Agh, this is so Sholano's favorite thing, this was a terrible time for me to be out of touch. Booo! Ah, well, here we go.

Sholano is utterly convinced that the art of manipulation is the best and surest road to getting one's goals met, and is pretty used to judging basically everyone by that benchmark. Celestine's passing the test. (Sidebar - since she's apparently a worthy opponent, in their downtime, he may well end up hitting on her more than I actually bother narrating. Sorry! He's kinda a jerk!)
When it comes to situations like this, he may be a little bit better at the talky game than her, but she's right up there with him, especially if/when she can back it up with magic. He'll definitely recognize that fact. We'll just need to have a quiet word with some of the others to let us do our chatty thing in situations like this, then get to work on tag-teaming potential marks. Sholano's gonna put forth an immediate fervent request that at least Celestine (and preferably everybody) learn Drow Sign Language, or even concoct their own version of some kind of thieves' cant. So much easier than trying to work in double-talk secret messages into every conversation.

Just realized I never added an extra language known after adding a rank in Linguistics at level up. Going with Draconic, if there's no objection. Next level he'll start pestering folks to make up our own secret language, or at least learn Drow Hand Sign.

Not a problem. With the upcoming hurricane, it's possible that I'll have a similar issue for a day or two. What's your preferred course of action? I'm assuming you'll transform into a red dragon, spend a spell point to maintain without concentration, and go nuts with claw/claw/bite action. Anything else I should know?

That's pretty much it. If I expect combat to be coming up, I'll prebuff up with an Armor and possibly a Deflection Aegis to boost my shapeshifted AC.
This alias has my go to shapeshift form, without buffs.

I've added an editable map to the campaign header. Erick's belowdecks (marked by the red square), and the Mitran ship is in the northeast quadrant of the map (roughly marked by the gray X). There are eight bow-wielding sailors aboard in addition to the four members of the boarding party. That means there are a total of 13 Mitrans.
Captain Odenkirk and the rest of the crew will not be participating in combat, as I don't want to further clutter up the map. Assume they're in empty map squares for purposes of flanking and AoE effects.

Ooooh, I may need to pick this up. As someone who picked up the Advanced Bestiary already, I can say it's an incredibly valuable resource to improvise new and exciting monsters, or to add a bit of spice to "yet another _____ encounter."

It's an incredible deal. Deep Magic is a great spell resource (although some of the material needs some tweaking). Quests of Doom has some seriously awesome adventures in it (one involves skeletal dragons and a flying castle of giants). I really like the Reapers from the Advanced Race Compendium. Rappan Athuk speaks for itself. And that's just the stuff I already had. XD The $15 tier includes a complete 1-15 Adventure Path.

Rappan Athuk is amazing. XD Not much obvious plot - that's for the GM to insert - but the sheer scale of the place is astounding. That ALONE is easily worth several times the bundle's highest tier. XD And there's a bunch of other neat things in it, too.

Just had a chance to read up on Spheres of Power staves, and as mentioned, it's exactly what I need for my Protection sphere to get it up to effectively full caster level. Sweet :D
