Rei stands up and turns around. Putting her hands up on the bars, she eyes the various occupants.
All these people would no doubt love to see the kingdom in ruins. Perhaps if we can find an opening... They say no one has ever escaped from here, but there must be a way.
"One way or another I'll be checking out of here in three days. Since I'd prefer it not be by way of four horses who can't agree on their direction of travel, you can count me in."
Her mind focused again with a challenge before it, she sits down facing the bars and begins reviewing everything she remembers from her arrival in Branderscar up until this point, trying to think of anything that might aid them.
Fletch, too restless to fall asleep, begins scouring the cell for anything useful.
We must be pretty deep in the earth if the lack of sunlight is any indication. There might be traces of useful minerals in the loose strata that covers this floor.
I begin to gather small bits of rock and other detriment in an (vain) attempt to analyze it.
Raymond ponders whether or not he'd really be considered 'vile.' After a few seconds he comes to his conclusion.
"I don't know about you, but I wouldn't consider myself a bad person. I'm just an insurance salesman. I collected payments from the local shops to help protect them from certain misfortunes that might befall a business. If you paid your insurance, you were safe and everybody was happy. If you didn't, well, one of those things I sold insurance for might just happen. I'm only here because one guy didn't pay for insurance because he didn't think he needed it. Then, lo and behold, what I warned him about just managed to happen right after he said no. Some things got broken, some accusations were made, and I just happened to be an easy target because I was in the shop at the time. Personally, I think they just didn't like the way I look."

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't high treason the only way that they still do that kind of punishment to you?" he states, somewhat surprised.
His eyes practically roll into the back of his head when the other man with his arms bound starts to state that he was innocent. "Your arms are only bound like yours and mine are if they can do something particularly dangerous. Me? I can remove your trachea with 2 fingers." he says with a bit of a laugh mixed in. "You?" he chuckles again. "Well, you don't look too athletic..."
Hound just keeps scratching, chipping and twisting at the stone around his chains, he seems single-minded in his work.
Zed chuckles at the boasts and arguments coming from the other prisoners. "I wonder how many guards are listening to our little conspiracy as we plot. Of course, I can be remarkably persuasive."
Waking to the sound of voices of varying pitches, Lukasz looks around at his surroundings with an dazed look before his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the cell. Is this where I think it is? He thought to himself as he suddenly remembered being hauled out of the carriage that had taken him to the prison. Having resisted, he remembers feeling a blunt impact to the base of his neck before everything went black and then he was here. Listening to the tail end of some conversations, Lukasz replies to himself Seems so, as he hears some talk of what brought them here and others, the bravado talk of the damage they can cause to someone.
Responding to Raymond's words, finally bringing attention to himself, Lukasz says, "The man is right about the guards' keen preference for blunt objects and prisoner's heads. I have had about three of those since my trip to this Hell." Though truthfully, this is far from the Hell I know. he concluded to himself. "But I suppose my introduction has yet to be made and since our former lives seem over, in lieu of profession, allow me to give the reason for why I am here. My name is Lukasz Pavo, and I am to be burned for witchcraft." Though he wears tattered linen clothing, like all gathered, his form of speech and manner in which he stood hinted at education and a noble upbringing.

I am guessing that our in-character banter on this thread doesn't actually count for real in-game.
The guards open the cell across the way. This the prisoner? Not much to look at...
The second guard sneers, Don't let his current form fool ya, Jesse. This ones a pyro. Razed Daveryn's marketplace to the ground in one night. They found him dancing admist the burnt corpses of over a hunnred people. At this, the guard spits at Fletch.
Same night he got here, tried turning into that accursed form to escape. I caught 'im meself afor he could get out of the upper windows. I have him to thank for this. The big man reveals a heavily bandaged hand under his steel gauntlet.
The two guards enter the cell and you can hear the pitiful screeching of a terrified creature followed by a sickening *snap*. There, that should keep 'im from escaping. Take 'im with the others. He'll burn in that form as easily as any other.
The guards finish collecting the "excess" of prisoners to be executed.
This is not the barbarian you are looking for.
