I've got one, but approaching doesn't seem to be the best option for me... and Kyton 3 should be nearly dead by now...
Hehehe. Yeah... metagaming it, you need 15 more points of damage (not including the fact that it regenerates) to take it down. In character, you are watching it take those blows, get annoyed and then keep swinging it's chain. Aren't you glad the GLABREZU didn't decide to full attack you 3 times in a row?

Father Raphael |

I have communal align weapon. But given the only person nearby is Suzumaru, who's using magic, I thought my actions would be better spent healing her. I can cast that next round when Hammish is hopefully nearby though.
Also, I love how he keeps trying to guilt me, but I just don't understand what he's saying. Oh tongues curse, I did not foresee you getting used this way.

Doombringer the DM |

He's probably just going to start wailing on you... I suppose you all are lucky that the way they columns work, the thing that is summoned immediately disappears once the person that summoned it is dead. I can imagine that fighting a Glabrezu and 3 chain devils would have ended badly, ESPECIALLY with Jean flying in the air like this.
...
And then I would have had to explain via Deus ex Machina how those things were kept under control... or I could have had them slaughter the entire Pathfinder camp.

Father Raphael |

So, you said he wasn't a summoned demon right? Meaning killing isn't the same as banishing back to his home plane?
If so, I'm thinking Raphael might not be a huge fan of killing him. But he also can't really communicate with anyone as far as he can tell. Except maybe the demon himself, but he'd prefer not to speak Infernal.

Doombringer the DM |

Technically you are on a mix of the Material Plane, Hell, Abbaddon, and the Abyss. If an 'outsider' dies here, it will be as if they died in their own home plane. The benefit to them being here rather than ACTUALLY on their home plane though, is that due to the mixture of planes, they are about as weak as they would be on the Material Plane, not as strong as they would be on their own.
As for not liking the killing... you have no idea what your ally is thinking. In character consequences will be dealt with... in character :3 I'm totally fine with the party having a bit of conflict.

Directly to your south is the 'nose' shaped structure. The actual pillars are on a large hill with a sandy bank to one side, and large boulders covering the other. There is no clear entrance to the Tomb. If you want to investigate the sandy side (which I suggest you do) then place yourselves on the roll20 map where you want to start looking. The entire are looks like its pretty sandy and for the most part, the same.

Suzumaru Viskillian |

Am I seeing the right map? All I see is featureless beige and then a wall of black. I moved myself one step into the black. I have no idea where things are, but I'd like to head past the ring of fleshy monoliths, towards the nose?

Suzumaru Viskillian |

I can't really do this at work, but I'd like to move up to the "nose" and search thoroughly.

Doombringer the DM |

I will assume you take 20, and after about 30 minutes near the nose (which is at the very top of the hill, not at the sandy bank near the bottom), you don't really see anything that can be taken for as an entrance. In fact the pillars that make up the 'nose' seem exactly like the pillars that you encountered before; fleshy, and still likely to shoot out a demon if you were to harm it.

Doombringer the DM |

Andross points to the sand mound. "HEY!!! OVER THERE LOOKS INTERESTING"
Alright, now all you have to worry about is the map on roll20. Suzumaru, you found what might be a hole in the sand where you put the 's' in roll20. Jean found nothing where he searched. Father Raphael, the nose shows nothing but the SAND MOUND AS REPRESENTED ON THE ROLL20 MAP BY THE BLACK LINE
The arrow on roll20 shows where Suzumaru found the indent.

I almost forgot to mention. Just because you don't know what a spell's aura is via detect magic, (same goes with magic items) you CAN make a spellcraft check to figure it out, as long as your character used their senses. For example, if you are walking down the hallway, then get a feeling like you were punched in the gutm you can assume it was an invisible creature... or if you decide to spellcraft it, you can determine if it were magic missile. REALLY bad example, but it's the best I've got off the top of my head.

Father Raphael |

Yes, Raphael was digging in his own indent.
Also, is there a way to delete stuff you've drawn? I've been trying to draw and arrow for the path Raphael takes, but I seem to be making a mess and it doesn't seem to want to delete. :/
Nevermind. Got it. Also, Raphael has an ioun torch circling about his head, so he counts as a light source. Not sure if roll20 does auto-reveal for that sort of thing with darkness and such or not.

Doombringer the DM |

I don't have that turned on (as I'm not a contributor.) I will ASSUME since you all are walking around with a vampire outside, you know its night time and thus need a light source. For those of you relying on the light source, I will leave it up to you to determine what your character can see as I trust you all...

Doombringer the DM |

Instead of arrowing the path (since this is a bit intricate) I would prefer if you numbered it whenever you get the chance. This allows me to tell where every character is in any given point of time (Because, again, I assume you all move at the same time out of combat unless you say otherwise)

Suzumaru Viskillian |

Well, the form of a necromancer casting phantasmal killer! This of course creates a loop of necromancers casting spells over and over again getting us nowhere.
So lets go with Giant blue frogs eating oatmeal at the table! This would terrify Suzumaru nearly to death nearly as much as deathweb.

Suzumaru Viskillian |

Hey guys, I am on a surprise mini vacation, I may not have internet again until Wednesday morning California time. I will post if I can, otherwise bot me!
I will stick with Father Raphael for the most part, and I will most likely provide support and healing. Though if it looks real bad, I would wall of fire to block creatures from getting to us.

Father Raphael |

Raphael's worst fear is probably being abandoned by Sarenrae. Probably due to failing her somehow. If you want a more concrete fear, I could probably try to make something up.
