Things I am currently tossing up between:
Arcane Archer
- front-loads the bonus feats, but really, beyond the auto-bow upgrades, and some (minor) bard (or witch) spellcasting (the former requires me to dump Wisdom, so that I have enough Charisma to benefit from it), it doesn't give me much.
Sentinel
- steady, minor progression; bonus feats; extra to hit and damage; DR, and a cohort; however, if I ever run out of seeds to plant, or arrow bundles, I lose my class features for the day
Sky Seeker
- phenomenal bonuses on damage versus goblins and giants (which, from the blurbs, this AP features *a lot* of); some minor Cleric (or Druid) spellcasting.
Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?
;-)

I will admit, despite it being the pretty-much 'vanilla' option, I am leaning towards Arcane Archer, with Witch spells (so that I can make use of only Int as my casting stat. Also, having access to 'Hermean Potential' amuses me, since I will be running a Pureblood - I can help others find the 'pureblood within' ;-)).
That way, I also start with point blank / precise shot / weapon focus / rapid shot / arcane strike at level 1, which isn't too shabby.

Um, it looks good to me, but your the expert...

Still looks good to me... not that I know what 'Hermean Potential' means.
So, what is a 'pureblood'?
I changed my icon back, I got tired of the funny looking guy with the tattoos and Neanderthal eyebrows.

For sheer "theme" (given your previous character) the "Skyseeker" works best, but any of those are fine.
As to which level you get stuff at... I, uh... you know, hold on, I have to check. It might be a while.
I'm pretty exhausted: we had TKD yesterday, fish dinner yesterday, TKD belt-test today, carnival today, and we just got back home.
I am tired. And hungry. XD

Well, sir, eat something and go to bed :-)
I'm off Sat & Sun. So I'm going to bed soon as well. be back on my normal 'midnight' shift Monday...

I will! When I can!
Also, a "pureblood" is a human that is exactly like a human, but has a +2 bonus to all ability scores instead of only one (also has a bonus feat and a +1 skill).
It comes from the lost empire of ancient Azlant (Aroden, the dead god, is known as "the last Azlanti"), who were basically experimental humans genetically bred and designed by aboleths.
Some Azlanti followed a radical non-"human supremacist" guy who founded Thassilon (and who worked with non-human and non-Azlanti races and ethnicities). His seven apprentices became the Runelords (after corrupting the seven virtues of rule into the seven deadly sins).
When they "rebelled" against (i.e. posed a moderately credible threat to) their (secret) aboleth makers, the aboleth used super-magic to cause a meteor to crash into the planet, causing Earthfall (and the Starstone, which killed two deities).
Thassilon was crushed with all the rest and the people bred into the locals (resulting in Varisians).
Aroden putzed around for thousands of years, leading most of the survivors from the Azlanti over to Taldor (though he dropped some of them off in Cheliax) and founded the Taldan empire (and the Taldan ethnicity after they blended with the locals).
Some of the others accepted survival offers from weird piscine-like "under"lords and were transformed into gillmen.
Either way that "super" effect from the Aboleths (the all scores +2) was bred right the heck outta any descendents.
Somewhere in the deep south, Old Mage Jtambe was being the best there ever was, grabbed an evil decapitated god's dream-self corpse-less head and chatted him up to learn ways to protect as many people as possible and survive the darkness, then permanently sewed the thing's lips shut and even though it was just a dream, it prevented said god from reuniting his people and causing mass destruction on the world (or getting his body back). He then dumped it back into the pit from whence it came (because it was evil, you know).
Aroden (who had been a famous blacksmith back in the day), eventually (after a couple thousand years) discovered and successfully used cheater magic to intentionally raise the Starstone, accidentally found the Starstone cathedral/test of the Starstone, and intentionally created Absalom. And then ascend to full super Sayin god mode and head out of Golarion to Axis.
Anyway, that's the really, really long answer to your question.
I need fooooooooooooooood.

TL, I am impressed by your knowledge of Azlanti lore! I didn't know all that!

Heh.
It has a slightly more irreverent spin to it than I would have put on it, but it is essentially an accurate summation ;-)
I think I can make the Skyseeker Prestige Class work - it actually makes a certain amount of sense; an underground research facility accidentally broken into by dwarves; a man found in stasis; the wards, however, had begun to decay over the millennia, and whilst his body had been preserved, he was suffering from profound retrograde amnesia; the dwarves took him in, and helped him to reform a life; although most of what had gone before was a blur, like a summer daydream, half forgotten, he remembered being immensely proud of the past, and so he took to Dwarven (and Azlanti/Thassilonian) history with a passion!
Yes, that could *just* work...
I should have his profile updated shortly.

'Sun Seeker' is the non-copyright-infringing name given to the class by d20pfsrd ;-)
ah the generic brand.
I looked at the wrong website, I should have looked here for the good stuff, first.
So what will be the ancestral weapon?
So no arcane archer...

Okay, guys, I've been trying to prepare (while I also prepare for my real-life game and clean my house) but I am honestly not sure I can run a PbP here with this text and font and similar. It's... awful. I am nursing a nascent eye-ache at present, while avoiding looking at the screen as much as possible whil typing this up. It's... not fun.
I deeply apologize for this, but further developments will have to be put on hold until I can actually stand to spend, you know, time, looking at the forums.
:/

I have a text book on fonts. Do you think I should recommend a few less painful ones to them?

In PM I asked TL
His replySo how is the whole 'Fonte' adjustment going?
Or should we just call the whole thing off?
RH
Ack! Going well!
Sorry - I'd forgotten about that!
(In addition to getting together to chat with several people for my upcoming actually Table Top version, my son's schedule and TKD schedules have changed this last week, so I'm working on getting used to those, too!)
But, yes, the current font stuff will be fine! XD
(I still have to get used to the slightly-less-convenient interface, but I can, you know, look at the screen without a headache, now, so that's nice!)
I'll try to carve out some time tomorrow to chat more, but feel free mention this on the thread or whatever.
And now: getting a little bit of all that sleep that I'm missing!
So this is the “Mention this on the thread or whatever” part…
