ALRIGHT everyone, it looks like I might be convinced to run a second table of this.
Now, for those of you who missed the first recruitment cycle, I am running a Tomb of Horrors game for a group of five, and would like to set up another table. Note, that while the title of the thread says "Tomb of Horrors" that's only the first part of the campaign I have set up. The second act will have a bit of downtime before the group will head to White Plume Mountain, and the third act will... well lets just say you might want to be able to kick all sorts of evil outsider ass.
So... who is willing to traverse Acererak's Island? First priority goes to those who signed up before but didn't make the first table.
Everyone will start off at level 9 (25 point buy) and the game will end with you all at level 12. Average gold for this level... and I hope there is enough interest!

No third party, no races with construct/plant traits, no races with innate spell resistance, and... Nothin game breaking. If you think it might be extremely powerful, then tell me and I will either approve or veto it. This is likely to be a challange, so optimize your character... But I look down upon trying to break the game. I want there to be a large storytelling element, so a backstory is a must.
Legends speak of the ancient Sorcerer-King Acererak and his dealings with outsiders from not only the Abyss, but Abaddon and Hell as well. Who is this Acererak, how has he reappeared over the years, and how can an island roughly the size of Kortos... have appeared off the coast of Osirion seemingly overnight?

Can I try one of the Occult Adventures classes? I wanted to try a Kineticist but for an ongoing game a WIP class may be a turn-off for some GMs.
Yeah, I would rather you stick with the current core, bass, hybrid, or alternate classes. I haven't had enough time to go out of my way and see these in action yet, so I have no idea how balanced the new classes would be in play at this very moment. Sorry!
