Housekeeping matters:
Can everyone state his or her time zone and the time they tend to be online, you can post here or send me a PM.
I know real life happens and that can affect the posting rate but communication is key both from the DM and the players. If I’m going to be slow posting I will tell you, I hope you do the same. I currently run an exceptionally active and well managed campaign that is about to hit its 15,000th post in 9 months time, you can count on me completing this module. The posting rate in this game will be much slower but I’d like to complete this in 2 to 3 months of time, if possible. The posting rate could go up especially if most of us find ourselves online at the same time.
Generally, you can expect a post from me in the morning, afternoon, and then a couple in the evening. My game tends to have a table- top feel to it, if you’ve read any of my other campaign you will see what I mean.
I will use spoilers tabs often, those are geared towards the player it ‘s directed to, I don’t mind if others read those spoiler but don’t metagame. Since this is a horror themed game reading others spoilers could, also, spoil your suspense.
Posting:*
1. GM rolls initiative.
2. I will link a map at the beginning of each round and often an updated map towards the middle of the round. Please tell me the map coordinates for your movement. Otherwise, you run the risk of me moving you and if there is a chance of an AoO, I will take it.
3. I, generally, post mid-round updates and end of round summaries.
4. I don't mind if you post out of turn, especially if you won't be online. I will do my best to fit the action in, or I will fill the gap in a semi-logical manner.
5. I do not use delay/ready actions to switch/swap initiative orders, as that becomes problematic for me, the DM, to track on the boards. I do permit you to hold your action especially if you are waiting some tactical action.
6. I, generally, do not redo actions that becomes problematic to track and then redo the ripple down effects.
7. A natural "1" on an attack roll is a possible fumble. The player makes a DC10 DEX check, including any ability modifier in the roll. A number below a 10 means you have either dropped your melee weapon or snapped your bow/crossbow string or your thrown weapon was dropped.
8. I've been playing for years, mostly GMing, I know the rules but I do make mistakes especially with all the Pathfinder's tweaks. I follow the written rules but I'm not hardcore especially if it moves the story along. If I make an error made please point it out and provide a book and page reference or link to the PFSRD.
*These are, also, posted under the campaign information tab.

Welcome to the discussion thread and the gameplay. I’ve gone ahead and assigned the following characters:
Takeo (Ashe)
Masumi (Black Thom)
Kichiri (Zack Maud’Dweed)
Hajime (Lucrezia)
Akoi (Pedwiddle)
Go to the campaign information tab and look at the character. You will note that there are blanks and incomplete stats. I need each of you to roll a d4 here, and I will provide you with additional information. Please mark on your profile the dice roll for future reference, I know this is somewhat vague it will make sense later.
Cut and paste your character into your profile. If you can take a few minutes and select an avatar. Then place the following information on the profile:
AC, current HP/total HP, Perception, saves
You will note you do not have any possession(s) that is not a mistake, I’m smiling….

Checking in - thanks, and all that.
I'm in MST (GMT-0700, I believe). I generally check my active campaigns several times during the day - a little sporadically based on workload and such, but generally in the morning, around lunch, and several times at night. I'll usually work my way through any new posts in my various PbP's, and post when there's something to post (responding to others' actions and the like, rather than just posting to say I'm doing nothing).
1d4 ⇒ 1
EDIT - I'm sensing a trend...

Akio |

GM - any objection to me taking the info about my character and putting it into my normal alias form (spoilers separating information into categories)? I'm not familiar with how the information is laid out, and am having a little trouble finding info quickly.

