I believe we are simply moving at a slower pace than some of the other games.
Also, I believe we have all had some real life issues going on as well.
So, just one of those times.
Also, still dealing with significant issues on multiple fronts myself.

Yeah, sorry about this guys. I've just never been that interested in this AP (this has nothing to do with any of you or the DM, you're all f#~*ing awesome!) and so far it seems I've been the one dragging my feet the most and causing a lot of the delays.
Hope you all have a blast in this campaign and best of luck! :3

Talenvere Steelguard |

as always a pleasure playing with you, I am still working on my diet evil im afraid the more we go the more im sure i will get a better feel for Talenvere. It was safe to assume we can use some of the guards armor and gear then still yes? not counting into our gear request?

Talenvere Steelguard |

assuming we can keep the gear from the guards my list of purchases goes something like this...
daggers x 8 - 16 gp
composite shortbow (+1 str) 150 gp
their were at elast 100 arrows from the guards i would like to keep 40 of them.
the guards also had a chain shirt (well 4 of them to be exact) I would keep one of those.
The masterwork theives tools in the veil i woudl imagine he kept with him, heck he kept the veil itself with its window and other unused items (looking over the back logs to see what might be left) I mean after all the pretty and probbaly evil beyond belief Tiadora did give it to him right?)

Evil is not new to me, playing it...in a tasteful way, is.
Thank you for your clarity RL.
Now, we need a healer somehow, at some point.
Thoughts, ideas, etc?
Some one play a second character, recruitment, should I stat out Engela?

Tolus Soulrender |

Dude, I am all over the healer bit. In spades.
Really, the only major gap I see with us is true divine casting.

Ekkehardt |

So, re-reading Tolus's character sheet, instead of recalling it from memory, I recant my previous statement.
I am not familiar with the Vitalist.
I will now consume the shoe of your choice, sir.
Please pass the Soy Sauce.
Left or Right boot?

Tolus Soulrender |

Right, heel first, if you please. :)
On second thought my toes might get cold, so I'll take a rain check on that.

Shinoko |

This is Shinoko's service dog!!

Currently, you lack ranged DPR, a full arcane caster, and any sort of divine magic. While it'll make things more difficult, it's actually not that big of a deal as long as you're smart and careful. Additionally, Leadership is a viable option later on. Still, if you want me to recruit another PC or two, just let me know. :-)

Tolus Soulrender |

Just let me gestalt with cleric. Then I'll get SCARY good at my job. :)
Seriously though, I'm fine with who we have.

Tolus Soulrender |

Or, why not, run this whole campaign gestalt and get yourself into trouble. :P
Awww, c'mon. You know it'd be fun.

Tolus Soulrender |

Awww, sucks.
I'm good with Sigrun, especially if she goes ranged and protects my fragile behind. :)

Talenvere Steelguard |

And Sigrun's cool... well her player is... sigruns also... whatever you get the gist. AS long as they dont make and weird creepy cannibal clowns im cool and even then im cool if they do just *shudder*

Your Benevolent Dictator |

@Dungeoneers: Shinoko's idea is actually pretty decent. After all, your instructions were to "retrieve the amulet in 24hrs." How you go about it is up to you. Cardinal Thorn is using the dungeon to identify your individual strengths and weaknesses in order to help you become the badasses he believes you can be.
Also, a small hint: while it isn't nearly as lethal as he would like, this section bears some similarities with Grimtooth's material. Puzzles are fun! ;-)

Your Benevolent Dictator |

Example 1: Adventurers used to carry 10ft poles to probe for floor traps. Grimtooth had buttons that triggered a pit trap 11ft away.
Example 2: Adventurers faced with a deep ravine would lasso a stalactite and swing across. Grimtooth would put an invisible wall on the other side. Then the stalactite would collapse. Then a Gelatinous Cube would fall from the newly-revealed hole.
Grimtooth's traps often screwed with the PCs by modifying the PLAYERS' expectations. Plus, they were deliberately designed to be system neutral, so no CRs, saving throw DCs, or damage dice. Only skull ratings to indicate the level of lethality.
