Crafting 29Kgp worth of stuff will take 29 days, plus additional days if people want you to craft stuff for them (like my boots, amulet and belt). Might be worth adding up what people want crafted so that we know how much time we're going to be spending here.
Well that is a lot of time but we have had stressful lives, not bad for a little downtime.
Clearly Dilana will help craft what people want, with a 19 spellcraft she can do pretty well on wonderus items.
Both items I wanted can be crafted by Dilana. And Boots of Striding and Springing would work great for Olimpia too with her Spring attack ability. That is 25% more Spring! :)
With crafting more items are available AND items are cheaper, leaving more money to craft with.
The +6 Int item is 36000 so 36 days all by itself. You may pay for the upgrade cost but the crafting time is by the list price iirc.
So my two items would be 16 days + 9 days = 25 days. And that does not include the boots.
Do we really have a third of a year to craft?
You're right about the time required, I forgot about that. That mean that, if we want to save 50% on whatever we can by crafting, we're looking at somewhere in the order of 96 days. That seems like a lot of downtime to me, but I'm used to campaigns with a timer where downtime is never more than a handful of days.
That length of time may be totally within acceptable limits here, it's up to the GM.
Yep. Worst case, say we each get 23 K worth of stuff crafted and Korvan with half that. That is 46 days of crafting times 4.5 or over 200 days. Does not seem totally reasonable.
I will also add that we might be going out of reasonableness for our level with +3 cloaks and even +4 stat items. +6 stat items at 8th level is super nice but certainly not the norm right?
I guess we need some GM guidance here. Did you really mean unlimited crafting time?
No. 2 or 3 weeks is fine, any more and rocks fall. :)

My mother is leaving tomorrow to take a nice cruise around New Zealand for two or so weeks. I'm heading to my parents house to care for my Father while she's away. So I've spent most of the day getting my stuff ready and preparing things while I'm away.
Once I'm there tomorrow I should be able to resume posting properly, thankfully my mother has stayed up to date with technology and has a PC of her own.

I haven't got anything I want to do right now with my Craft Magic Arms and Armour so I'm happy to do Korvan's mithril chain shirt upgrade (which takes four days) first then anything else that people want me to do with the remaining 17 days.
Ok, so here is my plan. I will buy a Corset of Dire Witchcraft, 22k, if available. I would also like to buy a Ring of Sustenance for 2500. With the gold I have already that leaves me at just under 2500 gold.
From there I can craft whatever you guys want that we can fit into the time we have.
I think that makes the most sense, getting a +6 headband at this level would be a little bit of abuse of the system and I would rather boost multiple players then make one big item.
On a side note I find the Ring of Sustenance to be one of the most quietly useful items in the game. Between not having to worry about food and not having to sleep a full eight I really is quite powerful.
The ring takes all the RP out of things though, especially in a RL game when you tell the GM your PC is going to the bathroom and they just look shocked because no one ever talks about it haha.
I do like the ring as well, 2500 gold is a steal for what it does. Figgy could use a bump up to his AC as well but really I am kinda always in the middle so I will be ok till later. I don't have craft Cybernetics or I would Olimpia, maybe I will take that feat next level so I can do those things. Once we get the work station I can do those things, I just have to bump up my heal skill as well.

Hmm. I have two +1 swords that someday need to be +2. If you have nothing of higher demand lets use 9 days to make the cold iron blade +2. I think the upgrade would be 7000 and crafting half of that.
For that I would need Craft Magic Arms and Armor which I do not have.
Figgy - I don't think it means you cant eat or go to the bathroom its just an active choice making for even stronger roll play.

Unsure what to ask of you Dilana. The cloak upgrade would take 9 days and cost 2500, saving me 2500. But even an upgrade to her Amulet of Natural Armor would take 8 days (costing 3500). And her true desire, the +4 dex item would take 16 of your 21 days. Even the 8 day request is more than Olimpia's "share" of crafting days.
For 5 days of crafting Olimpia would be thrilled to have a set of Boots of Striding and Springing. I think that is the least number of days that would help her.

Well I asked for some stuff from Figgy but you said he could not make them. I guess I am not sure what Figgy can make. Is there a list.
I think Dilana must dell out her 21 days of crafting time. My priority would be the cloak upgrade but that is 9 days so I am happy to downgrade to 5 days and the boots if that is possible.
I think I am spending:
3500 for the weapon upgrade to +2
5000 for the cloak upgrade to +3
2500 for Dilana to craft the boots?
That still leaves me 12K
Would a Vest of Escape be available?
Right now Figgy can make anything from the Technological Items set since I need labs and the crashed ship is a Tech lab

@Olimpia. What you were asking for is Cyberware, which requires it's own specialized production lab.

Weapons, armor, cyberware, medical items, all take a dedicated lab. Anything else can be made in the available production lab. Things such as E-picks. Batteries. Comsets. Breathing masks ETC.

Looking over the weapons, I'd like a vortex gun. 10d6 force in an 1000 foot cone. :) Only 182K. lol In truth anything I want I cannot afford. An EMP rifle might be handy. List price is 24K3d6 damage vs robots and is a touch attack.
Armor is not a good deal for Olimpia.
Could use some e-picks. Might as well go blue or better. Only lists for 1800 for blue.
A force Field seems a no-brainer. But price goes up fast. White is 20k. Can you make that one? Have we found one?

Again with an apology. The last few days have been hectic to say the least! My Mothers cruise ship docked in Wellington on Sunday, so we had a family meal at a waterfront restaurant.
Then my brother has gone in to hospital for treatment of his irregular heartbeat. Incurred during the coughing epidemic we had a couple of months ago.
Which has left me caring for his dog as well as my father, an insane German shepherd with too much energy. (The dog, not my father.)
Thankfully his treatment worked and he's fine again, so tomorrow I will be back to having some free time and will return to the updating.
