Male Kobold Level 1 Pistolero/Level 3 Trench Fighter

Clashing rips an arrow out of his shirt and tosses it disdainfully to the ground. "Is that all!?"

Hooray for Quilted Cloth DR! Though it appears you got a crit chance against me Larkin, do you want to roll that? I think Grigg's healing will cover a confirm regardless, but figured it's at least in good taste to make sure you're aware of it.

Ipreek looks about as the goblins fan about them, trying to get a bead on how many are about to come swarming in.

Perception (How many melee goblins?): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

One stray arrow strikes Clashing square in the chest delving deeply into the muscle of his chest.

In the flurry of what is happening he's unsure of how many attackers there are. He's thinks there are about 10 charging towards the kobolds as more fire arrows.

"Raawwr" Kax charges into the fray.

If there are at least 3 goblins in a 15' cone area:

He takes a deep breath and exhales a gout of fire, trying to angle it so as many of the pathetic creatures are burned as possible.
Draconic Breath: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 DC 16 reflex for half

If there aren't:

He draws his knife and slashes at the nearest foe.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Damage: 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4


Male Kobold Level 1 Pistolero/Level 3 Trench Fighter

No worries, everyone makes those mistakes and it's better that everyone can trust we're all playing on the up and up rather than weasel our ways out of things and turn the game into a GM v. Players business. :) Though Ipreek is actually still okay, between his DR 3 against small piercing projectiles thanks to the Quilted Cloth Armor, and the 7 healing, I just barely return to no damage even with the crit being pretty nasty.

Since they are farther off than I thought, we'll do this instead:

Kax draws his knife, moves 20' towards them down the middle of the tunnel and goes full defense (AC 27)
"Bring it on, you grimy snot balls!" He screams a challenge

Shadow Lodge

Yraalik decides a quicker spell will be better suited to the immediate task at hand. Chanting again, he throws the magic out at the goblins and creates a cloud of too bright dust in the thickest group of goblins.

Glitterdust, cast so the 10ft spread gets as many goblins as possible. DC 17 Will save or be blinded until a successful saving throw is made.

Actually I didn't have time to make a full post when I asked for that. I wouldn't delay just for your one roll, I would have just decided how many attack

4 Goblins, infuriated by Kax's words rush him calling "Get him!" and "Big lizard dies"

Attacks: 2d20 ⇒ (14, 12) = 26 +4 (with flanking bonus)
Attacks: 2d20 + 2 ⇒ (15, 2) + 2 = 19

But Kax is far to fast for all of them.

Yraak draws the attention of the final undazed goblin
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 but the goblin's attack is sloppy at best

Another flurry of arrows come down on the party
Clashing, Clashing, Grigg, Grigg: 4d20 ⇒ (10, 6, 2, 6) = 24 +4 Each
One scratches accross the head of the Dire Weasel causing him to hiss at the archers.

Everyone Except Scram can make a perception test

"That's right! I'm the big lizard here to gobble you all up!" Kax sidesteps out of the middle of them, takes a deep breath, and spits out a gout of flame, roasting several.

Draconic breath: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6

If they've surrounded him to flank, he 5' steps diagonally and should be able to get 3 of them in a 15' cone. DC 16 reflex for half.

One of the goblins collapses, burnt to a crisp. The rest continue, determined still.

Sorry, I'm used to a turn order being posted at the end. My Serpent's Skull DM spoiled me I guess.

Feeling brave, or perhaps foolish, Yraalik moves up close enough to fire a minor spell at the closest goblin.

Moving closer and casting Acid Splash.
Acid Splash: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 12 if the goblin is in combat.
Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

The goblin that Yraalik splashed takes an instantaneous dislike to him and charges him, screaming
"I kills you, I kills you!"
Charge attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Wounds: 1d4 ⇒ 2

The 4 left around Kax manoeuvre into flanking positions and attack again
Flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Flank attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
but none can penitrate his armour and shield

The one that Grigg withdrew from, chases him down
Charge Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 but swings wildly and misses completely

The archers unleash another volley at Clashing and Scratch
Arrows: 3d10 ⇒ (4, 10, 7) = 21 +4
None land even near the Koblod but one lodges in the Dire Weasel's leg causing him to hiss and back up. Scratch cannot see in the dark and has no clue as to where he's going.

Male Kobold Level 1 Pistolero/Level 3 Trench Fighter

Having discharged both pistols, Clashing Boom-Boom tosses the two guns over his shoulders, letting them dangle from the cord tying them into a brace from his neck. Drawing his rapiers with the same lightning speed as his pistols, Ipreek dashes into the fray with Kax, standing slightly off as he lashes out with his tail's attached blade.

Attack (Long Lash): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Flanking one of the burnt goblins surrounding kax, Clashing finishes it off with a rapier to the back. The goblin is skewered through the chest, and dies with a look of surprise and confusion on his face.

"you'll have to catch me first, wretched filth!" Yraalik snaps, stepping back a few feet. He seems to gather the darkness in his claws before throwing it at the goblin that dared attack him.

Binding Darkness, ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Binding Darkness, school power:
The shadows entangle your foe for 1 round plus 1 additional round for every five wizard levels you possess. In conditions of bright light, this duration is halved (minimum 1 round). A creature entangled by your shadows has concealment from those without darkvision or the ability to see in darkness, and other creatures likewise have concealment relative to it.

