Never heard of "Sleeves of Many Garments" either. I guess that's what I get for NEVER using Disguise. Well, I did once, but we just used a hat. (A 'circlet' it was described as I should say).

But outside of that, never.

They're pretty nifty, especially for infiltration missions :) Even if you're spotted, changing almost your entire appearan on a whim is just so, so nice. Or even just for general adventuring; donning the garments of any random cultists movement you happen to encounter, whenever and forever? Sold. Definitely for just 200 gold!

Also, I never bought a greater hat of disguise either. But the +10 disguise from having a polymorph effect along with a permanent +2 bonus to either strength or dexterity, potentially small size too and darkvision or rare movement methods from permanent alter self, is a pretty good deal for 12 k I'd say. Especially if we all have like 40k to spend.

That leaves me with just short of 24k for sundries.

Dilana can work anywhere, she just needs the materials. Simple enough to get what we need and teleport I would think.

Just do what my live group did. Use a Stone shape spell to seal the entrance to the complex in the Machine caves. Switch off the power using defenses and you have a lab usable as both a production and military lab.

Even if you're not making anything you can recharge anything you have that uses charges.

Things I forgot to ask, how are you getting to Starfall and are you asking anyone about it or the Technic league?

The league didn't exist before Casandalee left Starfall, so she can't tell you much. There are others you could talk with though. Khonnir Baine for one.

Olimpia is more confident with her new ability to change her appearances. She was never conspicuous about being an android but since she is wanted by the League she chooses to change her appearance to that of a young human woman that vaguely resembles herself. Wearing this new face she is happy to go about the town and shop and help gather information.

Ok. I've been through the book a couple of times now and it's...awful.

We've reached the one book in the AP that just doesn't work.

The way it's set up you have nothing to do but assault either the Technic league compound, or the Palace of Fallen stars. No other leads or events in the city.

Once you've earned sufficient Notoriety then the local insurgents reach out to you.

It says you can go looking for them first, ignoring the fact that the rebels are mentioned nowhere in any of the previous books.

So I'm going to say you find a boring inn to base yourselves in for a start. Then you almost magically realize that there must be opposition to the league in such a shithole and try to find them.

Diplomacy is your friend. Doing some quiet and polite hinting at one of the night markets will get you leads.

Thanks! As I read your dialogue I was immediately thinking "Did we miss clues to the resistance?"? From all the lead up I have the feeling that any notoriety at all and the League would have rounded us all up. lol

I need to read that whole info dump but work has been rough his week. I might get to it tonight if the kids relax by 15% otherwise it will be this weekend.

If you want to bandaid fix the resistance angle, Elrys' backstory is that she was involved with resistance to the Technic League. Originally I figured those were mostly the Kellid tribes but it'd probably make sense if she had some kind of local contact, or instructions on how to contact them.

That is not a bad idea. You were given a name to try and contact. Mockery is the name of the person you're looking for. Understandably very paranoid so nothing else was given to you aside from the code phrase 'Friends from the front. Drop that into the conversation to let Mockery know you're maybe genuine.

That means you still need to find a night market, once you do drop hints you'd like to met this Mockery. Working that into a converstion will be fun.
