Trouble in Atlantis
Game Master
Ebonnard Raloon
The unknown warriors have been chosen for their worth, and to prove their loyalty to the crown, where will this take you?
^ lul. And draugr catacombs are the only thing i could think of that compares to this
"EEER!!! EEER!!! He says struggling with his wraps
Male Undine Monk 5
turning to where Arvin sensed the creature and noticing it attempting to break free of its wrappings.
it may not actually be trying to harm us. Arvin warns as he forms a mass of water in front of him and fling it to capture the creature.
use capture Kata (range 30') DC 14 reflex to avoid. failure 1d6 ⇒ 4 damage and captured in a sphere of swirling water.
Congrats, you have captured a zombie that was already trapped in its own wrappings lol :P. Tell what you wanna do next :)
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
Anala purses her lips at the odd sound, looking around until she spots the creature as Arvin blasts it. "If it is dead as it appears then I am not sure what else it would want...
Male Undine Monk 5
it may escape its wrappings but this way its still trapped. I was thinking instead of undead it may be another champion that got himself trapped in the wrappings and left to die besides it will take 1d6 damage every round it is trapped untils it escapes or is dead (reflex save every round to escape)I need to concentrate each round to maintain as well
Lol it was good thinking arvin, thinking like that will keep you alive in here honestly
Soooooo i decided just to draw what you guys have explored so far in paint and then put it in google docs.... Never used it before and it didn't turn out great, but its a start lol
MAP
I think everyone should be able to see that if you have a google account. If you don't.... I will find another way to post maps lol
Male Undine Monk 5
need to make the settings public
I think that did maybe. Never used google docs before sorry :P
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
Excellent! Thanks for that Darvis, was hard to keep track of things, especially with half the info being in spoilers :p
Anala watches with pursed lips as the thing is pummeled in it's watery sphere, before turning her attention to the door. "If this room wasn't flooded then it seems likely the next one won't either..."
The Nixie pulls the bundled kit out again, absently handing the torch to Yaci for her companion to hold, and selecting the hammer and spikes. "Olrune? If you would be able to drive the spikes into the door, and then pull them free, the holes should allow the next room to fill without the sudden, turbulent flow to upset everything inside."
Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
"Hmm, good idea" Olrune does as suggested, driving a few spikes through the door then pulling them out at the same time so if water starts rushing in it has a few openings
Since no one else is going to address the zombie, i will say arvin took care of it :P
Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
Lol he seemed to have it well under control
I didnt know if you were going to try and talk to it or what like someone mentioned in the past. It was low level though so its np
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
Well GM, does our plan of putting smaller holes in the door work to start flooding the next room, or do we have to make Reflex saves, or what?
You talked about it, but never said if you were going to do it. If you do as you said it will work fine.
I have been waiting for someone to post
When you put holes in the door... to your surprise nothing seems to happen? I wonder why...
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
Olrune wrote: "Hmm, good idea" Olrune does as suggested, driving a few spikes through the door then pulling them out at the same time so if water starts rushing in it has a few openings italics added :p
Anala frowns slightly as it seems to have no effect, before peering through one of the holes just placed. The next room must already have been flooded. Assuming that is so--and nothing dangerous appears to be on the other side--she will open up the door.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Your assumptions of the room already being flooded is correct as you look through one of the holes... HOWEVER the door doesn't open as easily as you anticipated. It feels as if its perhaps boarded shut or even block on the other side somehow and your initial attempt at opening the door fails.
Male Undine Monk 5
Wait a moment
Arvin goes to the door placing his hand on the door and concentrates attempting to feel any water vibration on the other side.
blinsense 30' in the same body of water
Oooo... tricky tricky. The water at the moment is still Arvin :)
::Well this makes no sense! How is the next room filled with water when this one wasn't?:: Liv asks after he peers through the hole in the door.
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
"Both of the doors into these rooms seem to have been boarded up. That must be why they didn't flood... But then why were they boarded in the first place?" she replies, the latter half simply thinking aloud. She steps back from the door, leaving it to Olrune to force it open despite the boards on the other side.
Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
Olrune shrugs "Better find out" Then charges the door
Str1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Male Undine Monk 5
Arvin quickly steps out of Orlune's path.
Well i was about to say that I don't think there is anything moving on the other side. but we should still proceed with caution
The first attempt at the door has no avail, as Orlune slams into the door it doesn't budge.
Need a higher strength check :P
Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
Olrune frowns at the door, then braces himself and tries again
Str1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
that's just bad luck man....
Male Undine Monk 5
Orlune please step back, I will give it a try
Arvin takes a Tai Chi stance and with some graceful fluid movements he gathers a mass of water in front of him and compresses it to a dense mass and thrusts it at the door.
range 30' does 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (5, 6, 1) + 1 = 13 damage
That may weaken it a bit for you.
The door burst open with a many crack and crackle from the splintering and breaking of the doors as they fly into the next room!
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
"Very good boys." Anala says, swimming up slightly to pat Olrune on the shoulder as she waits for the debris to settle. Once it has she advances into the room and looks around.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
As you all enter the room, you see what appears to be a room very similar to the last... With bodies and various holes in the walls... With an exception..
For in the next you see a glow... A blue Glow radiating from a doorway which leads to the next room...
update map :)
Female Nixie Bard (Animal Speaker) 5 (31/33 hp)
Well, I was waiting for other people to have a go, but...
Anala eyes the glow to the next room with curiosity, before humming and tapping out a tune to grant her magic sight once more, before slowly approaching the glow.
Use previous Perception if I can/need it
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Arcana: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
I will wait to see other peoples opinions on what's going on
::Hmm... I wonder if that glow is like what lead me to you?:: Livyathan asks.. no one in particular, apparently. ::You may be right. It doesn't feel like that did.::
Noticing Anala's humming and recognizing the spell, Livy trills softly to cast his own and swims up next to her eagerly.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
"Hmm, well that's interesting" Olrune walks up and opens the door
yup, short and simple lol
Male Undine Monk 5
Arvin isn't the magic type that best left to the wizards and such
Of course Orlune's idea works just as well.
I would like to note that its a doorway as opposed to an actual door :P. I will have the map up tommorow
As you enter you see a similar sized room as the previous ones... except there are no coffined or holes in the walls. Not even a desk or trash anywhere.
There is however a glowing blue rune on the wall towards your right when you walk in....
::Time to investigate!:: Livy thinks excitedly as he swims over to the rune and looks at it closely.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