Scram was going to once more risk casting dancing lights since he's moved away and is hiding but since he's effectively blind. He's just going to sit out until the next turn where he'll cast Dancing Light blindly. I forgot I replaced my racial Darkvision.

Kax sidesteps again, releasing another gout of fire upon the wretched goblins surrounding him.

Another 5' step diagonally to get the remaining 3 of them. This one has a DC 15 reflex save for half.

A darkness entangles the Kobold attacking Yraalik, but does not completely stop him
"Kills you, kills you" it repeats in common

@Kax - your profile suggests that you can only use dragonsbreath once per day.


Male Kobold Level 1 Pistolero/Level 3 Trench Fighter

I think I see what he did there. The first time he used "Draconic Breath" the feat. The second time he used Dragonbreath the Domain ability. His wording indicates this as well as he does call them by different names, and the number of D6s changed from 2 to 3.

There is Dragon's Breath and there is Draconic Breath. One is a feat, and one is a domain ability (hence the different damage dice and save DCs. Some time later, he will pick up a third breath weapon ability, to further confuse things.

OK, no worries. I can't see how you could fit all 3 into your cone, but I'm being vague about things so I'm going to give you a 50-50 chance of catching the third one

One of the goblins manages to dart out of the way but the others are burnt to a crisp, only getting out short gurgled screams before collapsing.

The survivor charges Kax, desperate and angry
Charge attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 Crit
Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 Nope
Wounds: 1d4 ⇒ 3

The entangled goblin drags himeslf after Yraalik and swings at him again
Charge attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Wounds: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Yet another rain of arrows come down on the party
Clashing, Clashing, Grigg, Grigg: 4d20 ⇒ (16, 7, 11, 5) = 39 +4
Damage if hit: 4d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 3) = 11

None manage th hit the dire weasel but the animal backs itself into a cave wall noisily, none-the-less

@Scram - The crash sounds like it's very close to you

And it's the PCs turn again!

Kax stabs the Goblin through the eye and the creature flops to the ground dead.

@Grigg - Your AC is the target number for an attack on you. 15 is a hit. Also you dispatched your own attacker. I'll take it that attack was on Yraalik's opponent, from a flanking position.

Scram is startled by the crash and not being able to see throws out his hands and casts Dancing Lights......somewhere...
lol. Really can't see....Maybe a level of oracle somewhere to fix this sight problem...

Clashing offers Kax a simple "Nice!" in Draconic as the final goblin around them gets shanked through the eye. Then as another arrow thunks into him rips another arrow from his armor, glad that he had the foresight to wear the arrow-catching design. Given his near immunity to their arrows, Boom-Boom charges into their ranks with abandon. "Come on ye' dandies! I've got more than enough for all of you!"

Not sure if I can reach the archers starting at Kax's general location, but I'm a gonna try! Will charge if I got a straight shot line to try and it's needed to get an attack in.

Acrobatics?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Attack (Rapier): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12+2 if charging
Damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

"Can one of you kill this wretched annoyance?!"Yraalick growls, backing up yet again and pointing a finger at the goblin's face as he spits out the words of his caustic spell.

Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
3 damage to myself so far. Ouch, for a wizard.

Seeing the green kobold charging their way the goblin archers break and flee. Some of them running directly into the Orcs behind them, being cut down in moments. These orcs let out no war cries and are suprisingly swift and efficient in their attacks.

The ensnared Goblin, seeing that all his allies are now either dead or fleeing screems
"No no, don't kill don't kill!!"

Scram manages to light something enabling him to see that the battle is over. Scratching Scratch absent mindly on his ears. Scram waits for the others to take stock of their situation.

Between Ipreek's DR against arrows and the healing already gotten? No damage.

Boom-Boom waves a salutation towards the Orcs, then turns his attention to cleaning his blades and reloading his firearms as he asks, "Common?"

Kax licks a little goblin blood off of his blade, then spits. He sheathes it and marches straight up to the orcs and declares in broken common, "There you's are. Takes us to the orc chief. We has things to discuss."

Kax is down 3 hp and hardly cares.

"And why should you live?" Yraalik growls, sneering at the goblin.


Male

Scram realises he has crawled behind a pillar the other side of which Scratch has backed into. The dire weasel calms visibly when he can see again and when he notices the remaining goblins are fleeing.

One of the Orcs steps forward to answer Clashing, a big brute, easily three times the size of a kobold. Kax speaks before he can get a word out, and the Orc responds in badly broken common
”You no order Orcs of Murdut tribe.” it says drawing a wicked looking sword and slamming his fist into his chest ”Gugrog show real fight you!
From behind another shadow comes a shorter figure, covered in darkened plate and bearing a double pole arm he speaks to Gugrog first in Orcish

Orcish:
”Calm yourself. These warriors may yet make good allies”
the larger orc nods begrudgingly but goes nowhere and keeps his sword in his hand. Here and there amongst the rocks and pillars Orcs reveal themselves. There is a total of nine, warriors all.
The one in the plate turns to the Kobolds and speaks in Draconic. Though his speech is childlike, it is impressive for an Orc
”Isssss am Murdutsss of the Murditsss clan. It issss me you wishsss to speaksss with. You fought wellsss and together we killsss many goblinsss. Pleasesss you, sitsss with me” Murdut sits cross legged on the ground laying his weapon beside him.

Responding to Yraalik, the goblin responds
”I... I... PLEASE!”
