Baker closes his eyes, and leaps...
...right into the T-Rex's snapping maw!
You will need a Toughness save vs. DC 20 (conditions only)
It tries to rend and maul you by shaking you side to side. During one particularly vicious shake, Baker is unexpectedly sent flying towards the tank! He lands poorly, impacting the machine gun mounting and spraying bullets everywhere!
Time to sit back and watch the fun. Oh, you can direct it to whichever targets you want with a thought. Free action It won't last more than a minute however. Or until it runs out of those metal beads...bullets?
Random Multiattack Machine Gun vs. Triceratops #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Damage DC 21
Random Multiattack Machine Gun vs. Pterodactyl #1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 Damage DC 21

Random Multiattack Machine Gun vs. T-Rex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Damage DC 21
All misses unfortunately.

The fool what is he doing up there. No matter i have to get the other gadget from that over sized rat with wings.
Careful up there you fool
Timeline looks the the pterodactyl that took the other device and ports to it reaching out and touching the device and porting back. Once back Timeline quickly looks over the gadgets. Technology: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Ah what a little nifty device we have here.

DM_Lazer_Beam |

To deactivate, you will need to succeed at a Technology/Expertise(Computers) skill challenge as a single full-round action next turn. To attempt the skill challenge, you must roll 5 of the appropriate checks and hit the correct number of successes.

Timeline |

Making me next turn actions to hopefully speed things up because I don't always have the time to post...ironic I know
Timeline looks over the device. Ive seen technology like this before but when in Time was that...Ah it doesn't matter but i think it was future tech now lets see if I can reconfigure this device and shut it down.
Timeline begins finagling with the device.
Technology 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15

DM_Lazer_Beam |

Joe, You would have to charge in order to be close enough to hit the triceratops as it moved 40 ft away and you can only move 30. Charging in M&M is an attack penalty of -2 meaning your attack would have then not hit the triceratops. Did you want to double move instead??
Insight Check: That Triceratops isn't trying backing down, he is preparing to charge!

You better take a "Time out" big fella.

damn i doubt that hits the big lumix but hopefully it breaks the device as planned.
Almost forgot again tank toughness here is the roll, let me know if this changes anything with the tank and I will re post.Tank toughness: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

DM_Lazer_Beam |

@Emit: Your post is fine but you have taken your action this turn. This will be your action for next turn.
@Baker: You only fail by 1 degree against the T-Rex bite so you are fine because of Impervious.
Since all of the enemies are within range and firing at all of them at once is an exercise in futility, which targets do you want? To fire at all 5 raptors reduces the Attack bonus to only +3 and the raptors are good at dodging. Firing at one target takes no penalty to hit and can add damage bonuses for how high it succeeds by.

Rabbi Joseph Fankenburg |

well, since no one is close enough to attack, i'll take a double move to be in front of the soon to be charger triceratops, and hopefully break its charge, feel free to put me in the must appropriate spot to do such with a double move.

Baker, ignore the T-Rex attack. It was unable to charge you due to rough terrain. and it was still staggered.
Emit, your shot misses the T-Rex but sends the device hurtling towards the far end of the room...

Since you said it is possible to charge the triceratops, i will, charge is a minus 2 penalty correct?

Baker Scott |

Well I guess destroying it like that is out of the question... and that counting down can't be good...
Hey Professor! I've got an idea! Can you grab that sphere and pop to wherever you go that tank from, or at least disappear with it for a few seconds (read: jump forward one round) and see if the time-jump causes the dinos to lose their holo-cohesiveness! If that sphere is generating a continuous holo-signature on a low band frequency, then clipping a few seconds out of its modulation may disrupt the sphere's ability to generate holograms! Still not sure what to do about that count-down though... but it might be worth a shot?

The names Timeline kid and let me handle this it takes a real hero to deal with this not some lucky young punk.
Timeline realizing time is up and worrying what is coming and civilians in the area decides to do something maybe a bit brash. Timeline focuses on Mount Vesuvius in 1944{the last known eruption no really look it up} Timeline opens a portal under the device that leads to the inside of the volcano I open the portal on the inside wall of the valcano so that it falls into the lava
Expertise history: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14 +5 if using a memory which it is. so a 19

DM_Lazer_Beam |

Baker picks up the HoloCore and tosses it into the tank. Move and a Standard.
@Timeline: Mt. Vesuvius is 5,000 miles from your current location. This would require you to use the Improved Extended Teleport function. 3 move actions, no turnabout and you'd be stunned for 1 round at the end. Making it a portal adds another move action to create the portal as per the flaw that was added to the portal function. I'd advise picking a different destination, one that is wihin 4 miles (a move action) or within 1,000 miles (a full-round action). 1,000 miles is essentially anywhere within the continental U.S.
You would still succeed at creating the portal just before the HoloCore goes off but it will take you this round and next round to do so. That means another round of dino beat down. And you'd have 1 round of being stunned after you created the portal.

