Should I post a 24 hour notice? I know everyone has been pretty busy lately, so just wanted to check what you guys want me to do to keep this thing moving along.

She only manages to hiss out a "Shi-!" as the trap springs and a javelin nearly impales her. The now blood stained implement clatters to the ground in the dust, and she steps back from the door to force any would-be assailants into a bottle-neck.

"Well... go hit them then!" the young man replies, pulling up his spear to stab any that make it through the door. The eidolon does as asked, gliding through the door and swinging his arms in an overhand axe-handle blow at the kobold.

Rahaal's jaw tightens as she sees the wound in Erimriel's shoulder. That's serious!

Trying not to let her concern show in her voice, she motions for Emeriel to stay back and then starts to do what she's most comfortable doing in times of fear: using her words to bring out courage in herself and others. "Compatriots, be wary but be brave! We will yet prevail, in the name of civilization!"

Serafina gasps as the javelin embeds itself into Erimriel's shoulder, her eyes searching into the room for their foes. Hoping the others back her up, she hurries into the room, hoping to get into position to overpower the will of the creatures with her magic, but cannot see a thing in the pitch black of the chamber.

Miloslav quickly fills the void left by the creature, but nearly stumbles over it in the dark.

The troglodytes heave the javelins in their hands at the intruders, one lodging itself in the wall, the other narrowly missing the clustered heroes in the doorway, sticking itself into the door frame. They then lift up a pair of clubs menacingly.

Accompanied by a fair deal of muttering under her breath, Erimriel storms into the room to the nearest of the remaining lizard-things. Predictably, it anticipates an attack from the spear in the large aasimar's hands, but as is often the case, it is her lethal feet that rain destructive blows. Using the butt of her spear to effect a short vault, she twirls once in the air and extends her right leg as the leap crests. Her heel cuts downward and into the top of the troglodyte's head like an axe splitting wood.

Sorry, I've been really bad about updating pbp lately.

Sasha moves into the room standing beside Serafina and his light to her own, touching the tip of his spear as he casts the spell to set the object glowing. He then readies himself with the spear once more, trying to look somewhat imposing.

Arctalan continues across the room and once again balls his hands together taking a sideways swipe at the reptilian creature. The eidolon's strike only manages to find the wall a few feet to the creature's side, however.

Now able to see, Miloslav heeds Rahaal exhortation. He raises his curved blade high and charges at the remaining troglodyte. He trips on one of the stone tiles in the floor, and nearly drops his blade instead of hitting the beast.

After a series of comically inept attacks from 3 different parties, Arctalan goes back to the solid overhead blows that served him well before, this time connecting heavily with trog's shoulder. The reptilian creature struggles with the weight of the blow, but skitters out of the way of Arctalan's unhinged maw, saving itself from death for the moment.

Sasha then shouts in the tongue of dragons, "Surrender! You need not die like this." He keeps his spear at the ready in case his words fail.

"Thet you met the charge speaks enough, comrade. Gorum favors velor, be it soldier or beggar." Emriel winces a bit at her shoulder, tearing a length of fabric from the hem of her blue tunic to wrap it in a crude bandage. "Besides, thet lest stroke was mesterful as swordplay goes."


Among the various bodies, you are able to procure 4 javelins, 3 clubs, and 27 silver pieces. As for what remains of the room itself, most of the few remaining arms in the room have rusted away, though there are a few salvageable items. Namely, a nice looking, shiny dagger, a well made light steel shield emblazoned with a leaping dolphin, and a banner depicting a bird made of living flame.

Serafina approaches the better-looking items, scanning them for the signs of magic.


Should have mentioned, all non-magical. From here on in, I will try to remember to denote magical items in the listing of gear, since it is usually a default action after combat to determine which is which.

A look of tentative relief crosses Rahaal's exhausted face. She motions everyone to gather around and then tries the Northeast door.

Miloslav moves up behind Rahaal and nods to her that he is ready.


Rahaal opens the door and reveals the next chamber to those gathered around the door. Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor. Standing near the collection of puddles are two dog sized lizards with two horns on either side of their heads. As they raise their heads to look at you, electricity appears to dance across their greenish yellow scales.

Can't see the map, so let me know if this isn't feasible.

Seeing the look of alarm on Rahaal and Miloslav's face as the door is opened, Serafina rushes into the room, sucking in her breath as the lightning lizards appear to crackle with energy. She unleashes a torrent of multi-colored energy towards the creatures, attempting to make them easy pickings for the others.

Real post later but...If both lizards resist the color spray, Rahaal will cast Bless. If one or more succumbs then she'll just give an inspiring command to Miloslav.
