The party advances into the rough, unfinished expanse of the cavern. Clearly there were natural formations here before the prison was built and the cells excavated.

The air hisses and pops and the scent of acid and ozone washes through your nostrils as an enormous oozing blob bulges towards the party!

It's hard to tell if your weapons did any damage as it's an amorphous blob. The fire and electrical attacks seemed to have some impact (burning off some of the mass), but you just can't be sure about your weapons.

Two weapons actually DID fail the save and that was the acidic popping and hissing you heard from them (and damage rolls). The good news is that the weapons hardness (10) was resistant to the damage.

After a scrutinous review by Randtam the group comes to the firm conclusion that there is nothing of great use from the goo. Randtam figures that he could use it for some obscure and arcane experiments on the nature of non-sentient-animate matter, but that besides academia it is useless.

With a click and a whirr, stone grinds on stone and the door opens into a cell and the final cell block.

making an assumption before I get any information. I am assuming this is some sort of fear based Attack. You may have mixed up save bonus on Uuranx and Vraxel. It may not matter but if a DC will 17 helps Uuranx ...

I casted protection from evil, there are instances when I get an automatic reroll of a save at a +2 according to the spell. Is this one of these instances?

If it is will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

If not wandofrestore: 1d4 ⇒ 2
