61

The young Private, Notch and the towering Ogryn manage to stop the majority of Orks, as the melee gets bogged down. The press of so many boodies, locked in a ferocious melee is incredible and - beside the Private - no participant even tries to evade the blows, strikes and brutal hits that are exchanged. Thud'drs Ripper gun crashes down at the closest Ork, with crushing force and a hideous sound. The Ork roars with defiance and throws himself at the larger creature - only to be caught mid-jump by a precisely aimed laser bolt from Ashora witch throws it to the ground, where it is trampled by the follow-up Orks.
In the middle of the pool of Orks eager to join the fight, one is suddenly lit in witchfire, causing the Ork to fall to his knees and is howling in pain.
A burst of fire from Simmins stubber goes wide and the team's medic only manages a glancing shot on one of the Orks, slightly slowing it's advance - to the frustration of the Xeno as it shouts and widely swings his blazing gun around. Celephix moves carefully through the trench, shooting some lasbolts that sadly miss her target by a couple of meters. She crosses half the distance between her and Monia with her movement and just passed Simmins position. You're the purple dot. I have updated the map accordingly.

The first artillery round lands only a few meters north of the bunker, shaking the already damaged building through like an earthquake. Large junks of the ceiling comes crashing down and showers of shrapnel's bounce off the concrete with zipping sounds. Muffled screams from the inside tells everyone close-by that at least one of the remaining guardsmen inside was caught by the falling debris - or worse. A billowing cloud of dust washes over all within 5m of the bunker (that's Leni) making sigh (and breath) an exercise all by itself. -10BS, Toughness +30 test or loose half your round coughing up, -20BS to anyone shooting at you
The second round lands just beside the swirling melee - a few meters behind the trenchline. The one remaining Ork walking on that side of the trench is simply gone the next time you take a look. The Orks on the other side of the trenchline are showered with shrapnel's, the rear one is on the ground trying to get up with a large fragment deeply embedded in his foot.
The melee inside the trenchline continues to rage with unhindered madness - seemingly ignorant to the death that missed them by only a couple of meters. Although the earth is shaking under the explosion, the Orks keep their stand and keep their pressure on those few imperial soldiers holding them back from spilling into the trench like a green, deadly wave.

In their eager to get past the defenders, two Orks to the rear of the mob start to climb the trench, obviously trying to bypass the melee to get into a fight with those further back in the trenches.
The Orks pressing Thud'dr and the Private changes tactic as well, trying to wrestle them down, to allow their kin to pass. But Thud'drs mighty, enraged strength simply repels that attempt and the young private easily ducks away from that attempt.
Another Ork of the mob lobs a grenade towards Monia, which lands 4 meter behind her, endangering not only her but potentially Simmins and Celephix as well! You're free to use any of the evasive actions according to the new rules, since the grenade was not cooked and will explode at the start of the Ork's next turn.
But not enough with that! The other Ork who was walking beside the trenches and who was not hit from shrapnel's now charges Monia with a wild run along the trench followed by jump from atop the trench. The force of the attack is brutal, and may prove fatal in her already bloodied state! Dodge or parry or receive 13 R, Pen:2 to the Body!

The young Private beside Thud'dr manages a quick stab at the Ork, but the Xeno is only grunting at the small cut on his leg.

A long burst of stubber fire from Doombring tries to suppresses the Orks coming from the razor wire, even hitting two of the Orks with the hail of fire. Two Orks cower below the burst of fire, their advance slowed considerably, the other two try to press on. Both get shot, one of them suffers a severe wound to the leg and falls to the ground with a mangled leg. Only one advances quickly through the firestorm, crossing about a third of the distance to the trenchline - their return fire falling short again.

The new heavy gunner of the squad unleashes a fearsome salvo from his heavy stubber - seemingly every bullet finds its mark, ripping the already wounded Ork to bloody ribbons with the first shoot. His next target, the Ork who just barely climbed the side of the trench, takes the brunt of the salvo. Five hits are necessary to put the creature down on his knees and the last hit penetrate its abdomen and the guts of the creature begins to splatter on the ground before it.
Celephixs quick reaction saves the inperials from an orkish grenade by throwing it back the way it came. The explosive goes off a few meter behind the Ork mob trying to pass Thud'dr showering their backs with shrapnel's.

