"Let's have a look around Hemzel's hut. This Gire fellow doesn't want a fight with us."
Sleeping Sword whispers to his fellow pathfinders, and slowly moves towards the hut if the way is clear ie if the swarm is dispersed and if Gire does not intervene.

Ethan pauses for a moment and the runic markings on his hammer glow, his eyes flash silver and he leaps forward far faster than anyone encased in full plate should be able to. Reaching the burning house he draws out a blanket and looks for a way to put out the fires.
I don't suppose you can help us here he asks the invisible speaker, after all if this fire spreads it could cause a lot of damage to the forest.

“I will not help. The lorestone, yes its that smooth rock? Cyflymder took it with him after he killed that druid.I will be heading off now, good luck and hope it works out.”
The heat is palpable inside the primitive, one-room hovel. Tinder from the fireplace is strewn about, sparking the fires that now climb the reed walls. The room itself is in shambles. An eviscerated human body sprawls across the floor, and a butchered wolf lies against the wall by the front door. Puddles of blood surround them. The man’s hands are tied to a rough wooden table, upon which sits an ornate—but empty—box
and a blood-spattered manuscript.

"Whatever his crimes, surely this man deserved a better end."
Sleeping Sword casts his heavy cloak over the flames next to Hemzel's body, then slashes at Hemzel's bindings with his sword in an effort to free the man's remains.
I assume no attack roll is necessary and that Hemzel is bound with ropes or vines, not metal handcuffs. If the latter, I will instead try to lift the table so as to free Hemzel's remains that way.