Akio |

First, it looks like Akio has one too many skill points (assuming he's not human, and doesn't get the extra skill point per level).
Climb: 10 (7 ranks + 3 (class skill)) (+ Str)
Knowledge (Religion): 7 (4 ranks + 3 (Int))
Profession (Soldier): 10 (7 ranks + 3 (class skill) + 0 (Wis))
Ride: 10 (7 ranks + 3 (class skill)) (+ Dex)
Stealth: 7 (7 ranks) (+ Dex)
Survival: 7 (4 ranks + 3 (class skill) + 0 (Wis))
Akio gets 2 + 3 (Int) skill points per level, for 7 levels, so either Knowledge (Religion) or Survival would seem to have an extra point in it.
Second, the armor training bonus you listed was to reduce ACP by 4. RAW, a 7th level fighter would only reduce ACP by 2, but would move at full speed in heavy armor. I didn't know if this was GM fiat, or if he traded the movement for an extra 2 ACP reduction, or....?
Thanks!

Hajime - UfD |

Swamped and almost ready to go insane. It was tabletop day again, and all of us players have small children. One four year decided to loudly sing the same one line of a song over and over again for about an hour. And no that is not an exaggeration of the time. His dad's annoying habit is another story.
4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 6, 6) = 20
3d10 ⇒ (3, 8, 3) = 14
+11
45+46 = 91 HP
Did I do that right?

baldwin the merciful |

wow, those are pretty bad stats for an archer, surprised he lived to level 7
The random roll provided which stats were assigned. It will eventually make sense... remember you have amnesia. Snippets of memory will come back.
I'll let you roll the d4 again if you want. I don't want you disappointed. However, there is nothing higher than 18 stat and it may not necessarily be in your dex. This is all part of the randomness and trying to figure out what is happening.

not sure on Takeo HP, you had 7d10+20 + 7 favored class + con
what is the +20, and you had base of 50. Shouldn't it mbe max 10 level 1 + 36 for a total of 46+7 favored + 21 con for 74?
The designer didn't layout the base numbers more than then what was provided. It would have easier to provide the Hp (without showing the calculations) and state add (7)times the random Con modifier.
Starting at 74 works for this one-shot module.

Heeeere's Kichiro!
I'm in EST, (East Coast, USA).
I can post most often between 9 AM and 4 PM during the week; on the weekends, it'll be spottier.

As an FYI the Necrotic Warrior is new upcoming class in the 3p publisher's setting. That is why there is little, if any, information available. However, everything to play the character is on the sheet. The publisher did provide me with a bit more information, if that becomes necessary.

You use the snippets to try to figure out who you are, what your purpose is, why your here, what happened to you, how you ended up in a tomb, your ultimate goal and it provides general background. You basically remember your name, and your fighting style/class - rogue/scout, front line fighter, spellcaster, and so forth.
Overall this is not a very long adventure - 33 pages, roughly 16 pages of actual adventure. The remaining material was the pregens and DM aids.

baldwin the merciful |

So far four of the five PCs have checked in the game play thread.
I'm going to proceed on, if and when the last PC checks in he can catch-up. If he doesn't check in by tomorrow, I will let one of the others swap out characters if they'd like with his. His character is a new class based based on the 3PP material and it would be neat to playtest it. That being said the rogue and soc/fighter are critical to survival.

baldwin the merciful |

I wouldn't be opposed to tying new character. I like samurai for the feel, but I'm not an archery fan. I don't like yay I shoot again each round, gets boring to me.
If we are going to make a change lets do it before movement out of this room.
Kichiro has shown up, he was sick, but his "new class" looks interesting. I will let a second person sample that class out. Look at his base stats under the campaign information tab and roll a d4 for the random numbers. For consistency we will keep your name as Takeo but drop the Samuarai.
Does that work for you?

Takeo, Samurai |

I'm going to try out the necrotic warrior, so Akio if you want the samurail instead go for it.
@DM at first glance this class is pretty strong. Full BAB I assume, and casting.
How many necrotic strikes do you get a day?
1d4 ⇒ 3 roll for missing stats

baldwin the merciful |

Before we go any farther - Akio if you would like to play the Samurai now that Takeo switched, change that out before the combat begins. Roll a d4 for yoru random stats, if you choose to do so.
Sorry Masumi and Hajime your classes are important for survival, so lets not make any changes there.