Timeline |

Well I am going to re post my last post to make it work so ignore the last post. And with my last power point me and Rory made it a free action to use portal

The HoloCore and wrist device fall into the molten lava below with not a femtosecond to spare.
Just in the nick of...Time. Timeline grins wryly.
The sounds of molten rock churning can be heard as the inside of the tank is assaulted by an incredible wave of heat, sulfur, and ash. As the portal closes, each of the dinosaurs flicker once before finally collapsing in on themselves, leaving behind only skeletal remains.
A number of of the bones shatter from earlier trauma at your hands or from falling (as is the case for the pterodactyl skeletons). The entire room is a complete mess.
Madelyn begins to stir...

Madelyn Fourmer |

Wh-wha-? Madelyn sits up, her hair a disheveled mess. She tries to stand only to hit her head against the cramped roof of the tank.
The pain seems to bring her surroundings into focus. I-I'm in...a tank?!
She spots Timeline and the unconscious form of Dr. Oz. Who are you and why are we inside of a WWII M26 Pershing tank?! Tell me right now or...or... She grabs something out of her pocket. I'll mace you!
K-kidnapping is a federal crime. They'll put you away for life.

Rabbi Joseph Fankenburg |

I use a double move action to run as far down the tunnel as i can to get out of sight of the other two guys, hopefully reaching F 68 before the tank is removed. i cannot afford to replace the damaged property, time to run away.

DM_Lazer_Beam |

@Pope: You are able to safely get out of sight behind the double doors to this room. You are alone in the short hallway between rooms and can change if you wish.
The machine gun seems to have run out of ammunition and falls silent.

Timeline in deep voice trying to mask his voice Batman stile if you would.
Mam I assure you I mean you no harm, This gentleman here brought these Dinos back to life as you seen briefly before you fainted so I rescued you and defeated them single handedly "in no Time Flat".
Timeline Releases the tank making sure the slight drop doesn't hurt mrs. Fourmer. He smiles then disappears into thin air.
Timeline teleports to the bathroom and changes back to Mr. Nile and starts heading towards the room he just teleported out of, on foot ofcourse.

DM_Lazer_Beam |

Emit, you walk out of the lobby to see one of the tour groups disbursing. Most head out the door but several linger in the lobby. There is a small crowd outside the museum's steps taking pictures and gawking at something outside on the roof.
A van pulls up outside marked FBBC. It has a stylized fireball and is topped by a small satellite dish. A reporter and cameraman step out and immediately head towards teh group of people.

Baker Scott |

Baker tries to think fast...
Uh.... oh crap. Well, I guess the best lies have a bit of truth in them, so here goes nothing...
Baker slumps down into a sitting position, eyes growing wide.
Holy crap! I didn't know hard-light holograms were a reality yet! Robocorp has been working on something like that for a while, but this?
Baker looks up at Madelyn.
I just came in here following a signal from someone or something that was messing with my PDS feeds, and stumbled into a fight for my life against things a room full of dinosaurs.
Baker stands up, looking concerned.
If it hadn't been for that time-line guy, I'm sure I would've been toast, self-defense lessons or not... He's the one who put you in that tank, you know; to keep you safe he said. Said I would probably be fine out here with him covering for me.
Baker carefully walks over to Dr.O and gestures to the unconscious man.
Have you called the police yet to arrest this man? He's the guy time-line was taking on, and--
...bending down to examine his suit...
--judging by what he's wearing, it seems like he was the one controlling the holograms. You go call, quickly, and i'll make sure he doesn't go anywhere, i've got some zip-ties in my pocket that are usually for binding wires, but i'm sure they'll work for this.
Baker looks at Madelyn, willing her to believe his story given the Extra Effort he put into thinking it up and making sure all the pieces hopefully worked together, and breathes out as he feels a bit of fatigue creep into his muscles and joints.
Man, i've got to go to the Gym more often if this is going to be the norm... I thought I was in shape...
Persuasion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Deception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
I'd like the extra effort to go for the Deception roll, please.

Baker Scott |

As soon as Madelyn leaves, I want to make a check to see if there are any good parts on Dr.O that weren't damaged that I could stow somewhere for later, as well as zip-tie his hands and feet together.
If she doesn't leave to call, I'll put on the zip ties, and use that as an excuse to see if I can't get some tech off of him to look into later.

DM_Lazer_Beam |

Emit, your students are still in the bus across the street. Well, all except Rogers and Franklin who are gawking with the rest of the crowd.
They are all gawking at the Sphinxonium's sphinx statue above the steps. It apparently has developed a large crack down it's face and through it's right paw. the statue is immense and is a part of the building structure itself. Probably going to be a huge pain in the rear to repair.

Baker Scott |

Baker mentally smiles.
You do make a good partner sometimes you know. Though, what's this about me somehow being able to jump across rooms now? That's new.

Prof. Emit Nile |

Franklin, Rogers back on the bus right now i got to take a head count.
Huh that must have been that loud crash earlier oh well i think i saved the day again with my secret identity intact i just wish i could tell people sometimes.
Thanks for making me look good with you description by the way rob and good luck with all of that.
