About Kraicek Rab

After leaving Galt as a young man in search of adventure, Kraicek found that his skill with a bow made him an excellent hunter...particularly when his quarry was people. In the ensuing years he sold his skills to a dozen employers in as many cities, often working as a guard or an enforcer. One day, while working as a guard for a regional warlord, a party or tough-looking characters rode into the compound to meet with his employer, only to ride out again that very evening, their purses a little heavier. That night, he dreamt of a town being razed by a raiding party. As they rode from house to house he saw each face in the flickering firelight was his own. He woke to hear news of a nearby town that had been sacked in the night, it's residents killed or driven off in order to secure the valuable mines nearby for the warlord. He interpreted his dream as a message from Erastil, telling him of his complicity in their crimes. He rode off the next day in search of a place where he could atone for his past and do good in the world. A chance to take down those ruffians (all of whom bore copper badges with the image of a snake) or their ilk is added motivation.
