You have listed Ioun Stone (Lavender) Is this a Lavender and Green Ellipsoid (Ioun Stone)? If so the price is 40k. It is pretty powerful: This stone absorbs spells of 8th level or lower. After absorbing 50 spell levels, the stone burns out and turns dull gray, forever useless. This stone works like a rod of absorption, but absorbing a spell requires a readied action, and cannot be used to empower spells.

You did not put a price on the Timeworn Mindrender pistol. I believe it should be 56K but Timewarn makes it have that, so 28K.

I had made a note on the EMP piston that the party should keep it. This next phase of the mod may be where it's handy.

Is the skillslot Acrobatics +4 both the chip and the slot? Chip is worth 1600 and the slot is worth 2000.

DESCRIPTION

An emergency shelter is a small, 2-foot-long egg-shaped device that can be activated with the touch of a button (a standard action). Once activated, the shelter rapidly unfolds and inflates into a 10-foot-radius hut capable of providing shelter for up to six Medium creatures. This process takes 1 minute to complete. The shelter includes pneumatic spike anchors that can attach it to any ground cover of hardness 8 or less. Several windows allow those inside to see outside. The interior contains several fluorescent lights. The shelter can withstand winds of up to 120 mph, and provides excellent insulation for those inside, maintaining a temperature between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. A small combination heater/air scrubber set on the floor near the entrance to the shelter controls the temperature and purifies any noxious external air into breathable air. The hut has fire resistance 20, cold resistance 20, and acid resistance 10. The dense plastic walls have hardness 8 and 10 hit points. The hut cannot float on water. The door is self-sealing, allowing anyone inside an emergency shelter to live in inhospitable conditions with ease for as long as the power holds out. As long as no foreign objects or creatures remain inside an emergency shelter, it can be commanded at the touch of a button to compact back down into its portable shape over the course of 1 minute. After this point, the device consumes 1 charge over the course of 8 hours resetting its internal structure, limiting its deployment to 3 times a day at most.

Too start with my best option is making out my Headband of Vast Int. With the sale of the +4 and what I was sitting on there is still 12k

Sell the +4 for 8k

I have a few idea for the rest but has anyone seen anything to counter radiation and do you think it is worth it. It seems that may come up again in this AP though it could be a waste of money. Thoughts?

How do we handle what skill bonus come from the head band.

Hmm. I thought the whole point about staves is that they operated at your caster level? Here is a quote from the SRD on staves:

"Using Staves: Staves use the wielder’s ability score and relevant feats to set the DC for saves against their spells. Unlike with other sorts of magic items, the wielder can use his caster level when activating the power of the staff if it’s higher than the caster level of the staff. This means that staves are far more potent in the hands of a powerful spellcaster. Because they use the wielder’s ability score to set the save DC for the spells, spells from a staff are often harder to resist than those from other magic items, which use the minimum ability score required to cast the spell. Not only are aspects of the spell dependent on caster level (range, duration, and so on) potentially higher, but spells from a staff are also harder to dispel and have a better chance of overcoming spell resistance."

I think you should keep and use that staff.

Well... we know there is an evil ancient entity out to assert world dominance, but did we have any indication anywhere if there was any urgency with the time? As if, are there signs it is breaking free from its prison or what not?

Something I learned recently is that to charge a staff you have to use a spell slot of highest spell the staff can cast. So for the staff in question I believe all you need is a 4th level slot. In another game we had a staff that required a 6th level slot (Chain Lightning iirc) and we were way too low to recharge it. So it got sold.

As far as time goes you know that Unity is still a long way from gathering the power he needs to start taking over. Casandalee can tell you what to look for.

When things start getting dangerous in Starfall is when you will know he's ready to move. So you can take some time to prepare.

I would say thanks to teleporting to where you are you could take a month to craft items.

30 days is worth 15K to the party. Might be worth more in getting the equipment we want of something is not otherwise available.

If you do not have other priorities and have the spells to do so Olimpia would ask for you to craft either her Headband of Mental Prowess (Int and Wisdom) +2 (10 days) or upgrade her Belt of Mighty Constitution from +2 to +4 )12 days). She is not getting anything small except the Ioun Stone that those have tough crafting requirements iirc.

With a somewhat limited spell selection you might need help with the spell pre-reqs for some items.

I am happy to craft what you need and we can work to get what is needed. I don't actually plan to make anything for myself. The headband would take too long and that is the big ticket item for me.

Bear with me. It just works better. I'm working on a crazy post and it just works better if a couple of you are there. :)

Going shopping. We've got time on our hands, this idea hit me and I said: 'What the hey?' *shrugs* (I'm willing to bet, that none of you have EVER seen a "shopping montage" in a game before. Mainly because there aren't too many dorks like myself who would actually do one. Let's just keep it honest. :P And if you have, well, dang). :P Plus, it's more fun than buying boring ol' hats of disguises. Which, I guess we'll buy anyway, but, whatever. :)

Enjoyed the montage but Olimpia cannot go out until she has either her ioun stone or until she can borrow a hat of disguise. And the point here in this place is to blend in and not stand out. lol.

Also Olimpia is two years old. She likely has never gone shopping, never warn a dress, and has no fashion sense at all. So there is a chance to be nice to her and provide reasonable guidance or to pull a practical joke and dress her silly, :)

Lol! Luthor wouldn't dress her silly. That'd just be mean. Plus, Elrys wouldn't allow it anyway. ;) Lol!

Shopping list for Elrys:

Greater hat of disguise: Permanent alter self to disguise to small humanoid (halfling?), +10 polymorph bonus to disguise and small size > +2 dex, +1 hit, +1 ac, -2 str = 12 k.

+2 int Ioun stone with ranks in disguise (why this is available in a town of lawful good crusaders, I don't know for sure. I guess they have spies too.) = 8 k.

disguise kit: 100 g?

Suggested sells for Elrys: Spellstoring longsword (9165), +3 chain shirt (4575). (Elrys picked up virtually no gear on the way here. I hope selling these excess items to upgrade her own gear is acceptable to everyone).