The Ork which is still lit with witchfire is caught by a shrapnel in the chest and simply toppels over, the fire consuming its body quickly, and another one yells in pain as it is hit in the leg.
The yell is overshadowed by the grunting of the Ork currently engaged with Thud'dr. A hard hit from the frenzied Ogryn catches the Xeno square on the chest. The force if the attack should have been enough to break every bone in a human body, but the Xeno remain upright and prepares a retaliation attack.

The melee fight rages on, Thud'dr, Monia are both hit by a glancing blow and are even more lucky as the furious backhand attack of their respective Orks miss them by a few inches. The young Private beside Thud'dr dodges two orkish attacks like a weasel. Another Xeno has climbed the trench - on the opposite side of Simmins onslaught and charges into the second trenchline were he surprises and quickly puts down a guardsmen feverishly trying to prepare his bayonet. His death cry echos through the second trench only a few seconds later...
The fire coming from the razorwire Orks is ... off as usual.

Thud'dr takes 7R, Pen:3 damage

The privates return stroke misses the Ork he was aiming for, but the supressive fire coming from Doombringer continues to ravage the approaching Orks, scoring two hits. The Orks cover from the torrent of fire, only the foremost Ork tries to wade through it, one stubber round hits his leg, throwing it to the ground with a severe wound. Nevertheless it stands up again, obviously eager to continue its charge towards the Imperial line...
Back in the second trenchline, a lasgun opens up at semi auto on maximum setting.
Team vox: "OH EMPEROR NO! GET OFF HER YOU DAMN THING! 2ND TRENCH BREACHED! ONE DOWN!"

The battle gets bloodier as the melee with the Orks rages on. Thud'dr and Monia both suffer from grave injuries, especially Monia looks bad, her blood pours out from a huge chest wound and her movements are getting slower and somewhat sluggish.

Not so her mind, which sends a small stone flying at the attacking Ork at high velocity, catching the blinded Orks arm - ripping away it's hideous weapon with a sickening sound. The arm dangles at it's side - semingly useless! The Ork stumbles back, howling in pain and rage - a stubber salvo from Simmins flies over its head, sadly missing the Xeno by a feet.

Thud'drs rage is deep and bottomless and he simply ignores the new wound the Ork dealt him and continues to batter the Xeno with the blade of his huge gun. This bashing hit from the ebraged Ogryn leaves the Ork in a really bad shape. With a sharp 'knark' a splintered bone fragment penetrated the left arm of the Ork, leaving it's arm dangling useless at it's side, huge amounts of blood pouring down it's side.

Leni's stubborn fire finally starts to wear down the front Ork coming from the razor wire. As it just tries to stand up from the previous hit from Doombringer's stubber fire, her lasbolt throws the Xeno back to the ground with a small torched hole in it's chest.

Celephix climbs the side of the trench and sets fire to the small pool of Promethium right beside Doombringer with a shoot from her lasgun. The flamable liquid immediatly starts to lit up, sending a huge black cloud into the air and filling it with the unique smell of burning Promethium ...
Botted Celephix this round, to move on. Thought you would probably have gone with Leni's idea anyway. Consider yourself standing right beside your previous position up in between the trenches. You are able to shoot at any target from your position, but you may be an easy target for anyone as well.

Thud'drs enemy still keeps himself up, trying to hit the Ogryn with the fist of his good hand, failing miserably. Not so the two other Orks ganging up on the young private - who is slaughtered by the two enraged Orks with a series of four hits. The sheer brutality and relentlessly of the attack renders the poor soldier into nothing but strips of gore and blood, drenching a 4m area in his blood and intestines that make the ground hideously slippery! Everyone within 4m make a Agility (+0) test or fall prone!
Two of the three remaining Orks in the first trench immediatly slip and fall to the ground, now thoroughly drenched in the blood of their last victim!
The Ork that breached the second trench, charges the next enemy, but it's wild swing does not connect this time though.
A lucky shot from the pinned Orks near the razor wire manages a hit on Leni's cover - luckily the small arm projectile is not able to penetrate her sandbag-cover.
